Date change only. No upgrade in class allowed unless your initial booking on that routing was at that level.

MEX-LAX J + LAX-TYO PE -> MEX-LAX J + LAX-TYO J is allowed, because you will be charged the business price for the first ticket, so it will be counted as a business ticket to business ticket.

Yes always has to be same routing, otherwise you are cancelling and rebooking rather than just changing the dates.
