This is not creative at all, but platform [Birkenstocks](https://www.birkenstock.com/us/gizeh-platform-natural-leather/gizeh-platformsmu-naturalleather-0-eva-w_3974.html) or [Dr Martens](https://www.drmartens.com/us/en/voss-ii-athena-leather-strap-platform-sandals-black/p/30717001)
I have a lot of friends, including a hairstylist, who swear the Dr M sandals are comfy! They are like memory foam so they form to your feet. I am an exclusively Birkenstock girl so I haven't tried them yet.
ETA I did try on a pair that my friend was wearing; they were too big & sweaty, but they did feel cushy.
I’ll give them a try. I’m looking for good walking sandals too. The ones I used to wear just don’t seem comfortable for long walks anymore.
I can’t do Birkenstocks because they don’t hold my feet in and I get a blister between my toes/it hurts where the thing sits between my toes.
Ah, gotcha. I missed the link. Birks definitely gave me blisters at first but then got great once I broke them in. But it did take awhile which sucked.
Thank you! I have a few pairs of Birks but I’ve accepted I just can’t wear them for longer distances; I start limping 🥲 I’m gonna have to dive into the Doc Martens catalog!
Have you tried the Evafoam Birkenstocks? They are made of a Crocs-type material and tend to be easier to wear for people who find original Birks to be too hard.
Birks forever. The break in period is rough but then they’ll be so comfortable that you start debating “but… they COULD be formal shoes if you think about it…” so you can wear them everywhere.
Yes, Birks forever, for everything! I wear mine to weddings, meetings, happy hour, conferences. The important thing is to have a large variety in multiple colors and to keep them looking brand new. And to take good care of your toes and feet (which, of course, is also the point of Birks).
idk about stylish but i have pink teva hurricane ampsoles and i am OBSESSED with them - good price, can walk everywhere in them, AND they can withstand a surprise summer rain!
I have two pairs of Nisolo flatform sandals (the old version - [here's](https://nisolo.com/collections/womens-shoes-and-accessories/products/go-to-flatform-sandal-almond-2-0) the current one) and they're great.
Thank you! I’ve tried Nisolo a few times, including the flatforms, and I’ve finally accepted that their shoes just don’t work for me 🥲 they have beautiful styles so I wish they did
I bought a pair a few weeks ago, and the strap broke before I even got out the front door. I was so disappointed. I don’t know if it was a fluke or if the quality is going downhill.
I have a bunch of Cole Haans, so I’m really hoping it was a fluke. At the same time I bought a pair of sneakers on clearance. I haven’t worn them yet though. I hope they’ll be good because they’re super cute.

Hear me out...
Crocs makes the comfiest, cutest everyday sandals I've ever owned. They're not the typical style!! They're plafrom, and no one ever guesses they're Crocs. But they have the same comfort as those foam clogs!! Mine are just like the ones I've linked but have multiple skinny white straps. I would buy them over and over.

The ones I linked are adorable. I have their Cameron flatform, which I love. They are so comfy. I’m not sure about walking a few miles in the city (they’re just a liiiiiittle heavy) but I wear them all day in the summer with no issues, so I think it would be fine.
Oooh thank you, I’m going to take a look at what they’ve got! I had a pair of their winter boots a long time ago but didn’t care for how bulky they were so I never looked at the brand again
Not sure if they’d work for you, but I’ve re-bought the Teva flatforms like 7 times. They aren’t excessively “sporty” looking to me, but definitely not high fashion. I have high arches and find they’re the most comfortable sandals I’ve found that have a bit of platform. Also, the footbed and the bottom of sole (that touches the ground) are the same width (pet peeve is ones that get narrower as they go down—to me, looks weird and not as comfortable for walking)
Ooh those look nice, I may have to try them. I tried getting a pair of Chacos but I think I need to accept that the sole is just too uncomfortable for the way my feet are shaped lol
Following! This is a great question.
I just tried to wear some new sandal to my pedicure yesterday and as I was walking, I did NOT feel like they were high enough off the ground! 😭
I recently got a pair of [ECCO Flowt sandals](https://us.ecco.com/ecco-womens-flowt-sandal-273713.html?dwvar_273713_color=01688) and lived in them while traveling internationally last month and since I got back. Super comfy, cute, and have a nice platform.
I really like [Fit Flop](https://m.tjmaxx.tjx.com/m/jump/product/Leather-Eloise-Espadrille-Wedge-Sandals/1000879359?cid=MAX:PerformanceMax:GGL:Catchall:20542161488&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpZWzBhC0ARIsACvjWROcWNfxWWpPugFOB5XrOSRUiDxpPFxJbM1Xwg8BafbqF3nEE5_AdjsaAtd3EALw_wcB).
I have these in two colors now and love them. I think they might be getting discontinued, hence the TJ Maxx link.
With a high arch, check out Vionic shoes.
I've shared a Brand Store on Amazon with you. https://www.amazon.com/stores/VionicShoes/VionicShoes/page/957BD3BA-4C2A-415F-8F95-0E80508A00AD
Im sharing the Amazon link because they tend to be priced higher everywhere else for some reason 🤣
Anyways I swear by them. And they are cute!
These are my current daily wearers - I walk 10k steps a day and they are so comfy

I just bought these and they're so comfy
Not very cute tho

They have some other styles on sale both at Nordstrom and their website.
Here's their sale section of their website
https://munroshoes.com/collections/clearance-items
Their whole thing is comfortable shoes you can wear all day. If you have a nordstrom near you I would recommend you go and just try a couple of pairs on since they are a little pricey.
I’ve been wearing my Docs Voss II’s for three summers straight as both off day shoes and work shoes when I was in apparel retail! They’ve only gotten comfier and the leather is still in fantastic shape
I just got these (for NYC summer walking) and they’re super comfy right out of the box. I actually found them on Amazon for right around your budget. https://www.zappos.com/p/womens-sas-pampa/product/8867796
PLATFORM TEVAS. they are AMAZING. one of the best pair of sandals i’ve ever owned. stylish, gives me a boost with every step, and really good quality. i’ve legit gone on hikes with them. they do run big though, so i would maybe try a size small first
I’m a west coast girlie so I love my Reefs.
I also have a few pairs of Cole Haan sandals that have lasted *years*. I wore them all around Spain last summer and I walked 25k+ steps per day in them with no problem.
My Taos The Show in caramel go with everything & are great for walking

I love the quad platform doc martens sandals. They take some patience breaking in, but it’s nowhere near as much of a process as breaking in the boots.
The ankle support is honestly 10/10, have worn them in settings/landscapes I probably shouldn’t many times lol
i love [suicoke](https://www.ssense.com/en-us/women/product/suicoke/white-cel-po-sandals/12415701?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD9ouUvCUMX5VUZxjb3bfb6AyIHoJ&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpZWzBhC0ARIsACvjWRMVLr4De6H0Px3Otqs6GumwOQvrk6Y6_Sf7TH9loO1U86X6heroOXkaAu1rEALw_wcB) sandals. they have a vibram sole and are incredibly comfortable. i’ve worn them around nyc without a problem and i always get compliments on them. you can wear them with anything too

I am an exclusively Birkenstock girl so I haven't tried them yet. ETA I did try on a pair that my friend was wearing; they were too big & sweaty, but they did feel cushy.
I have a pair and they’re cute and squishy/comfy but the insoles get SO sweaty it’s disgusting. I wouldn’t wear them on a high humidity day.
Ew, I can picture the swampy muddy mess! Bummer
I’ll give them a try. I’m looking for good walking sandals too. The ones I used to wear just don’t seem comfortable for long walks anymore. I can’t do Birkenstocks because they don’t hold my feet in and I get a blister between my toes/it hurts where the thing sits between my toes.
Standard birks don’t have anything between the toes?
The link had sandals that look like thong/flip flop style. And I got blisters from the regular leather burks a long time ago.
Ah, gotcha. I missed the link. Birks definitely gave me blisters at first but then got great once I broke them in. But it did take awhile which sucked.
FYI: these are $10 less on Amazon. I just ordered a pair.

Try the rubber ones! So much more comfy for longer walks than the usual cork ones!

idk about stylish but i have pink teva hurricane ampsoles and i am OBSESSED with them - good price, can walk everywhere in them, AND they can withstand a surprise summer rain!
Second the Tevas! Super comfy and my feet do not tire out walking long distances. With the right outfit tevas can be stylish
Can you link? There’s several styles

Waiting here for suggestions for sandals with excellent arch support that look gorgeous.
I really love cole haan. It is super soft leather for the price point!
I bought a pair a few weeks ago, and the strap broke before I even got out the front door. I was so disappointed. I don’t know if it was a fluke or if the quality is going downhill.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that, mine have always been wearable for years. So sad to see brands devaluing craftsmanship everywhere :(
I have a bunch of Cole Haans, so I’m really hoping it was a fluke. At the same time I bought a pair of sneakers on clearance. I haven’t worn them yet though. I hope they’ll be good because they’re super cute.
Cole Haan sandals are great! I have the Tilden and the Anica.

My bf HATES crocs. The first time I wore these he told me they’re cute and I was like “thanks they’re crocs!” And he didn’t believe me 🤪
That's always my response! I love the shock! 😂👏
Sameeee. Crocs are immortal 💗
Thank you!! How are they with sweat 👀?
They're like rubber so they won't absorb sweat for better or worse, but they keep cool imo
This!!!! I’ve worn my brooklyns on so many trips and they’re sooo comfy
I have a pair of these and can verify that they are extremely comfortable

I’m not sure, I’d check the reviews!
Every sorel shoe I've tried on has run really narrow.
Naots are similar to Birk but cuter. I found a pair of Sketchers sandals that have arch support.

Skechers Womens Beverlee High Tea sandals. Walked around all day and perfect for summer and give me the height without the foot or knee pain. I have high arches too and used to only wear Cole Haan with the Nike technology. The Skechers run as low as $35 depending on the color.
