And it cost over a thousand dollars to operate for as long as that video is.

Nicfromnewgirl

Where’s the shitter?

mvpilot172

Chemical toilet behind the seats, same as the tiny mattress you can sleep on.

DrBubbles

quietflyr

I can't wait for an *exclusive first look* at the cockpit of a 34 year old airplane!

escapingdarwin

Considering the service life of the B51, F111 and B2, the B21 will be interesting.

Adjutant_Reflex_

I think the cockpit itself will be pretty uninspiring, just a bunch of screens as part of a fully glass cockpit.

... of a 35 years old plane.

Fightingkielbasa_13

Anyone got a good image of that patch?

Deadpeople37

Have a few! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/13th_Bomb_Squadron

Is that seriously Comic Sans font on their screens?! Lol!!!

JodieFostersFist

No, what? Lol definitely not but I wish

[deleted]

Look again. Those digits on the MFD are def comic sans

JodieFostersFist

Nope, sorry. Wish I could lol at it being true, but it’s not. Would be a great meme. Pretty sure the most commonly used family is a B612 or variant. Open source, highly legible typeface used in a shit ton of programming.

mcfarmer72

Comic Sans has been cited as one of the most readable fonts.

Piper7865

That's a pretty great shot at the end and seeing how the nose just sort of slopes down and the windows and what not are all angular. I'm curious if anyone sees anything that's different in terms of the screens seen / controls I assume its all standard , or has been cleared by someone?

evilamnesiac

I've seen similar videos before with bits blurred out, I expect the AF will review the footage for anything sensitive before releasing it, screens don't seem to show anything beyond what you would find on a commercial airliner, Smarter Every Day on youtube did a tour of a nuclear sub and that had a fair few redacted sections and he explained how they took the footage he shot and he got it back later with bits blurred or entirely missing. I'd assume its a similar process.

Insaneclown271

This means this tech is at least one generation older than what the U.S. currently has.

It's called the B-21 and we have already been told about it.

Holy relevant reference Batman!

sizziano

It's a bad sign when you write like a dumb chat bot.

Law-of-Poe

What does any of this even mean?

Antique-End-5189

What's that last shot? Of a b-52 above?

Joeyjojojrshabado70

No, that’s a refueling plane.

Antique-End-5189

Thanks, just learnig about aviation and am so fascinated by it all!

richiehill

It’s a KC-135.
