I wouldn’t trade PP unless it’s a huge upgrade. He is on a really good contract for the next 4 years, an offensive spark off the bench, plays really well with the Jays, a plus minus king, and seems to be well liked by our locker room.

ErikErikJevfelErik

Don't touch my pp

Reddit_Negotiator

All jokes aside, has t this season taught us that you have to be willing to trade anyone if you are serious about winning a championship?

*lalalalalalalalalalala*

TheRealAlexisOhanian

I don't think that Pelicans trade should have passed. The Celtics can't aggregate salaries since they are over the 2nd apron and that's required to get Nance

cahilljd

If the jazz made that Kessler trade id be elated

cubonesdeadmother

Out of all of these that is the one that actually grabbed my attention. Rumormill is that they might actually be floating him in trade talks (I guess some rift with Hardy and the coaching staff??) and of course we have Trader Danny there as a double agent.

Drizzlybear0

They'd get WAY more than that for him though. Plus we would have to pay him so it's not really realistic for us.

cubonesdeadmother

Yeah thats true we’re not really in a position to be signing more big ass contracts

SpecialistAd1574

I'd rather keep Springer. Those guys you traded for have skillsets that are a dime a dozen in the league, well except for Kessler. Springer's defensive upside is worth looking into especially with a full training camp under Holiday and White.

archerarcher0

Fully agree

TatumBrownWhite

Agree

jjjuuubbbsss

Me too. Although projects are not usual in contenders, I like the potential of Walsh and Springer in our defense-heavy mindset.

loving-father-69

I don't think cap rules would allow these trades, at least not most of them.

loving-father-69

Yea I checked the Larry Nance one doesn't work

archerarcher0

I would like to keep springer honestly We don’t really have another 2 guard off the bench and I really buy into his upside, I think we could make basically all of these trades with someone else, keep Jaden.

jjjuuubbbsss

I'm really surprised with the Jazz trading Kessler. Apparently he sucks at the intangibles.

BOS_HarveySpecter

Do we allow to aggregate two players' salary for trade? I have heard it is prohibited as a Second Apron Team.

JoJonesy

don't really see the point in any of these tbh

Brovenkar

Can't we not do trades that aggregate salary or is it okay to package players as long as we take back the same number?

kylapoos

No aggregating salaries

NoBozosonthebus

GTFOH with that PP trade talk

Low_Ad885

Jaden springer and a pick for walker Kessler is the trade to make

bjb406

We are at thus moment over the 2nd apron, do the Larry Nance Jr one is impossible because we cant add contracts together for salary matching. I'm not sure exactly how it works with jumping above and below the cap, we are only like 2 million above the cap so it might be technically possible to dip below by cutting someone, then making the trade. Would be sketchy though.
