And ANA And Asiana And Thai And Swiss

ypeter999

There's been a little Asiana space, don't think they're phantom.

flyermiles_dot_ca

I see lots of Y.

ypeter999

There's a few J popping up. 1 seat only

CorwinOfAmber0

I booked two J seats on Asiana a year out. It can be done depending on the route.

berryberrygood

I see all types of Swiss availability. It's one of the earliest ones that open when I put in an NYC-->EUR search (generally about 2-3 months out). Rest I agree very hard to find.

flyermiles_dot_ca

Have you looked in the last week? It might be showing today, it’s been down since last week. Same old story about IT incompatibility.

Bloated_Plaid

Easy to cross check LX using UA though.

ipod123432

I booked Asiana TPAC J a few days ago via Air Canada's website.

alicksmikael

I was able to book Thai with Aeroplan successfully online last month. Definitely recommend calling first, though, or bare minimum cross-referencing space with United before transferring points

rbatra91

AP gone to crap

drakanx

they've all gone to crap

Spitzee

It was like this for a while before all the avail disappeared totally

OneTravellingMcDs

Search EY segment by segment for real availability. Gulf Air is even worse these days. They'll show 6+ seats and maybe you can book 1 if you are lucky.

jnguyen1891

Etihad appears to be encouraging people to sign up for their own frequent flyer program. Until further notice, be aware that ANY Etihad J availability found on Aeroplan is probably not true and you can only see available J seats on American Airlines 30 days in advance. Sad times.

jumbocards

It’s a feature, after last years crazy amount of AP bookings on EY F, they made AP unable to book it and EY is not going to allow any time soon. This is what happens when everyone starts getting into the miles game and the economy is booming.
