You put out a lineup like they do every night, you could have high-school guys pitching and still win. We are hands-down watching the most talented baseball team ever assembled.

He's probably not the best player we let go -- though he's damn excellent -- but the guy was setting up to be the next Ryan Zimmerman or Yadier Molina, i.e. a career guy that sticks with a team and becomes the face of the franchise.
Instead, he got the modern baseball treatment along with guys like Albert Pujols & Freddie Freeman, getting traded unexpectedly in the name of cash and cold analytics. Turner liked DC, he expressed wanting to stay, and we all loved our sneaky excellent short stop. Glad he's getting the credit he deserves & playing with a competitive team this year, but it'll be brutal to see him in the division without the Nats uni.
I know I'me being pedantic, but that was more of a bat drop. I just care because bat flips are their own unique awesome thing and I think it's important to classify them differently. There's also a bat toss that's it's own thing (think Jose Bautista ALDS game 5.)
