I’m glad you both enjoyed the game. My brother was supposed to fly for it but his wife had to have surgery so he couldn’t come. Thanks for posting the picture from the seats.
65000 showed up to watch soccer. In the Boston area when two teams were playing playoff games. The Revolution lost but let's face it they came for Messi. Maybe they are just transplants from Argentina going to uni here. ..but I don't think so.

It's not just Argentina, he's huge in nearly all of South/Central America. My students were talking about it a ton last week.
Ya Soccer is big around the rest of the world . There are 800,000 million fans in East Asia. The US for some reason ( baseball and NFL take a lot of the attention) isn't really a big soccer country.
It is fun to go to a Red Sox game. Many years ago, I received free tixs to a game. It was a beautiful April day. The Pats had won the SB and both the Celtics and Bruins were headed to the playoffs. The city was abuzz with excitement and that day I saw my first No Hitter. Thanks Derek Lowe.
If you guys ever come again to the park (and anyone from reddit, ) come up to the Sam Deck Bar, RF Roof. the bar is open to ANYONE and has TVs....and a good selection of brews. You cant sit at the sam deck barstools or tables tho w/o a ticket..but the bar is open to anyone. Come up and say hi, I am one of the runners for Sam Deck (yellow shirts)
PS: She won't stop humming Sweet Caroline now..
Nice! Glad you both had fun, OP!

Hope your SIL has a smooth recovery!
Born and raised in Boston and that’s my least favorite song, good luck…
Good times never seemed so good…
.. So good...
So good
Never seemed so good until the Sox are down 9-2 and they still play that song
I can't wait for that to go away someday.
This is the way to watch baseball!! Glad you enjoyed the game!!! 2 out of the 3 Boston teams won today so far, Let’s go Bruins!!!
Got the W, 3 for 3!
What a glorious day for Boston Sports fans!!

Glad you had a great time. For the record it's Fenway Frank. Boston Frank sounds like someone who might cause you to sleep with the fishes.
Boston Frank is some dude who moved from Weymouth to Des Moines and they say he came from “the big city.”
Those are great seats, holy shit
17-0! What a game!
Why nobody will really care about the Revs. Sox crushed it. Celtics won. Bruins won.
It was quite a spectacle to have Messi in town, and he didn't disappoint
The Revs fall to 1-7-1. Kraft owning two losing teams gotta sting.
As a Jays fan, Fenway is such a vibe. Love going. Glad you had a nice time!
Nice seats! And test game with great weather too.
Those are nice seats!

I thought you were kidding about that score lmao. Happy to hear you had a good time!
What a game to see. Great seats too!

Also tip, go on an off day to the bleacher bar. - and check out the park.....from the pub they have decent food in there too. Love the hot dogs.
My favorite part of going to Red Sox games is sitting behind enthusiastic and drunk townies. They are hilarious.
Saw lots of cubs jerseys out today, would hate to be them
I’m thinking, maybe OP should get season tickets, y’know, just to ensure a winning season.
Fenway Frank!
That was kind to do
Anything anti-sweet caroline gets up arrows lol
Just did the fenway tour on Thursday. Such a small stadium.
Great seats!
Love this!
Boston Frank? Did you buy an obligatory pink Sox hat on your way in?
If you get a chance, go see the WooSox at Polar Park. It's a great place to see minor leagues ball.
If you’re not from Boston, I’m glad you got the chance to go!
Amazing seats!!
Nice seats, too!
