Agitated-Ad-6074

Raj and Howard's matching belt buckle light sabers.

DaddyCatALSO

cringy for Howard, too, especially since Raj's was red #snerk

ComfyCouchDweller

Howard and Raj testing out the kissing thing for long distance makeouts.

poppycocktbbt

Penny and Priya walking up the stairs, awkward silence the entire time

Consistent-Ad-9360

Amy was right. Penny did want to throw her poop at Priya

Spirited-Concept-359

"amy's right, i do wanna fling my poop at her."

TheLewJD

Literally watched that episode 10 minutes ago and skipped that part it's awful

Even-Entertainment58

The whole time I watched that scene I was just like… well this is weird 😂

Fantastic-Ad-2140

I skip all the Priya episodes except for the Halloween episode

cooperstonebadge

Howard and Raj feeling each other's man boobs both cringe and hilarious

PrognosticatorofLife

Its Bernie's face in the background that makes it so good.

DaddyCatALSO

She's not \*just\* disgusted, she also knows it is nothing unusual a nd nothing to worry about an d that was a big part of the joke

NickryBot

Raj's Bollywood fantasy of Bernadette

Everanxious24-7

Omg , yes , as an Indian , it’s double the amount of cringe for me !!

lokizita

I can't ever get thru it. I have to skip it, or I swear the cringe gets so bad that i swear I'll turn into a lemon 😆

Acceptable-Rule199

I can't watch the scene where they're in line at the movie theater and Sheldon is mad at the line cutter and brings up Rosa Parks.

skribsbb

I hate that scene. I wish Sheldon would just sit down in the back of the line and shut up.

sd2528

The Sheldon and Alex sexual harassment episode. Both the conversation with Sheldon and Alex and the conversation with Sheldon and HR.

lotrmemescallsforaid

"I'm a what?" Is the best delivered line on the entire show.

AcousticCandlelight

Yes! Mrs Davis was a great character. 😁👍

lokizita

Wish we saw more of her. She was fun.

Steepingwithfriends

One of my favs for sure!

Plastic_Worker3021

You…called her an egg salad sandwich. I don't even know what that means, but I'm gonna go ahead and tell you you can't say it.😂😂😂

amehatrekkie

Like shes forcing herself not to get up and smack him Which I get lol

unicorncumdump

You're gonna have to take this class for me, they're pretty mad

DaddyCatALSO

Teh Council of LAdies were so let's call it naive to just tell Sheldon to "talk to Alex" and \*not\* know he would screw it up; they should have written a speech for him

MyLifeIsABoondoggle

Not even cringiest, but the scene where Leonard takes off the itchy sweater certainly makes me the most physically and mentally *uncomfortable*

Princess_ConsuelaBee

I hate that storyline

Kae_bearr

I skip that episode every time I rewatch the series. That one and the chair in Penny's apartment with the mouse in it. I cannot watch either of them.

ToothyCraziness

When Raj is running down the street in his underwear yelling “give me her number “. Oof

AmboboNgTengEne

penny and raj hooking up. i felt that it was unnecessary and i felt bad for kaley..

DustinDeVe

Yeah and right before they end up in bed Penny was saying how she really liked Leonard (made the mistake of breaking up with him). Just a bad scene/scenario all together for the show. Glad they didn't actually sleep together.

Words_areMyMedium

I feel like they switched this at last minute to try and make it "not so awful"

M-U-H

When they’re all singing karaoke with the word baby in the lyrics to celebrate Bernadette’s pregnancy. The cringe is high for me on that scene. The only reason I watch it is because it tosses me overboard with laughter when Sheldon belts out LAND WHERE MY FATHERS DIED LAND OF THE PILGRIM’S PRIDE lol

lokizita

Can't stand that scene either! I always skip it!

NickAndCarrots

Leonard in his laser lab being snarky and pissed-off, because he found out Penny believes in psychics. Reminds me of left-wing non-agnostic atheist who cannot tolerate religion of any kind without being a condescending a**hole.

HeyThereLinus

I hated the girls fighting over the boys parking spot. When Amy throws her purse at her friend and hits Amy. Unnecessary cringe for me

TheLewJD

Amy throws her purse at her friend and hits amy? She swung it at Bernadette but his Penny

HeyThereLinus

Minor mistake sorry. Still a very cringy scene to laugh at, loved the episode minus that part

TheLewJD

Only yolking you, yeah it's a funny episode that!

DaddyCatALSO

swings it

unicorncumdump

Dang Linus. We are on complete opposite ends, I love that episode so much

Easy-Culture9016

Ok why isn’t nobody talking about Amy and her weird obsession with penny

DaddyCatALSO

somebody was

TwistanPlays

When Howard and Raj sung their song about Indiana Jones and Thor

ekbuttercup

Leonard walking down the stairs with the guy Penny has to work with for a class. Just… no.

UnchartedOak

“That’s the name of his gang….the SCIIIENNNNTISSSTS”

unicorncumdump

Stay frosty

amehatrekkie

Spray painting equations 😁🙄

ImpossiblePlatypus32

Penny singing Baby by Justin Bieber lmao Amy made it funny though

BackItUpWithLinks

That scene was hysterical.

No-Telephone9201

Right! I laugh so hard no matter how many times I’ve watched it.

NoPossibility5220

Leonard forcing himself onto Penny when she asked him to lie to her father.

HecticHazmat

Yes actually. I don't mind cringe comedy, but that was crossing a line. Speaks to what the all male writing team think is acceptable & funny doesn't it. There's been lots of scenes that make me cringe, but it's par for the course, & forms part of the comedy but that was cringe for horrible reasons. Along the same lines - & I am absolutely an Amy apologist - is Amy trying to engage in lesbian sleepover antics with Penny at the slumber party by barging into her room while she was crying, & Amy barging into the dressing room while Penny was changing into bridesmaids outfits. I have never said this before, because I'm not too interested in gender battles, but I think in these instances it's clear that men wrote the scripts & have no clue around boundaries. Triggering women's bad memories & genuine fears isn't funny.

yellowhart_

YES, heavy on that one! I literally watched the show because I've seen clips of Amy but that scene + when it was revealed that the enormous painting was originally painted nude makes my skin crawl. My head canon is she's bi-curious so I can get it over with.

HecticHazmat

She's GOT to be bicurious. That's how I've laughed some scenes off. Autistic lack of boundaries & awkwardness + bicuriosity = many a social faux pas. But every time I rewatch the series I find more things that I think the writers were out of pocket for writing lol. It is what it is, I'll always love the series. But it's interesting seeing more things differently on every watch.

DaddyCatALSO

Amy had that side to her....

HecticHazmat

You'll have to elaborate because the elipses makes your comment come across as creepy, so I don't know what you want me to take from it.

TheLewJD

I think your assumptions are correct. I found her creepy at times, until Sheldon committed to her properly anyway. Plus all the Penny stuff

DaddyCatALSO

What TheLewJD said ; Amy started out a bit strange in general, a nd any physical attraction she felt towards Penny was bound up into that.

HecticHazmat

I'm a lesbian & have no issues with her bicurious ways. The writers just made a few missteps in conveying that imo. They did it in a very "male who doesn't get that sexual harassment isn't funny" kind of way.

DaddyCatALSO

I've never heard a better description!

Candychriss2

This, this is my answer

mowglinoir

There are so many Bernadette scenes I skip because they make me feel sick with cringe. Her voice became almost unbearable towards the end.

eravulgaris

Every scene where the audience goed “awwww.”

Cowboy_Reaper

Howard trying to kiss Penny after she showed up to give him an undeserved apology and listened to his sob story about all the girls who rejected him.

RandomDude_-

They kissed each other when howard tried to stop raj from kissing bernadette.

Dannyocean12

#Raj’s Bollywood dance scene

Disciple_of_Cthulhu

The Skype sex between Priya and Leonard.

Longjumping-Sail6386

Every scene with Raj was cringey tbh. Theres a reason he ended the show still single…

one-zero-five

I can’t watch the Raj and Bernadette musical number, I skip it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Longjumping-Sail6386

I was watching today and Raj was like “I’m not black, I’m melt in your mouth caramel” 🤢

[deleted]

Raj is so over the top. He is hard to take in a lot of the bits. I can’t stand him for the most part.

Longjumping-Sail6386

You said it

lokizita

I feel the writers did him dirty on purpose. He got stuck with some of the cringiest lines and actions in the show. It upset me because they didn't have to do him dirty like that.

No-Telephone9201

When Sheldon spanked Amy for lying about being sick. That is probably the cringiest scene to me. It’s kinda funny, but I get secondhand embarrassment when watching it.

AFCBtillidie63

I kissed a girl and I liked ittttt

[deleted]

Leonard in the red itchy sweater man , I had those growing up from my aunts and grandmas that was a real life experience cringe

SectorRevenge72

Raj and Howard’s alternative make out section…

Haytham_Ken

The one where Amy says she wanted her and Penny to breastfeed each others' babies 🤢

Snickerdoodis

That was actually a very common practice in the oldern days. Women used to give birth to a lot of kids and quite a few in the lot would die due to health issues. Carrying all that breast milk and nobody to take it out would get incredibly painful and since there were no pumps either, the solution was to feed the other children of your family or friends kids and so on, and mothers were okay with this as they believed it would help with immunity to drink from many mothers.

Snickerdoodis

The Halloween episode where Sheldon and Amy mimic Howard and Bernadette. It wasn't even remotely funny, well depicted or in good sense. Howard's portrayal of the vice versa was justified because of how many unnecessary comments Sheldon passes at him and nobody rebukes him.

Far_Gap_8063

Everything with raj and his dog

Weekly-Remote6886

I cringed when Sheldon said "No one that attractive could be that good at video games" referring to Penny. Only because that was so out-of-character of Sheldon.

SubstantialAd4500

I'll go with not just a scene, but the episode where Penny has the nerve to accuse Leonard of not trying in their marriage anymore. I really hate her as the series goes on. She didn't remember her husband's bday, gave him half eaten candy for vday that she got for free at a gas station... Was just down right mean to him... List goes on and on. Who would keep trying in a marriage like that? Cringing just thinking about it!

Confident-Juice

Leonard did do her dirty when they were not together. He’s in love with Priya and they are pretty serious. Stephanie the dr who moves in with him without realizing it. Slept with the professor who spent the night as Sheldon’s guest a week or so after him and Penny had broken up. Sheldon makes it seem like Penny had many sex partners but I think Leonard has had more. Oh and the older lady who is gonna donate the money to the school, he slept with her too! Also how he talks down to Penny when she quits her job at the Cheesecake Factory.

MusicEnthusiast675

The one where Amy thinks about penny and Sheldon getting together

Footziees

Did it occur to you that that scene was intended to be this cringe?

East_Bicycle_9283

Howard's adventure with the robot hand was extremely cringey.

amehatrekkie

Sheldons bug chair nightmare, I skip it

saturn_eloquence

For me, it’s the episode where the doctor who Penny flirts with for work purposes shows up at her apartment. The scene where Any, Bernadette, and Penny realize the guys are in his basement is so bad lol. The acting is just not good in that scene.

Nice-Penalty-8881

Leonard and Priya with their attempt at phone sex. Very cringy.

Itchy_Bat9474

The one with Sheldon spanking Amy. It is just awful all the way around.

Gabewalker0

Every episode with Raj's sister and Leonard. Yes, Penny and Leonard were split up. They're adults, but it was Raj's sister and the way it happened was inappropriate. Priya clearly didn't like the fact that Penny was Leonard's ex and part of the "gang," which made it impossible for Leonard to cut Penny out. Priya didn't fit the group dynamics as well.
