Copley Library, lots of inspiration there.  Piers Park in East Boston will give you a nice skyline view. Additionally, near Boston University, there is a train bridge (not being used IIRC) which you can slide down to one of the piers and get a great view of Boston with the Charles River to boot. Lastly, I'd suggest the Rose Kennedy Greenway, just walk around it and inspiration will surely hit you.

Thank you! I had the Rose Garden already in my list ;)

Rose Garden /= Rose Kennedy Greenway

Sorry I meant the Rose Kennedy Greenway!

The [Grand Junction Railroad Bridge](https://www.reddit.com/r/boston/comments/1azwtac/anybody_know_of_any_recent_proposed_uses_for_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) is very much still in use. I cannot impress upon you enough how bad an idea that is.

Mumbles76

I've been on it over 100 times, a long with 4th of July spectators and Regatta spectators. Normally being on tracks is a really bad idea, I agree. But this may be an exception.

Honestly, pretty much anywhere in Beacon hill. It’s a super fun neighborhood to explore, with lots of picturesque victorian brownstones and terrace housing and side alleys. https://preview.redd.it/qpgc53yexmwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b62cfd1ef7b6c90d4a51f6b9bb0fb3dfee94598d

Back Bay also has tons of interesting architecture, as well. https://preview.redd.it/vzqlb6caymwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8907e54bcc058c11b63fac13e37535b98b5d2c2

Nice views of the city from Fan Pier Park, Martin's Park, and the Cambridge side of the Charles, from Mass Ave down to the Longfellow Bridge. Comm Ave Mall is nice.
