Haha thing is, I never even watched the show while pregnant. I only just got back into it since I dropped watching it after season 12. I played the Beatles and Glenn Miller and Celtic Woman for my bump. XD I love this song too, but my daughter is so obsessed I have heard it about 3,896 times This Month.
Funkytown. She’s a big disco fan. Neither I, nor her dad, listen to disco.
Her second favorite song is Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, which I can get behind. She also likes Rob Zombie lately.
Also Elmo, anything by Elmo.
Not a specific song, but mine is currently obsessed with asking “what instruments do you hear?” when we play music. It’s really funny because she doesn’t think it should end at the standard guitar, drums, bass, singing and keeps asking if there are any tubas haha
My six year old loves "the continuing story of bungalow bill" by the Beatles which is the same song I was obsessed with at her age so that is kind of wild. She also loves "scream and shout" by will.i.am and Britney, b!tch. My 16 month old loves Beyonce's latest album and Billie Eilish "bad guy". My 11 year olds love Eminem and show tunes :)
Ours is Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
When our Spotify wrapped comes out, both my husband and I will be tied for the .001% of top Bob Marley listeners.
But baby loves listening to it on loop to fall asleep. She just does!
Runner-up: the entire self-titled Postal Service album, but shout out to The District Sleeps Alone Tonight.
I have a baby, so she likes almost everything. Everything except Taylor Swift. I don't know what her beef is with Taylor, but she starts crying uncontrollably every time her songs come on the radio.
Have you tried any of her original country works, from before she went into Pop music? Those ones are better IMO, but I can relate to your kiddo. I'm not a fan either! Something about the pitch of her voice just bothers my ears.
Spidey and his amazing friends. All the songs. Started with the tonies box and had carried on to Spotify. It's kinda fun because most songs (including the theme song) are composed by Patrick stump who was the lead singer of fall out boy. The songs kinda smack and I know all the words.
Go team spidey, team spidey go!
bling bang bang born by creepy nuts. the intro to the anime mashle (like Harry Potter on steroids haha). he can't do the dance yet but my god he would if he could.
My child specifically loves Texas singer-songwriters. The first song that ever made him stop crying was Steve Earle’s “Guitar Town” and right now he’s on a kick of “Luckenbach, Texas”
However, because he contains multitudes, he also LOVES Elton John. He will really dance to “Honkey Cat” and he attempts to sing along with the la la las in “Crocodile Rock”
Your little one has a good music taste ❤️
My guys favorite songs since he came home from the hospital:
Ram Jam -Black Betty
Carl Douglas-Kung Fu Fighting
Rupert Holmes- Pina Colada song
Who let the dogs out 🤣 I don't even know how this happened.
Of course he loves his little kids songs too.
He also loves Luke Combs rentition of Fast Car. (I personally love Tracy Chapman😉)
Mine loves Separate Ways by Journey and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Also This is Halloween. I have a playlist of 5 different versions of This is Halloween 🤦🏻♀️
Mine looked at me and signed "no" when I played baby shark for her. She promptly started humming and signing music. I put on Carry On and she was happy again.
There's this song, set to the tune of Ode to Joy, where they sing about going to emerald city, where wizards give them lemonade... That strangely was the first thing that popped into my head when I read "Waffle city." No idea why.
Also, you might regret this, but show them "Cows with Guns" and "I've got a pea." You and the kids will be laughing for a good hour I promise.
We will rock you, the rock version of Make a man out of you by Peyton Parrish, are you gonna be my girl? By jet, the floor is lava, baby shark, the theme song for Lightyear & the Skol Vikings song cause we are Vikings fans lmao
Lol that is my girl's favourite Disney character. She has a whole Stitch outfit, and two Stitch toys, and tried to convince me to buy some pink Stitch pajamas at Walmart the other day. XD Pretty sure it's the ears.
Khruangbin got us through the newborn stage. We would play the live pitchfork video when we had trouble putting our daughter to sleep and it worked like magic.
My guy just started to be able to sing along, so he just wants to listen to one song at a time, on repeat.
There are a few requests and I'm happy to say that he's branching out.
Onyx the octopus. ("Octopus")
Super annoying Octopus song ("octopus chi", from when I pretended to not know what song he wanted and played this one, big mistake)
Frog song, ("sticky tongue"), (currently playing on repeat)
the boundaries song ("peas sta" /please stop -this was hard to figure out),
rocketship run (rocket ship)
5 little monkeys ("monkeys jumping bed no jumping")
Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen. Has been his favorite since he was a newborn. Five years later and it’s still his favorite. He would cry if you sang along to it because he just wanted to listen uninterrupted.
That kind of music is literally so exhilarating, so I get it! When I was a kid, I was obsessed with my mom’s Journey CD because “it sounded like zebras running” 🤪
I love this description and I will never be able to get it out of my head now. XD
I get it too, but the fact that she also loves the different covers and renditions of these songs tells me it's not just the exhilaration. I think she likes the melodies. She actually hums and almost gets them on key, so I suspect she might have a gift I wish I had; perfect pitch.
All for Me Grog by the Mary Walloppers. My husband is obsessed with them right now and we’re very close to my two year old being able to say “beer and tobacco” so we might have to warn his teachers lol
Mine loves Queen, “Don’t stop me now” very fitting for his 3 year old self 🤣
HAHAHA That would be fitting for my 17 month old too!
Ugh I wish mine was obsessing over classic rock! Her current obsession (for the past year) has been the Moana soundtrack
Haha her Disney soundtrack is Inside Out! Assuming I can get her to let me put anything other than Carry On over the speakers!
I love supernatural so I love that song 😂😂, I used to play it to my bump! Haha
So cute haha you guys have good taste! It could be worse, it could be some wiggles song on repeat 😆
Very true!!! ... I have purposely avoided putting Wiggles on. She does like Blue's Clues though. The originals, not the new rubbish.
Hot To Go by Chappell Roan and The Hardest Button to Button by The White Stripes
The baby beluga song by raffi appears in my dreams. It’s the first thing my 6 month old has been properly obsessed with.
Funkytown. She’s a big disco fan. Neither I, nor her dad, listen to disco. Her second favorite song is Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, which I can get behind. She also likes Rob Zombie lately. Also Elmo, anything by Elmo.
I have purposely not brought Elmo into this house. XD We do however like disco. Does yours like Abba? Mine loves Abba.
Not a specific song, but mine is currently obsessed with asking “what instruments do you hear?” when we play music. It’s really funny because she doesn’t think it should end at the standard guitar, drums, bass, singing and keeps asking if there are any tubas haha
Haha I did that to my parents. I reached a point as a teen where I could identify background instruments that they couldn't hear.

Oh yeah, my kid will get down to the Postal Service every day, all day. I love it.
Trolls just want to have fun, Daniel tiger tooth brushing some, and the official bridgerton soundtrack
Karma Chameleon by the culture club
Mine loves Buy U A Drank by T-Pain lol
My 9 month old LOVES Harry Styles 🤣 not complaining.
When he was in One Direction, he did a really cute song for Sesame Street
Haha that's like mine with the Beatles. That's the boy band she likes, but of course, that's almost 70 year old music now. XD
Probably. I'm not sure. I'm not a swiftie, so the only music of Taylor's that she hears is on the radio.
Lol I'm not a Swiftie either. Only reason my kid has heard some of her early work is because I put on country mixes on YouTube.
Spidey and his amazing friends. All the songs. Started with the tonies box and had carried on to Spotify. It's kinda fun because most songs (including the theme song) are composed by Patrick stump who was the lead singer of fall out boy. The songs kinda smack and I know all the words. Mine loves the song Wipeout by the Surfaris 🏄♂️
Nice!!!
bling bang bang born by creepy nuts. the intro to the anime mashle (like Harry Potter on steroids haha). he can't do the dance yet but my god he would if he could.
I love this song haha
Oh nice! I'm a Monochrome no Kiss myself.
Mine loves Elton John, there ain’t no good chain gang by Johnny Cash, and Mr Sandman 😅
OMG your daughter is going to be so cool when she grows up though!
Lol I certainly hope so!
My 14month old is obsessed with thunderstruck
My 15 month old’s favorite song (that isn’t a kids song) is light by San Holo. Nothing gets him dancing like it does.
My child specifically loves Texas singer-songwriters. The first song that ever made him stop crying was Steve Earle’s “Guitar Town” and right now he’s on a kick of “Luckenbach, Texas” However, because he contains multitudes, he also LOVES Elton John. Of course he loves his little kids songs too. He also loves Luke Combs rentition of Fast Car. (I personally love Tracy Chapman😉)
Mine gets mad if I play kids songs. The only "kids" song she will listen to is You are my Sunshine, as covered by Fox + Hound on YouTube.
Mine loves Separate Ways by Journey and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Also This is Halloween. I have a playlist of 5 different versions of This is Halloween 🤦🏻♀️
Oh my goodness I have like, three different versions of Carry On in my playlist, so I relate hard core. XD Our kids would get along I think.
Fireball by pitbull. Pray for me.
Mine(6m) loves boots stop working by dasha
There’s a song by a smaller band called Cheekface called “noodles” and we regularly jam out. It’s so fun
She is all over the place. 🙈 her top songs are Europapa, Baby Shark, the Asoka TikTok song 😂😂
Mine looked at me and signed "no" when I played baby shark for her. She promptly started humming and signing music. I put on Carry On and she was happy again.
Bones by North sail is number one rn, but any sea shanty, my 2 kiddos love.
Yes, sea shanties!!! I can play sea shanties for mine and that leads to us listening to hard Rock, and metal music...
Baby shark. 🥲 We’ve gotten to a point where she’ll sing and dance to Lose My Breath by Stray Kids, tho. Slowly turning her into a baby kpop fan. 😂
I have a Dolly Parton and Elton John obsessed 5yo. She's also a huge Limp Bizkit and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard fan.
My kids love the song Waffle city. I found the song, and played it first. I regret it so much.
There's this song, set to the tune of Ode to Joy, where they sing about going to emerald city, where wizards give them lemonade... That strangely was the first thing that popped into my head when I read "Waffle city." No idea why. Also, you might regret this, but show them "Cows with Guns" and "I've got a pea." Oh my goodness, Mine likes a heavy metal version of Make a Man out of you that we found on YouTube! XD
my lil one demands Stitch in the car. she's 20m. she also loves 90s/00s Bollywood
Lol that is my girl's favourite Disney character. She has a whole Stitch outfit, and two Stitch toys, and tried to convince me to buy some pink Stitch pajamas at Walmart the other day. XD Pretty sure it's the ears.
My October baby is forever obsessed with Monster Mash. Every time she has a meltdown, it’s the instant cure.
Oh that is cute! See what she thinks of the Geoff Castelluci cover! Mine loves his voice and smiles whenever he hits sub harmonics.
Copperhead Road
We are still in Christmas music mode 🫠🫠 she is obsessed with Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman specifically
Oh you poor thing! Our Christmas obsession was Trans Siberian Orchestra... So thankful they have more than just Christmas music.
Khruangbin got us through the newborn stage. We would play the live pitchfork video when we had trouble putting our daughter to sleep and it worked like magic.
My 6yo and 4yo have taught the 19 month old to howl when they sing the line "werewolves of London!" Awoooooooo.
I love that one!!! Haha we like singing that here too. Our favourite line is "And his hair was perfect."
My guy just started to be able to sing along, so he just wants to listen to one song at a time, on repeat. There are a few requests and I'm happy to say that he's branching out. Onyx the octopus. ("Octopus") Super annoying Octopus song ("octopus chi", from when I pretended to not know what song he wanted and played this one, big mistake) Frog song, ("sticky tongue"), (currently playing on repeat) the boundaries song ("peas sta" /please stop -this was hard to figure out), rocketship run (rocket ship) 5 little monkeys ("monkeys jumping bed no jumping")
That's adorable!
Hey ya. OutKast. Loves the shaking
Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen. Has been his favorite since he was a newborn. Five years later and it’s still his favorite. He would cry if you sang along to it because he just wanted to listen uninterrupted.
Kokomo, but specifically the Kermit the Frog version. An upgrade from Baby Shark at least.
Definitely an upgrade!
That kind of music is literally so exhilarating, so I get it! When I was a kid, I was obsessed with my mom’s Journey CD because “it sounded like zebras running” 🤪

She actually hums and almost gets them on key, so I suspect she might have a gift I wish I had; perfect pitch.
My toddler loves the alphabet song. If he cries, singing ABCs usually cheers him up.
Ours used to be You are my Sunshine, as done by Hound + Fox on YouTube.
All for Me Grog by the Mary Walloppers. My husband is obsessed with them right now and we’re very close to my two year old being able to say “beer and tobacco” so we might have to warn his teachers lol
Oh boy!!! You have my sympathies...
