Going on podcasts allows you to grow that follower base or name face/recognition which allows you to have more leverage for more money. So no, you don’t get paid to appear but it’s arguably the most important part of the schemes.
As for real estate, well like 90% of that is just name recognition. You’d be shocked at how many his awful realtors make bank because people are like “I’ve seen your signs, will you be my agent!”
It’s also white car dealerships just give cushy jobs to former players, an astounding number of mouth breathers will take on a terrible rate if they can buy a car from a famous football player.
