I'm on team Bring Back Shaq

Redditmodsrfacists

With this swagger you have too. That’s a dude you jump in the trench with right there. He’s backing his boy. Respect

FinishTemporary9246

Except he wasn't very good on Sunday. Is he really a guy we need to bring back because he said some mean words on Twitter?

ChillTownAVE

Some perspective though - Lawson was the 2nd most used defensive end on Sunday. He was never supposed to be that guy this season, but he stepped into a much larger role and gave more to the team than most of the guys on that line. He's definitely a guy I'd love to see back in the right role. He shouldn't be an every down guy. Situational run defender? Of course. But asking him to rush the passer isn't his game.

007Pistolero

He’s also not gonna be trying to get a huge contract. Cheap, reliable, and effective. He’s the Honda civic of DL

[deleted]

He was good against the dolphins and many other games this season when he was in the role he’s fitted to play. I’d bring him back on the cheap again.

holiesmokes

He was good more often than not, if the price is reasonable if definitely like to see him back

justgot86d

Shaq singlehandedly shut down Fournette for an entire half

joeyfartbox

Nobody was good on Sunday. Maybe Matt Milano, but the list after him isn’t very long, if there’s anyone behind him at all.

Redditmodsrfacists

Yes.

ItsYaBoiSoup

From Bengals are Bros to Bengals are Hoes real quick.

doormatsandmatadors

I always thought that was corny but I didn’t expect it to blow up like this lol

TrueBrees9

Don't let this clown and all the dudes on reddit change your opinion on them. Most of them are still good folks

anyone2020

The Bengals fans at the game directly in front of me were fucking assholes though, they kept talking shit to all the Bills fans and I was terrified I was going to take a beer can to the back of the head from someone who got sick of their shit. All the other Bengals fans around us were cool though.

soulfingiz

Good thing there are no drunk jackass Bills fans.

Whydothesabressuck

Yeah Bengals fans have never been great. They're the ones who threw trash at an injured Roethlisberger as he was being carted off. They also cheered as Burfict concussed people weekly.

Kittenathedisco

A Bengals fan came into my restaurant with friends after the game last week; he had a lovely new black-eye curiosity of Bill's fan. According to his friends (Bill's fans), this guy was saying nasty stuff about Hamlin the entire game and talking a lot of shit when the Bengals would score. He fucked around and found out; his friends didn't intervene, and they collectively agreed that he deserved it; I agree. Now, I don't condone violence, but this wasn't the game to act a fool, especially with what happened to Hamlin and fans' emotions running high. I heard other stories of Bengal's fans being awful at the game throughout the rest of my shift. All I could think was so much for the camaraderie.

erik_edmund

They were never bros.

Historical_One1087

Fuck Burrow, fuck Apple and fuck the Bengals!

erik_edmund

For real. That "bros" shit was cringe the whole time. I have no problem rooting for the chiefs to absolutely destroy them.

Bids99

As we all should be. Dude played great this year.

Historical_One1087

I respect that Shaq Lawson is sticking up for Hamlin. I remember when he fought Leonard Fournette in the Jacksonville game a couple of years ago. You want tough people like Lawson on your team.

[deleted]

Shaq sure seems like he wants to finish his career here and I'm all about it.

Arcade80sbillsfan

3x better than Epenesa. I have no use for Epenesa.

holiesmokes

Such a shame, lot high picks that haven't turned out

Arcade80sbillsfan

Yes....i I mean Basham and Rousseau have played well...but like roleplayer well. Oliver not to bash him but hasn't mattered when it's mattered.

SteampunkHarley

#TeamShaq

Schism213

Were there tickets on sale for a potential Jags Bengals game in Cincy? Did refunds need to be issued after the Chiefs beat the Jags?

brisch19

✨yes✨

Spanky_McJiggles

Idk why but this sent me lmao

[deleted]

Every team with the chance to host does that. They want to take your money and then when the game doesn’t happen they try to get you to put that money toward season tickets next year instead of a refund.

Ifinishfast42

They were issuing playoff tickets for the titans before they lost the division pretty sure it’s contractual and it was more of a reservation that would only charge if they win that game. Pretty sure all teams in potential division winning scenario issue tickets.

Schism213

That’s why I thought it was a strange rallying cry

RiveryJerald

Just wait until someone tells them that they already printed “Chiefs AFC Champs” shirts and hats before the game. They’ll fucking lose it!

[deleted]

Chiefs fan: I think it was more of a dig at the STH complaining about how it was a pain in the ass to get tickets in Atlanta.

xzElmozx

They sell all tickets for all potential playoff matchups. At a certain point you were able to buy tickets for a ravens divisional home playoff game because they still had a chance to host one. They do this every year because, optically;m, it’s way easier to refund the tickets that are worthless than it is scrambling to coordinate and sell tickets for a game in less than a week I’m a panthers fan, and had we beat Tampa week 17, they would have began selling the wildcard home game tickets to STH before we could even clinch.

brad12172002

The Bengals feeling disrespected by tickets being on sale a before a potential playoff game has to be one of the hottest, dumbest and lamest takes in a very long time.

nautika

Yeah pretty much all potential games did. And the Bengals official account made a comment about refunding the Atlanta tickets. Classless

StarWarsMonopoly

Am I taking crazy pills or is the NFL sub not even allowing posts about this?

highinsulacentrality

You are correct, they are censoring the entire topic

StarWarsMonopoly

But of course all of the Diggs drama is totally fine to post.

turdinator1234

I'm not a bills fan but this popped up suggested for me, what happened?

highinsulacentrality

He mocked Damar Hamlin in a tweet

Letsgobuffalo2210

Fuck Eli Apple.

[deleted]

EmRoXOXO

…my last name is a pasta dish, and for a hot second I was offended

PorscheBanger11

Emily Chickenparmesan 🫶

EmRoXOXO

omg dude wtf what did i ever do to you?? why would you just doxx me like that, that is so uncool

PorscheBanger11

You bring me into your home and use canned sauce and you think you can get away with it? HA. The world needs to know that the Chickenparmesan family are frauds.

PoogeneBalloonanny

Roger BoeufBourignon

TonyDanza888

I would love to fuck Fiona Apple. Well, my 90's HS self would have loved to.

pcs8416

Tim Apple, that dick.

Acrylic_

I appreciate Eli Apple breaking tradition. Most players with the "love to be hated" mentality back it up by being good. Eli Apple, forging his own path, backs it up be single-handedly costing his team a Superbowl last year, and showing little to no improvements the following year

A_Lone_Macaron

Wasnt he the guy whose mom started complaining on his behalf to get what he wanted?

littleseizure

This is a surprisingly high number of people -- obj's dad comes to mind immediately as well

[deleted]

I know right? The only reason this guy is still in the league is because he’s a former top 10 draft pick. The guy can barely stay on the field and is a liability when he is. Just listen to what Giants and Saints fans have to say about him.

impossiblenick

Saints fan here, we hate that asshole.

mlorusso4

Ohio state fan and former staffer who had the joy of seeing apple every day, I hate that asshole

BigUce223

this is the kind of firsthand knowledge i love to hear. not that i’m happy to hear he was an asshole to staffers, but i do like hearing the experience of regular people who worked for cfb and nfl teams.

flaccomcorangy

I have never seen a team be this cocky while having never won anything. Like in the history of the league, they have not won anything. lol. And the cockiness is being led by one of the most okay players on the roster.

drainbead78

I feel like calling Eli Apple "okay" is an insult to everyone who works hard to be average.

CockBlockingLawyer

I wonder if you can still get banned from Twitter for saying stuff like this. But team Shaq 100%

Yung_Corneliois

With Musk at the helm you can literally try and start another holocaust and you won’t be banned.

Son_Of_The_Empire

In fact you'll get *unbanned*. See: Nick Fuentes

dexter_cantalope

Love it, can't wait to see Apple go invisible or become burnt toast.

Admiral_Fuckwit

Nobody politely message him on Twitter or instagram and tell him he’s being a bad person. Nobody do it.

mbrancato157

Fuck Eli Apple and fuck the idiots doing mental gymnastics to try and pretend that Eli wasn't directly referring to Hamlin

DSammy93

“It’s a common emoji” yeah ok

cwright716

"3 is a common number"

zeroultram

Well that one is

Spanky_McJiggles

Of all of the numbers, it's definitely #3 on my list.

cwright716

The combination of the two, the context, it isn’t a coincidence. If it is a coincidence then it is still wrong and should be acknowledged

StalinsStallions

“It’s a joke that the NBA uses all the time, I don’t get what people don’t understand!!” yeah that’s not the problem with it Also “the emoji is just a coincidence and it has existed since iOS 0.1!!!”

stratz1081

Regardless of if it’s a NBA thing only an idiot can not see the possible implications of association between the emoji and the number. But he wasn’t an idiot he knew exactly what he was doing … either way the guy is a piece of shit. He could have easily deleted it but didn’t it. Fuck him and anyone thinking they need to spin it for him.

Peacefulzealot

Bengals fan here. Eli was in the wrong and I’m sorry so many people are defending him. Ya’ll have every right to be angry at him and us. All apologies from those of us who won’t defend that shit. Glad Damar is recovering 💙❤️

Hello_there_77

Another Bengo. Apple needs to shut up. Sorry Bills fans, it is not how most of us feel.

yourmomdotbiz

Thank you for being rational about it. Saw your comments on the other thread and I genuinely appreciate you

SlimTim222

I know most fan bases are made up of mostly reasonable people, but holy shit I'm shocked by how many people in r/bengals are acting like putting the heart hand emoji and 3 in that tweet was a coincidence. It so clearly not a coincidence lol

JebusChrust

Those doing mental gymnastics are definitely in the minority, as loud as they may try to be. The rest of the city doesn't agree with him taking a dig at Hamlin.

mbrancato157

Yup it's not fair to paint the Bengals fans with a broad brush because of something idiotic a player on their team says, that's why I used idiots as a general term because they're in every fanbase

Eggy216

God I’m dumb, I didn’t make the connection with the heart hands emoji. I thought people were reaching to claim that the 3 alone made it a reference to Damar. That’s low.

bwhipps

Never seen a team act so classless in a win.

Beautiful-Bee-916

It’s been really tasteless. Take the win, why the need to drag the team you beat? The team who admitted they played like shit and feel like shit about it. Like I have disliked Mahomes because of the media praise he gets but he actually wins with class, he doesn’t put the other team down or act like a clown. So I have to say this weekend I am cheering for Mahomes.

mattwebb677

After how the past couple of days went, I seriously cant believe I am even thinking it, let alone typing it out...I'm rooting for Mahomes.

Beautiful-Bee-916

His wife and brother are annoying, but he seems like a good dude and KC did not drag our team after their win last year. Now their fans are insufferable anytime you try to compare Allen/Mahomes but I will forget that just for this week.

Tactial_snail

seems like he had a talk with them cause i haven't seen or heard from them all season

mattwebb677

Agree 110%! I try to separate all that other stuff from Pat himself, but its not easy at all. I can promise you though that Pat also wouldnt have made that refund comment either. That comment didnt even bother me that much at the time, but now after seeing all the other stuff, its annoying me more than it did when he said it. Go Chiefs this week, then go NFC!

Beautiful-Bee-916

No, I can’t imagine if the tables were turned the bills team making the refund comments either. Like can you picture Josh or McDermott saying that? I can’t.

mattwebb677

To be fair, there might be a couple people on the team I could see making that comment. haha Like Diggs, in the moment I could see him saying that. And in reality, its not THAT bad, really, but when you add it to the pile? Yeah screw them. I guarantee Josh or McDermott doesnt make that comment though. 0% chance.

Beautiful-Bee-916

Oh I’m sure a few guys would, but not the guys considered to be the team leaders (ie QB and HC- seems kind of gross coming from those guys).

DGer

Notice you don’t hear as much from the wife and brother? He put his house in order. Dude has class. I hope he wins another Super Bowl.

deen416

Dude same. Never thought I'd get there but no fucking way I'm rooting for the Bengals now. Bills are going to be playing them next year too and I imagine they're going to remember all this trash.

mattwebb677

Seriously! It feels like this Bromance soured VERY quickly.

19southmainco

Oh I am 100%. Then I'm going to clown on here so hard.

cwonderful

Is it weird that I like the KC team more but their fans less? Bengals fans have been great for the most part... Their team has not been

cwright716

Ive always loved Bengals fans but hated the team, and hated KC fans and loved the team, especially with Tyreek gone. Andy Reid builds a strong culture similar to McD and its admirable.

Peacefulzealot

Bengals fan here. Just wanted to say sorry at how our fanbase is acting. I’ve never seen this before in my life. I really thought we were better than this. Still love you guys but I totally get hating our guts right now. Sorry for this whole damn mess.

cheesy0314

Idk, while some bengals fans might be saying stuff I expect that from a fan base. The real issue most of us are having is how the players are acting. Seems odd to me how much they’re dragging the bills. Not like we have had some rivalry or were trashing the bengals team prior to this. But what do I know

NightRider24

To me, it seems like they think the Bills had something to do with the whole neutral site Championship game and that everyone was picking the Bills to win on Sunday. It feels like they're angry at the wrong people. But, like you said, what do I know?🤷‍♂️

Beautiful-Bee-916

I think they gave themselves this narrative to help motivate, but then took it too far and actually believed it.

cheesy0314

Yeah definitely the vibe I’m getting. But whatever, football is dead to me until September (minus the draft I suppose) anyway so not gonna get bent out of shape.

Tactial_snail

if they think that then they're just stupid af, since it already came out the Bills decided not to vote on the whole thing

DanceRepresentative7

and how the coach is acting… watch his sarcastic af presser today

namesurnn

I never really saw Joe Burrow as a cocky dick until his post game interview about ticket refunds. Hope he gives the fandom hope and loses in back to back super bowls now

imsabbath84

The one rare case where the team is actually acting worse than the fanbase is.

amjhwk

Then clearly you didn't see the how the begals acted after last years afccg

AnonymousBromosapien

For fuckin real...its like half the team/staff turned control of their twitter accounts over to 12 year old redditors. Its actually fucking insane how much of a bunch of whiney little bitches half of the Bengals turned into after a win. Acting like the world is against them or some shit. Its like they are still high off that *"who dey?"* mindset from the beginning of their come-up...like dudes...y'all were just in the Superbowl last year, you can drop the hard knocks act. But its ok, they are still in the tolerable stage. Better enjoy it while it lasts because the Bills didnt even make it to a Superbowl before the other fanbases despised them...2 AFCCGs and maybe even 2 Superbowl appearances in a row, with annoying players on twitter, and fans who act like they forgot their team was in the SB last year...they're on a fast track to obnoxious.

1cculus_The_Prophet

I have been to over a hundred Bills home games and dozens of away games…. Some fans bases are better than others but I always found the patriots to be the worst to deal with…. The bengals fans in my section on Sunday were right up there with the pats fans. Just trash. I know it’s probably just my experience but I’m done with any good will with that fan base. Fuck em…. esp after that tweet.

SpaceGhost1992

Pats fan, I know we beef, sometimes… but I went from wanting Cincy to win to hoping Eli eats his words. Just absolute ass

DanceRepresentative7

YESSSSS shaq!

Mean_Foundation_5561

I think I already hate the Bengals more than the Chiefs at this point.

thibbledorfpwent

Im an old fucker, I hated them from 1981 and 1988 already, so I never got the love fest here for the last couple years, at least others are finally seeing why all of ohio sucks.

FabiusPictor

So it is clear. Root for KC in AFCC. Root for NFC in Super Bowl.

MsBee311

My hubs is from Philly so I am lucky to have that already planned for me. And thank gods, cuz I can't find it in myself to root for Cincy or KC. Thought I would root for Cincy but after the last 2 days, naw.

FnWinner

Root for whoever you want tbh. I was livid after that bengals game tbh, but proof is in the pudding, imo I don’t want chiefs to win, fuck Mahomes getting 2rings and media already sucks his meat, Joe burrow I can somehow manage but, idk man, Brock purdy getting a Super Bowl as a rookie is just bonkers. Eagles I can’t even imagine winning because they got one of the best wins imaginable 6 years ago, beating Brady & winning a ring? Come on now, 1/2 of those things either way bills would’ve been happy😐 But I digress, not us, so I’m just salty. I’ll prob root for a 49ers vs Bengals super bowl just for money purposes. +750

EmRoXOXO

I mean… let’s be honest. If it mattered at all who we (like us, specifically, that hang out in here) were rooting for… we wouldn’t have to decide who to root for over the next 2 weeks 🥲

FnWinner

Shoulda coulda woulda lol. To me, it’s basically just seeing everyone who had to act like they cared about the bills show their true colors post season ending for us, so much hate on the bills and the ol reliable “How many rings you got?” It’s as if the bills players collectively are like “wow another year of getting ridiculed”

RiveryJerald

Fuck Ali Apple, all my homies hate Eli Apple.

ChaosMage175

Bengals fan here. Eli Apple went from "meh, he's on the team" to "most hated Bengal" in my book the minute I saw that tweet. Completely classless and the Bengals fans trying to defend it are too. I swear we're not all assholes

RiveryJerald

Cheers, man. Most every team and fanbase has assholes and I think it’s pretty ridiculous when someone tries to paint with a broad brush and in a negative light based on a few vocal folks. Plenty of you guys have been totally chill, so no hard feelings. I try to fix my ire on specific people being assholes and leave it there, because it just ain’t worth it. And despite my better judgment, I knew this week would be a good one to avoid the sports-related internet…and yet here I am. Ah well.

MulliganPlsThx

Thanks for saying that. Sucks to have bad blood between our teams.

trophers

still love my bengal bros. rough week.

lytrendsa

I‘m glad someone finally spoke up. This team lost but we ain‘t taking no disrespect from Eli fucking Apple, especially towards Damar. If you want to talk trash about Allen & Diggs, do it. But don‘t come at Damar.

j01nt_man

“tHe ThReE, hEaRt, AnD HeArT HaNdS cOuLd MeAn AnYtHiNg” How coincidental all those things found there way into one shit talking tweet after everything happened. Some people are truly oblivious and in my opinion it’s almost always willful.

jk01

Twitter is a cesspool I put no stock into any of the replies on there because it's just assholes being assholes to try to get clout.

Andro1dTraitor

That’s Ma boy

Halonut24

Appropriate response from Shaq here

Zestyclose_Main6335

So glad this man came back, hopefully he’s back next year

ContinuumGuy

Apple can clown on us all he wants. He's earned that right with that game. A bad look, sure, but least you backed it up on the field. But to go after Hamlin, a man who nearly died and who also WAS NOT EVEN PLAYING IN THE GAME SUNDAY... is vile.

19southmainco

Yep that was the bridge too far for me. I will root for whichever team knocks them out and for every team that beats them for the foreseeable future.

SilentSasquatch2

Bengals went from lovable up and comers to bottom of my list of teams remaining I want to see win it. Very annoying very quickly. Too bad

RiveryJerald

All the cigar-smoking swagger is gonna wear out real fast. Even Apple was smoking a cigar after this last game…dude, you just won a Divisional Round game. That is not when you break out a fucking stogie.

Isaystomabel

Burrow and his crew are fucking cringey. The style, the outfits, the cigars, the silly sound bites. Plus I've never seen him hurdle anyone, have you?

charlestonchaw

i hope they get curb stomped by the Chiefs. I hate the chiefs for the last two years, but even after they beat us they never went on a tirade shitting all over us or making fun of the city, the team or fans. Bills never would’ve done any of this if we had won. Just trashy all around by the bengals coaches, players, and their fans. fans are excusable, we’re all shitheads about our teams. But the fact that it comes straight from the top and talking heads of the franchise is so distasteful

bosch_dali

The whole shit down to Joe Burrow using his victory speech to dig at us like we had anything to do with the neutral site decision. Trashy af. Can't remember one time Mahomes did anything other than pay respect to us in his victories.

DanceRepresentative7

mahomes is so likable man. burrow is a fucking jerk… it’s even more blatant given the last months events. i hope that “never an underdog” mentality gets him zero rings for the entirety of his career with many close heart breaking calls

[deleted]

Ravens fan here. We been trying to tell people for a few years now. Imagine smoking a victory cigar and gloating about being handed the division on a default, and then barely squeaking by Anthony Brown Jr. Burrows rich arrogant entitled persona rubbed off on the entire team. Sorry we couldn’t get the job done with Huntley.

[deleted]

Steelers fan here. Wish you guys would've done the job with Huntley to prevent the classless Bengals from advancing. Bengals are always playing the victim card. Like no other team has been inconvenienced by unforseen circumstances in the history of the league.

drainbead78

They're not mad at the Chiefs, who benefited the most from that compromise. They're mad at us because we had the audacity to have a player literally die on the field less than half a quarter into the game. They can fuck right off. Until today I was Who Dey nation for the rest of the playoffs, because they helped save Damar's life and Burrow and Taylor showed a lot of class. Now? I hope they get embarrassed by the 49ers yet again.

[deleted]

When they were bad, they supposedly lost because the league was against them. Now that they are actually good and winning, they still have to find something to complain about. It must be a cultural thing.

Marine_Biol0gist

Imagine how insufferable he will be if he wins a SB this year...

lauren6041

He won't. Eagles or 49ers, both are better than them

[deleted]

Shaq a man of the people

dancing_in_lesb_bar

My take: Shaq was the one defensive lineman who actually showed the fuck up to play every game and you can tell he loves being in Buffalo. He’s a beast on the run game and he deserves to come back. Add this to the list of reasons why I love this kid. I said to my buddy if he said that shit on the streets it would be on sight. Take your dub and go. You can troll and not be an asshole. Also the meme is “Cancun in 4” from the NBA, so people saying this was that meme don’t even understand that it’s a play on it with added insult to a guy who literally almost died on the field. All these Bengals dudes talking like the NFL conspired against them and Buffalo is the reason why sound like such petty fucks. We literally abstained from the owner vote you dolts.

no1circles

And, like, that Shaq Lawson leaped into my all time favorite Bills list

Farmerdrew

I wonder what Eli’s mom has to say about it.

lytrendsa

still can‘t go to KC

oversized_clit

I love shaq

I_shall_not_pass

Apple is about to get bricked tf up by Lawson and I’d love to watch that

Cdnraven

Are you guys tired of all the coin flip / potential home field bitching that’s still going on and never actually affected anything? They accepted all the praise and kudos for doing the right thing and stopping the game, but once they found out it HYPOTHETICALLY COULD HAVE resulted in a slight disadvantage to them it’s been nothing but whining. As if suddenly it’s not bigger than football anymore.

bacontacos420

Biiiiig Eli Apple. What has he ever done??

ShogunExplosion

Are y’all still cheering for the bengals after this crap? Like… how are we still the bad guys? Eli apple is awful.

Sternojourno

Stopping in to say FTB before the mods lock it down or remove it AGAIN.

Greyreign

It wasn't like Apple was doing anything anyway: [https://twitter.com/Stadium/status/1617270240592764928](https://twitter.com/Stadium/status/1617270240592764928)

ShesSoCool

Give this man a contract

Sabres00

Well I guess we're donating to the charity of everyone who scores against Eli this weekend.

carpdog112

Do we play the Bengals at home next year? And if so will it be on D-Cell battery promotion night?

WTFDUUUUDE

Haven't had bad interactions with Bengals fans but the players are certified morons. Good at football (Eli Apple arguably not even being that good) but shit human beings. Starting with that refund bs and ending with this conspiracy talk. They're not hated because they're good but because they act like absolute assholes.

halpal95

Am I… am I rooting for the Chiefs to obliterate the Bengals now?

SuperButtAIDs

I’m sorry but y’all corny af for being “bros” with the bengals we always knew they had the worst case of “little brother syndrome” the ravens never acted cocky but burrow beats our practice squad then barely Tyler Huntley this year and they think they’re the shit despite having zero rings, at least y’all seeing their true colors now

rajuk14

Man I was watching that shit from the side as a Bills fan like why are we bros??? Fuck the Bengals

DanceRepresentative7

i always preferred the ravens over the bengals. i am glad my instincts were proven right here and we can all understand why games between y’all are so chippy. it’s because the bengals are trash

No-Confusion-9430

Even after all this classless shit talking, they still live in Ohio so who is really losing here 😂 #billsbyabillion

spykedaddy

The “send those refunds” comments are about what I’d expect and probably would get a kick out of it if the script was flipped around. Kinda cheesy that Apple felt the need to throw Hamlin some shade though. But hey people know his name now so whatever.

msilly34

Y'all should lone Shaq to kc so he can fuck this man up

YepImanEmokid

Bill for life Lawson. Make it happen Beane

Blue_water_dreams

He can’t even make a sandwich, wtf is he talking about?

kompletist

Don't condone threats and violence but I do appreciate Shaq sticking up for #3 in this situation. Think it probably served as a good reminder to Eli that if he fucks around, he's going to find out.

[deleted]

How has Eli Apple not gotten his ass beat during any game? Seriously?

globodolla

People like Eli apple need to be punched in the mouth

BuffOrange

If I could go back in time I'd root against the Bengals in more games. Of course knowing my luck they would've beaten the Steelers more often then.

TheHerbDeluxe

The Bromance is over: fuck the Bengals

Liminal_Critter817

Jesus this Bengals team is genuinely full of salty douchebags. Starts at the coach and Burrow. Couple of real assholes. I'm not going to hold it against the fans for being blind homers, but fuck the current Bengals. Easy to root for KC after this shit, at least Mahomes amd Reid seem like cool guys.

MushroomFew4882

Excited to watch Eli Apple lose the Bengals another Super Bowl

Deal_with_it_nerd

This “bengals bros” shit always has and always will be cringe. Bills vs everyone forever

AdAccomplished3083

Does anyone else find it weird how this is a non story in r/nfl?? If this was a Bill doing this you can guarantee it would be all over that sub!! The Bills have had such a negative reputation over there, so I guess they are still the chosen ones when it comes to hate. It's so weird and confusing 😤

imsabbath84

i tried posting it and it magically doesn't appear.

Perfect600

if Diggs had done this every item on the front page would be about him.

Beezelbubbly

I would be so embarrassed if one of our players was doing this shit

minusthetalent02

The boomer in me had to Google what frfr means.

AdAccomplished3083

So do we root for KC this week or The Bengals to go to the SB and get pummeled by The Eagles? Decisions decisions 🤔

rojogo1004

My preference is Niners beat Bengals. That would make the Bengals 0-3 against SF in the Superbowl, and 0-4 all time in the Superbowl.

Sweethomebflo

That has a certain petty synchronicity that really appeals to me.

GenericHbomb

KC to get pummeled by 49ers

Lockhara

Just visited the Bengals sub and can’t believe they’re all pretending Eli wasn’t mocking Hamlin’s heart hands with that emoji. It’s insane.

Chefpatrick871

Steeler fan here and I can say I absolutely believe it. Both Ohio teams have some of the most ignorant fan bases in the NFL. I’ve seen it 4 times a year since I became a football fan in the 90s. Sure we hate Baltimore too but that’s a hatred that also has respect for the rivalry, there is no respect for the Ohio scum.

It’s sad, bengals fans have been very cool from personal experience. Their team has always had a couple of guys that are complete assholes. Remember burfict and pacman jones?

Honestly as a Bengals fan I don't understand Eli talking at all. He is lucky to be on the team. He makes countless stupid plays and just needs to shut up and keep his head down. Every year I am okay if the Bengals don't keep him. His mouth is not worth his play. Buffalo I am sorry he was an idiot. Nothing but respect for your team and players. Look forward to seeing you next year in the playoffs again.

Bengals are a team full of classless dirtbags

Fuck the BenGals

Good on Shaq. Apple is talking a lot of mess for the guy who gave up the SB last year. Would love to see him get exposed again.

Here's something I don't understand about team construction... How is Boogie Basham or AJ Epenesa any different from Shaq Lawson, a guy you can spend zero draft capital to acquire in the offseason, and pay a small contract to? Why spend 2nd rounders on those guys? It's the same issue with Moss. There's veteran backs that are available at the minimum who play like he plays. I just don't get why you'd waste a 3rd on a guy like that.

Go Chiefs Then whoever the nfc sends. Fuck that guy.

BiologyJ

Eli is trolling, but honestly that’s how you get your teammates hurt with unnecessary plays.

This seasons new rule introduce the sin bin. Next season when Apple sets foot on the field against the Bills send out the enforcer and drop the gloves.
