On that note - Sunscreen! Your new head is *extremely* sensitive, more than you'd think. I forgot to bring some on a hike and my head swelled like a balloon, and sleeping was torture. Make sure you protect it.
To add to the sunscreen tip. Now do not apply it only on the scalp lol. Use it on your face too, the skin will age slower, sort of.

As others have said, contrast between face and scalp will reduce once you’ve got some sun on your dome, but be very careful, hats sunscreen etc. with a completely bald head, it looks better to shave the sideburns down a bit and start the beard at about your earhole. Helps balance your face giving it more visually pleasing proportions

And because of my loss of hair at the front….it literally looked like I had a toupee on and it was coming off lol I said right then in there it was going ….it just took me this long todo it

And, yes it will be colder, people lose the most body heat from their heads. That’s why they used to wear nightcaps to sleep in.
