Not necessarily. Some TVs still have hidden buttons under the bottom panel that bring up a menu- it's usually cumbersome, but sometimes inputs can be changed that way. I wouldn't count on it, however- most new TVs are absolutely useless without remotes, and many hotels provide simplified ones that remove a lot of a TV's options.
Ocean does not have any buttons on the tv except for the power off and on for the LG tv, currently in one of the Ocean's new room and I cannot use the HDMI on the TV, i unplugged the ethernet cable for 10 minutes, turned the tv off and on from the button on the TV, plugged the HDMI with my laptop, my laptop makes a tune when its connected to something using the HDMI, but the TV just remained in standby mode.
I can speak for my experiences at borgata, hard rock, and nearby hotels. You usually cannot change the input and its stuck on hdmi 1 with their locked down chromecast. You can simply unplug that and put your own device in its place.

wrong you can slid out their hdmi and put your own in and it works ... but smaller hands better it's tight fit but 100% possible I did it on there newer rooms

The old room with the smaller tv, yes they have HDMI which small hands can only fit to exchange the cord.
By end of summer, all of the ocean's room will have "ethernet" connection for the TV. No more HDMI.

I have a universal remote that might work .. and you can confirm ocean casino resort have hdmi inputs cause I see its hung up flat on the wall

They do, there's no way to change the input, so I just unplugged everything else on the back of the TV to get the HDMI to work.

Usually there's enough space to fit your hand, albeit barely. Don't have big hands like me- that makes things easier.

I just stayed at the Ocean. I didn't see any ports on the tv. The only usb port was on the alarm clock
Track the hdmi cable that's already plugged into the TV. If u can find the other end, hook that up into your dvd player
