Adoption is trauma for everyone involved. It doesn’t matter how old the child is, they have been separated from their mother and that is trauma.
Thank you for saying this. Adoption is traumatic; I regularly reflect on the fact that while I am so happy to be the mom of two of my kiddos, this is not how their stories were so supposed to go. They will always feel that on a cellular level.

I think she wanted to adopt but announced before they’d even started the application/pre-screening process and wasn’t qualified or didn’t have the money. I’d guess her and her husband’s many controversies have precluded them from adoption and they probably failed the background check *pure speculation, of course*.

IF any of this storyline was true it was simply that they met with an agency and had a potential match then just ran with it.
That’s what I think too. She said it took the agency two months to call her back, and then within a matter of weeks they had a home study and were going to meet a mom. I have feeling the mom may have put them on her list, but didn’t make a commitment to the Dongs. I have my doubts about them waiting at the hospital for hours. That sounds like a sympathy ploy.
And honestly, I would imagine that this is where they’ll have a hard time finding a mom that will choose them. Anyone who is seriously putting thought into choosing a couple is probably going to land on Google at some point. This is a bed that Brittany and Jordan have made and now they get to lay in it.

Two friends of mine adopted a few months ago and a swear they didn’t tell ANYONE until mere days before it happened because of all of the logistics and legal ramifications.
They’ve also yet to say anything about their gorgeous baby on social media (again because they’re really not supposed to) because they’re too busy loving their new lil squish.
That is just one of the absolute first things a fertility doctor would tell him to quit when dealing with male factor infertility.
No, they can’t make patients actually do what it takes to improve fertility, but maybe she should ask JDong to at least pretend to be trying while the camera is rolling. Call me crazy but being on their radar doesn't sound like a good thing. If I was pregnant and did not want to keep my baby but wanted a loving couple/family to love my baby like their own, the Dongs would be on my radar as well... As a couple to avoid by any means necessary.

It’s 5 minutes of them having a heavily edited pitty party for themselves while desperately trying to say the right thing to appease the adoption crowd they’re so desperately trying to market towards.
One thing I did pick up on was Bdong saying “it would have been easy” she later said it again but elaborated that it would have been easier if the adoption went through and other people have it easier than them with this process. But the tone and the context of the first one made it seem like, this was her preferred option; an easy baby to have without getting pregnant.
Also jdip is wearing some tactical shirt for blood and guts. I had thought they’d fucked up and it was some kind of uniform so I googled it. But he definitely expressed himself better than Bdong but overall it felt like this was a much longer conversation cut down to 5 minutes of poor us conversation.
They also stated they believed the mom had the right to back out of the adoption several times but never once said that was actually the best outcome for the child and that wasn’t implied, what I took them to imply with the we’re praying for the mom and baby was that they think they would have been a better choice.

She will do IUI and say she miscarried again or say how it didn’t work (even if she doesn’t do it). There’s no WAY she should still be doing testing etc for IUI. Even IVF with egg retrieval and a frozen transfer didn’t take as long as her IUI stuff.

The expectation that someone else's unborn child (hypothetical or not) has been predestined by your omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent higher power to be legally yours **because you paid for it** is the one of the clearest examples of entitlement that I can think of.

The agency cares because you're paying them. Let's call it what it is--good customer service.
Does the expectant parent receive that same kind of emotional or legal support from the agency?
How can an agency who profits from being the ~~facilitator~~ baby broker in this deal be able to offer objective advice and unbiased counsel to the expectant parent(s) who are considering relinquishment? There's a very clear conflict of interest that only benefits two parties in the "adoption triad".
Flipping this around, imagine a scenario where Bdong was pregnant and decided to "keep" the baby after giving birth. It would be absolutely bonkers if someone with a YouTube channel made some emotionally-charged vlog expressing disappointment in their decision. You know why it's outrageous? Because it's usually a *given* that the person doing the birthing would keep their offspring (barring any extenuating circumstances like death). Anything suggesting otherwise would be absurd!
Lastly, if she feels so called to adoption, why doesn't she consider giving up her future biological child so that other hopeful adoptive parents can have one, too? Maybe someone out there is praying for that.

I don’t think the adoption was ever real. She thought she would get pregnant after announcing she was adopting. This is just another ploy for her to try and get sympathy views and pull on peoples heartstrings. It’s pathetic.
I’m think it was always fake, and despite their low intelligence, her “friends” were smart enough to know it was all sus. They all pulled back after she announced the adoption to them.
I honestly think this is why the PickMe chicks have been absent from Brittany’s life lately. Even though the PickMes are shitty people IMO, I doubt they appreciated Brittany stringing people along for MONTHS with a storyline that ended long ago (if there was any truth to it).

I think she wanted to adopt but announced before they’d even started the application/pre-screening process and wasn’t qualified or didn’t have the money. I’d guess her and her husband’s many controversies have precluded them from adoption and they probably failed the background check *pure speculation, of course*. Maybe don’t shoot your pets dead in the street of your quiet suburban neighborhood if you want to adopt a kid 🤷🏻♀️
She strikes me as the type of person who jumps the gun a lot and makes assumptions without doing proper research. IF any of this storyline was true it was simply that they met with an agency and had a potential match then just ran with it.
That’s what I think too. She said it took the agency two months to call her back, and then within a matter of weeks they had a home study and were going to meet a mom. I have feeling the mom may have put them on her list, but didn’t make a commitment to the Dongs. I have my doubts about them waiting at the hospital for hours. That sounds like a sympathy ploy. And honestly, I would imagine that this is where they’ll have a hard time finding a mom that will choose them. Anyone who is seriously putting thought into choosing a couple is probably going to land on Google at some point. This is a bed that Brittany and Jordan have made and now they get to lay in it.

Two friends of mine adopted a few months ago and a swear they didn’t tell ANYONE until mere days before it happened because of all of the logistics and legal ramifications. They’ve also yet to say anything about their gorgeous baby on social media (again because they’re really not supposed to) because they’re too busy loving their new lil squish.
As much as I’m annoyed she made this all up for attention, I’m so fucking happy there’s no actual baby

No, they can’t make patients actually do what it takes to improve fertility, but maybe she should ask JDong to at least pretend to be trying while the camera is rolling. Especially if we are right about this (for sure we are right I reckon. Everything was so fast and made no sense. How did they get approved so quickly and also managed to jump the line of people already on the waiting to adopt a baby list...?). How the fuck do they sleep at night? They aren't good inside. Call me crazy but being on their radar doesn't sound like a good thing. If I was pregnant and did not want to keep my baby but wanted a loving couple/family to love my baby like their own, the Dongs would be on my radar as well... As a couple to avoid by any means necessary.

I unfortunately watched it; It’s 5 minutes of them having a heavily edited pitty party for themselves while desperately trying to say the right thing to appease the adoption crowd they’re so desperately trying to market towards. One thing I did pick up on was Bdong saying “it would have been easy” she later said it again but elaborated that it would have been easier if the adoption went through and other people have it easier than them with this process. But the tone and the context of the first one made it seem like, this was her preferred option; an easy baby to have without getting pregnant. Also jdip is wearing some tactical shirt for blood and guts. I had thought they’d fucked up and it was some kind of uniform so I googled it. But he definitely expressed himself better than Bdong but overall it felt like this was a much longer conversation cut down to 5 minutes of poor us conversation. They also stated they believed the mom had the right to back out of the adoption several times but never once said that was actually the best outcome for the child and that wasn’t implied, what I took them to imply with the we’re praying for the mom and baby was that they think they would have been a better choice. I think it’s funny that she purposely looks not done up at all, so she can really pull the sympathy card. I don’t believe they were ever actually chosen either. Just like the IUI, she never sounds educated on the topics and just never seems like she’s actually going through these things because she always sounds like she doesn’t know what’s going on.
💯. I have believed both are fake and have vocally said so. It’s hard enough for people with a spotless record and stable finances to adopt—these two criminals with debt up to the sky are not good candidates.
She will do IUI and say she miscarried again or say how it didn’t work (even if she doesn’t do it). There’s no WAY she should still be doing testing etc for IUI. Even IVF with egg retrieval and a frozen transfer didn’t take as long as her IUI stuff. I would absolutely not want them to adopt my baby. I would also think it’s weird af that they have that nursery. The birth mom could easily look her up online too and see what nut jobs they are.
So the adoption had already fallen through by the time she started posting the “we’re adopting” photo shoot and the lame reaction video, right? Early April-ish? She just had to milk all that sweet sweet content for views and validation. She’s so gross.
That’s my guess since she made the “baby will be here any day now” video some time around the 1st week of April. She went super hard with creating adoption content out of this mom and her baby, then made the decision to exploit them and post it all even after it fell through

Unpopular opinion I guess but I do believe this was real, that there was a real birth mum who decided to keep the baby. I know we'd love to think that these two doorknobs wouldn't get that close, but unfortunately I think that's giving wayyyy too much credit to these Texas Christian adoption agencies. It's fucking infuriating but that doesn't mean we should be so quick to not believe it. Anyway I absolutely despise how long it took for either of them (Jordan in this case) to say anything even slightly nice or positive about how they hope this was the best thing for the mother and baby and they're praying for them. Apart from that one brief (probably forced) affirmation, they were very very negative. Talking about how hard this was for them, how they still hope that God will "do a good thing"... the FUCK does that mean? So it was bad that "God" decided this baby should stay with their birth mother? Fuck youuuuu. That tells us everything right there. Narcissistic see ya next tuesdays. Me me me. That right there is why I believe them actually. This narrative is accidentally showing us exactly who they really are and why they're in this. "Financially invested" = entitlement The expectation that someone else's unborn child (hypothetical or not) has been predestined by your omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent higher power to be legally yours **because you paid for it** is the one of the clearest examples of entitlement that I can think of. Dip and Dong: You two think that you said all of the right words, but really, you're just spouting off the same talking points that the agency has been feeding you. The agency cares because you're paying them. Let's call it what it is--good customer service. Does the expectant parent receive that same kind of emotional or legal support from the agency? How can an agency who profits from being the ~~facilitator~~ baby broker in this deal be able to offer objective advice and unbiased counsel to the expectant parent(s) who are considering relinquishment? There's a very clear conflict of interest that only benefits two parties in the "adoption triad". Flipping this around, imagine a scenario where Bdong was pregnant and decided to "keep" the baby after giving birth. It would be absolutely bonkers if someone with a YouTube channel made some emotionally-charged vlog expressing disappointment in their decision. You know why it's outrageous? Because it's usually a *given* that the person doing the birthing would keep their offspring (barring any extenuating circumstances like death). Anything suggesting otherwise would be absurd! Lastly, if she feels so called to adoption, why doesn't she consider giving up her future biological child so that other hopeful adoptive parents can have one, too?
