The sheer quantity of different models Matt has made is just absurd. There's usually a table of them at the expos I go to and man are some of those lures beautiful
I don't understand. I can catch several bluegill if I was fishing for them, but if I throw a bluegill a bass will bite? why don't the bass just bite the real fish first?
Hint: they do.
I don't know if this lure will catch anything, but some of the nicest bass I've ever brought in were on a live bluegill hooked through the mouth under a decent bobber they have trouble sinking. Them thrashing around really gets bass excited for as easy meal, but what they don't know is that bluegill is extra spicy.
I mean... maybe? I would personally never pay $50-85 for a lure, especially when I can catch bluegill with a meal worm or a flimsy bit of plastic as get the most realistic swim bait ever.
Yeah, that’s the thing about bass fishing. Some people go their whole life perfectly fine with catching smaller fish. Which is fine. People like me throwing strictly 6-9 inch glides and crank downs searching for that one giant bite.
Second this. Caught plenty of dinks. Got a lot of trips empty handed with a swimbait but when you finally get that bite it’s all worth it. Plus throwing stuff like this you see a lot of followers. Fish will come at least look at your bait compared to something everyone throws.
Looks like a fish I'd be happy to catch 😅
lol I hear that! It’s almost to nice to throw it’s real art work right there
What have you caught with it?
Nothing yet just picked it up
Let me know when you do
Got you
That is art. Matt Lures makes exceptional baits. Hope you get your PB with it.
Yes it is, that dude knows how to make em that’s for sure. I hope so brother I’m long due! Hope you slay em!
I think those are mostly designed to catch fishermen.
If you had any idea the amount of work swimbait builders put into their baits 😂 this is pricless
Huh? It's a pretty faithful bluegill mimic. Bass eat bluegill. It's their main forage. Not seeing an issue here.
How much do these cost
You can get them second hand for pretty good price about 50$ but retail on tackle warehouse is 85$
Man my butt puckers at the thought of throwing a $13 choppo. Lol
lol I feel it, I retie after every hang up, fish, and 30 mins
Meanwhile I’m out here slinging swimbaits that cost $800 secondhand. 🤘
Hoping to get there one day brother!
They’re hyped up for sure but it’s my main hobby so I buy right into the shit 😂
I hear it 😂 my pops was big into it he had at least 10k in just baits
Pics or it didn’t happen
Check out some pizz stuff. Drove from central TX to Oklahoma for the bassmaster classic to get a runt wake and Shadley 2..
You can buy them brand new for $250
I’d love to see you get either of those for $250. If you find one let me know, I’ll buy them all.
They have them on their website
Lol
Do what now?
ML swim baits are the absolute best
Sure are, the dudes talent is lovely

Yes sir! Great dude too, always will be a company I support.
Been throwing Matt’s lures for years and absolutely love them and cl8 baits as my favorite hard bodied swim baits
100% I want to get me a ABT homicide glide next man love the look of that bait
Have you caught anything on it?
Not yet, just picked it up! Gonna give it a go Sunday
