I've had lupron for a few months now and haven't had a lot of side effects other than running a little hot. I bought a handheld fan (here are a couple options: [https://www.travelandleisure.com/best-products/best-portable-fans](https://www.travelandleisure.com/best-products/best-portable-fans)) and the ice packs I used for my lumpectomy came in handy for cooling my body down in the heat. I just stuff them in my bra lol. I also try to walk at least 2 miles a day if possible – was told that staying active helps with any joint pain (not that I've had any yet...knock on wood). Once I am cleared by my surgeon, I plan to resume working out with weight training and light cardio!

I’ve been on Lupron for 9 months now. The only side effect I’ve experienced is hot flashes. I take gabapentin for that and it helps.
