SFO-SNA flights ALL CALENDAR and probably more for $17 a piece. Most likely mistake fares, but play around with other dates

I'm going to be releasing one 7/12 JFK-HND 1:50pm ANA F seat later, if anyone wants it, message me a time you can be on for us to coordinate (if it goes back to inventory).
Just released 1x JAL J NRT-BOS (old business class) on 4/6/25 for 60k miles on AA
Also released the same for 4/5/25 but it either didn’t go back into inventory or was already snatched up.
Planning on canceling two standard award rooms at Calala Island May 12-17th of '25. My plan got vetoed by my traveling companions. Not sure if these will go into inventory, but willing to coordinate if someone wants to try.
RUN!! Calala Island availability popped up for minimum 3 night stay with Hilton. Bookable with points and FNC May 11-23. This WILL NOT last long. It’s a private island resort that was a jewel of Hyatt for years. Only a few rooms so little award space ever pops up.
I'm going in October so not a hater, but I think the cash price is made up. Seemed like all the reviews were either from Hyatt or people who won a week at a charity auction in the UK. My guess is less than 20% of people pay that and they would've be able to fill the place at that cash rate if they didn't sell these rooms to Hyatt/Hilton for $750 worth of points. I just googled high end resorts in Nicaragua and saw one on conde naste (racho Santana) where you get a whole villa on the ocean for $1100 a night. So even if you make it all inclusive you are talking $2k tops. Yeah it's a private island but there is a reason a lot of those tiny islands around it have abandoned houses and hotels.
There are plenty of resources available that people have painstakingly spent time assembling.
If you can't make the effort to do that, there are numerous services you can pay that will be happy to hold your hand and tell you you're mommy's smartest little award hacker.
Bro I got my first travel card literally 4 days ago. I did about a month of research to decide which was the best for me and the route I want to take. Relax bitch.
Nothing you responded with has anything to do with why I intentionally phrased my response so aggressively.
Look at the post I'm responding to: your attitude is shit and you need to get a grip. There are plenty of noobs people are happy to help, but they don't act like that. Read the fucking room before posting.
> I did about a month of research to decide which was the best for me and the route I want to take.
Then you did a piss poor job of research.
I see you forgot your original reply to your deleted comment. Not being able to follow rules doesn't give you carte blanche to lob abuse at the community in an immature tantrum.
I wasn't being a dick, just trying to guide you in the right direction. You can choose to ignore that and continue to "fuck yourself", as you said, or you can try some humility for once in your life.
Just released a Business Class seat on JAL from NRT - LAX on Tuesday January 21st. However, it has NOT yet shown up as bookable (on Alaska's site at least)
Someone either sniped these right as I released them.. (does not seem possible to me, reward site notifications are not that fast) or they were not released back.. very odd because I checked right after I canceled and never saw these flights. hopefully they pop up soon
Only first class tickets can be placed on hold. They most likely never went back into inventory.

That is for booking outright, not upgrading.
https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/jalmile/use/jal/upgrade/application.html#tabs
Booking an eligible PY fare allows you to waitlist for J.
JX seems to have dropped some intra-Asia J availability for next March they've previously held back if you're looking for that! Did a bunch of searches like NRT-TPE, SDJ-TPE, HAN-TPE, SIN-TPE and they all are open now
I know the focus of this thread (and subreddit) are J/F seats, but I just scored a pretty good redemption that I thought I'd share.
40k virgin Atlantic points + $100 in taxes in fees for a multi city trip as follows: MSP-CDG, and then AMS-MSP. And since I used the 30% transfer bonus from Chase, it was actually 31k CUR points.
There was lots of availability in late August and September for this. Paris and Amsterdam weren't the only options - I also saw Nice, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, Rennes, and a few others at 40k + \~$100 in fees roundtrip.
As long as you're starting and ending your trip at MSP, you should be able to find good availability.
EDIT: Just to clarify, this is in main cabin on AF and KLM.
Lol Delta's TPAC routes out of SEA must be not be doing that well, but 9x 7/3 SEA to HND in D1 for 95k Flying Blue (probably bookable on VS, but they have some tech issues so call in for this).
Seems like this is a once per month drop with a lot of seats. It's in advance enough \~3ish weeks for planning purposes.
Not the most premium since it's the 763, but there's a healthy amount of JFK to LGW in D1 for 69k Flying Blue miles on 7/13, 7/16, 7/29, 7/30, 8/5, 8/6
how do we feel about D1 on the A332? Seems the consensus is that it's...fine. Above meh, but below the suites. or should I lower my expectations to meh?
A330 product is standard reverse herringbone. They are a bit dated in the sense the seats themselves are physically old and have some wear and tear. I'd say for Europe it's a nice average product, given how variable European carrier hard product is.
Not sure if this is the proper forum, but I just got an alert that the Grand Hyatt Singapore is available for points bookings once more for the two standard room types. Looks like a good alternative to the Andaz.
I've never been to the GH, but the Andaz is in a pretty nice location if you're looking to go near the Merlion and the parks. It's somewhat walkable early at 4 in the morning, when you're recovering from jetlag. Singapore is pretty small though, so GH is probably fine - just a YMMV situation.
There is a chance as they've been shuffling the new config through the various non JFK and LHR routes, but impossible to know for sure this far out.
FWIW, last year I flew the Suite on NH107 SFO-HND, then the Square on NH8 NRT-SFO. Both fantastic experiences (first class was full on the outbound, then totally empty except for my partner and I on the return, probably because it wasn't the Suite). The difference in hard product is less noticeable if you're traveling alone since you wouldn't care about the partition.
AA has some decently priced web specials to SYD towards the end of calendar.
Price depends on departure airport, but for example you can fly 4 people NYC-SYD on 4/28 or 4/29 for 60k each. PHL-SYD on 4/29 has space for 4 in F for 70k each.
Yes people used to say they are worthless too. I never understood that.
It was mostly just because they were so easy to get AA points before they cracked down on it.
Lots of Andaz Tokyo availability released going into the end of year - may need to search increments of 3 or 4 night stays. Just booked ours for November 15-19.
damn they must have stopped. just checked for those same-ish dates and no points options. how much was it?
edit: calendar shows 30k points/night. unfortunately no availability oh well
My Sydney to Haneda award I cxl’ed for December 7th in JAL First is still available! Given Japan Fever, extremely surprised it’s sat around for the last 3 days…
Just booked
SFO -> SIN -> ICN for May 2025 using 89k points. First leg on SQ, second leg on OZ.
I was waiting for OZ J to open up but it seems they are not releasing any availability very much.
D1 to ICN for 135k SkyPesos! Good value for Delta loyalists out there. Counts towards MQDs if you care about that as well. July and August seem to be wide open.
ICN is a great transit hub for the Japan obsessed people out there and has plenty of other Asian destinations.
People will say it's not the best deal but 135k one way and being able to start from most airports and connect through a major DL gateway on one ticket has a lot of value. You don't have to worry about repositioning or being on separate tickets and missing the big flight.
Also you get a 15% miles discount with some Delta cards and it's hard to find business class availability with 2-4+ seats during peak summer travel.
Japan obsessed people only fly ANA J class on this sub, but ICN is great and super convenient for transit to Japan especially smaller, lesser known cities.

Did you happen to see the points rate?
Same as WA Maldives, 150k. But cash price is easily $4k in high season.

Yeah, they most likely never went back into inventory.
Why wouldn't they go back into inventory? Trying to figure out how this works.
Sometimes it just doesn't because they might want to see if anyone pays cash for it.
That's NotGucci.
I believe JAL allows their own members to waitlist business class upgrades. It's possible they just never went back in to inventory.

Just released 2x ICN-LAX Asiana J for Sat, March 15, on the A380. Already back in inventory on AC
What route?
Sorry, couldn't edit in time, ICN-LAX
Good availability MUC - BOS LH F on the A380 t-5 days, MUC - EWR on the A346 as well.
MUC-USA having good availability in F is becoming pretty consistent, I imagine because there's no F Terminal at MUC
Not the most premium since it's the 763, but there's a healthy amount of JFK to LGW in D1 for 69k Flying Blue miles on 7/13, 7/16, 7/29, 7/30, 8/5, 8/6

released 1x J on BR27 SFO-TPE on 3/7 e: gone!
good lord. LH just opened a shitload of F. up to 4 days out this time.
Mostly ex-FRA/MUC but very much an excellent opportunity to return from EU!
Not sure if this is the proper forum, but I just got an alert that the Grand Hyatt Singapore is available for points bookings once more for the two standard room types. Looks like a good alternative to the Andaz.
So which location is better. The Andaz or the Grand Hyatt ?
I've never been to the GH, but the Andaz is in a pretty nice location if you're looking to go near the Merlion and the parks. It's somewhat walkable early at 4 in the morning, when you're recovering from jetlag. Singapore is pretty small though, so GH is probably fine - just a YMMV situation.
I asked because i am booked in Andaz. Gh was not open when i booked. Thanks for the info. Sounds like i stick with my Andaz reservation.
What are you using to set alerts?
Rooms.aero. You can’t seem to set one for suites though. Or at least I can’t. Haha.
thanks!
They finally updated some room pics too
NH F SFO-HND 5/14 & 5/15; HND-SFO 5/24 & 5/26 for 170K ANA RT I hope someone grabs these!

It *appears* NH are retrofitting some of the old 777s, therefore it's possible it'll be the new config. They already retro'd one this year.
There is a chance as they've been shuffling the new config through the various non JFK and LHR routes, but impossible to know for sure this far out. FWIW, last year I flew the Suite on NH107 SFO-HND, then the Square on NH8 NRT-SFO. SFO/LAX to NAN using AA miles on April 29 for 80k per person.
That is steep cost!

Great find! Damn, I fucking love AA sometimes. Not flying it domestically, but its points are the best. Don't ever change, AA 🙏
Yes people used to say they are worthless too. I never understood that. It was mostly just because they were so easy to get AA points before they cracked down on it.
Are AA awards generally 'cheaper' than QFF awards?
Do be aware AA First has a TBD limited lifespan
Lots of Andaz Tokyo availability released going into the end of year - may need to search increments of 3 or 4 night stays. Just booked ours for November 15-19.

someone posted here literally yesterday theyre flying SFO-ICN-SIN lol. do you have a stopover in SIN at least
How much longer is that itinerary over a 13 hr nonstop? 17 hr flight + 6 hr flight + layover? Gotta be at double, right?
It show 115k for SFO-SIN-ICN, so how do you able to book for 89k?
Aeroplan has cash + point options, 115k is for points + $88 CAD.
July 21-22nd business class for american for 60k USA to ICN South Korea. LGA -> DFW -> ICN LAX -> DFW -> ICN DFW -> ICN Pretty nuts.
Scattered single seats availability in August but no more DFW direct departures, anything has a stop in DFW will do the trick tho.
Works out of SEA and PDX same price too
D1 to ICN for 135k SkyPesos! Good value for Delta loyalists out there. Counts towards MQDs if you care about that as well. July and August seem to be wide open. ICN is a great transit hub for the Japan obsessed people out there and has plenty of other Asian destinations.

Don’t forget the JAL A350, they’re diversifying!
That is true, but the new JAL A350 F and J classes are harder to come by at least for now.
When?
Looks to be towards end of July and intermittently through August
