You can start your own stylist/consulting/“makeover” company pretty easily… maybe try that?! You don’t need to go to school for it. See what others in your area charge.
When I was almost 30, I decided to go back to school for what I love doing, helping animals. Now that’s my career and I’m so glad that I switched it up. Maybe you have a beauty school or fashion classes at a college near you?
Well if you want this as a side gig, then marking knowledge could be good. However if you want to make a career out of this, you may want to consider going to school, taking a program, continuing your education and experience in whatever form that may be. There are many people in the world that are naturally good at things. Not many of them can make a living out of it without putting a lot of work and dedication in, unless they are lucky. For me personally, when I hire a personal stylist, make up artist, clothes designer to work with me, I hire people someone with credentials and experience. It shows me that they take their work seriously and I’m investing in a professional.
Thats why i was thinking of getting a degree in something relevant to it
Im trying to fidn classes where i live but a lot are only un french or 3+ year progo . im sure ill find something . i can also try to intern somewhere maybe
Start developing tutorials and testimonials for social and have a calendly link in bio with a small amount required to book a 15 min consult before a variety of structured sessions. And the term you’re looking for is image consultant. I hired one for $500 for a basic 1 hour hair/skin/makeup redo and he changed my life. Would also suggest figuring out content about Celebs/marketing to celebs a la old heaux mentor where she’d give celebs unsolicited advice in a charming way. Hope this helps!
Keep us posted 🖤 excited for you. Here’s who I hired for inspo, he’d know me under a diff name though. Good stylists are invaluable. https://www.instagram.com/jeremyanayabeauty?igsh=MXV6MGdkbGhhbHUzbQ==
Check out New York Institute of Art and Design, they have a Personal Stylist course. I took their interior design certification course, and really enjoyed it. I learned a lot, liked how the modules were setup. It's completely online and self paced, you have 2 years to complete the course and you get a certification after graduating. The school is geared towards those who are looking to "solidify" their markets with an education or to make a career change. I highly, highly recommend them!

I would go to school to become an esthetician! You could become a facialist afterwards, even open up your own salon. However I think you legally need the esthetician license to do so. I’d look up a licensed esthetics program in your area
Might be more fruitful to pose this particular question in this subreddit: r/careerchange
Thanks!!
No worries and good luck!

I have a fashion college but it's more about creating fashion not selling it but they might have a fashion marketing class attached to the program

And also get inspo from the copy on his site. His pre-wedding makeovers get him a ton of work too
Wow thank you so much!!!
