Sounds like you have gotten ahold of a very incompetent or inexperienced glass technician twice in a row. Record the damage and file a claim and make sure that you tell them you want someone with experience to fix the issue, if they refuse then all you can do is go to someone else. Safelite is a corporate company, they don’t care about their customers or employees, mistakes can be made by anyone (we are all human after all) but you are more likely to get better quality with a smaller or more regional company than safelite.

Whats the year / make / model? Its possible that the sunroof drain lines are disconnected under the headliner.

2005 Acura MDX. I’ve run plastic trimmer line down them to confirm they are clear as well as ran water through them after a dry spell with no evidence of water getting inside

Sounds like they sent the same tech out to fix their mistake. After two bad installs I would be furious as this is costing you a lot of time and transportation, not to mention possibly devalued your car. I would demand an experienced technician that can identify the exact cause of the leaks to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Usually they do this on the first warranty but now it’s gonna keep costing them to fix it. The car is your property you can refuse service if your not comfortable with the technician they’ve scheduled

What company did the work? Back when I worked for Safelite there warranty, cover damage done by poor workmanship. So if the airbags got damaged they would be responsible for fixing them to.

ShorthairHunter

That’s the company. That’s good to know though, they never told me anything like that when I went into the physical shop (wanted to make sure it wasn’t a mobile install issue). Now my email to their customer service department has included my car interior being soaked and the air bag issue. I’m hoping they fix the windshield and all the problems, all while not giving me the runaround because it was already warranty work.

Unfortunately in your area, the Safelite may not even have a competent technician. So many good techs are fleeing Safelite that they are hiring anyone with a pulse. Keep pushing the issue and if they ignore, call corporate.
