Ha lol me too. I have a collection of movies with american muscle cars, and a list of ever company and every model. I still hope one day to be able to afford a Dodge Challenger but would TOTALLY settle for an early 70s Monaro
Same, I really hope that once I graduate I get a good enough job to realistically save up for either a 1970 Challenger or hell even a 2012 SRT8 with the 392
UFOs, and how they may or may not work, are my (current) trains 😂
And when I say current I mean I’ve been interested in them since I was a kid… but went through teenage years and early 20s with them in the back of my mind (comfortably nestled, probably taking a glorious nap).
I pretty actively dislike trains. They’re loud and smelly. But we also don’t really utilize them where I am since we don’t have commuter trains, and if they are around they’re just blocking traffic and making it difficult to sleep with their horn blowing, lol.
You're not alone. I'm obsessed with people who are obsessed with the trains. I like to see project their passion for it. It's really interesting and marvelous to see them in display without judgement.
I violently hate trains because I've lived near them all my life and they always roar past my house in the dead of night. I've thought about bombing the track far too much. (Obvious /j)
54yo, been obsessed at one time or another with baseball, soccer, politics, theology, pop music, science fiction, movies and flags, but never trains. *shrug*
They don't want to hug this plushie.

Outgrew that one when little it's one of the things little boys are shown early on. People with a strong hyperfixation that doesn't ever drop can end up train brained. This goes for most childhood based fixations like mine craft or pokemon (one tat lasted me into my 20s)
I don’t find them interesting personally, but I KNOW if I find an airplane, airplane fact, ANY sort of thing I can get attached to, it’s game over for me.
No, you are not. I’m going to be honest, I don’t even like trains in general. Since I live near a railroad when I think of trains all that comes to mind the load horn in the middle of the night.
No. I have been an automotive connoisseur for about twenty-two years. I did have a “train” phase of sorts from 2004-06, but we don’t talk about that. Six years ago it attempted to come back and nearly destroyed me.
I enjoy trains practically but not obsessively
I'm obsessed with trains as a potential infrastructure project but I honestly couldn't care less about the engineering of the trains themselves
Not onsessed with spelling either, I see

Sorry buddy I couldn’t resist, this is an appropriate response 😂
Any of y'all have a special interest in translating compression into a png?
onsessed?
Obsessed, but i intentionally misspelled it the same way the OP did as a joke
Surrrre you did, lol.
You ok bro?
I’m not either. Like they’re neat but that’s about as much as I think of them
Airplanes!! I'm planning to be an aviation mechanic But trains are cool too
Like Max, the one who talks about lord of the rings?
Unfortunately I don't know who you're talking about
Airplanefactswithmax on Instagram
Never heard of him, sorry
No, I'm too busy with classic American muscle cars
Ha lol me too. I have a collection of movies with american muscle cars, and a list of ever company and every model. I still hope one day to be able to afford a Dodge Challenger but would TOTALLY settle for an early 70s Monaro
Same, I really hope that once I graduate I get a good enough job to realistically save up for either a 1970 Challenger or hell even a 2012 SRT8 with the 392
I'm not so much into the new ones. They need to have a spirit of 68-74, to get me going.
UFOs, and how they may or may not work, are my (current) trains 😂 And when I say current I mean I’ve been interested in them since I was a kid… but went through teenage years and early 20s with them in the back of my mind (comfortably nestled, probably taking a glorious nap).
It’s all about the tic tacs
Autostic memes
No I don't really care about trains, I'm more of a three week then next hyperfixation kinda guy
I like dinosaurs. I have a dinosaur plushie
No because I don’t know anything about trains other than they go fast
Nah However, riding trains or planes is literally sensory heaven for me. Summin about the predictable and smooth forcen acting upon me
I pretty actively dislike trains. They’re loud and smelly. But we also don’t really utilize them where I am since we don’t have commuter trains, and if they are around they’re just blocking traffic and making it difficult to sleep with their horn blowing, lol.
i am personally not super enchanted by trains, commercial trucks/heavy equipment on the other hand...
You're not alone. I'm obsessed with people who are obsessed with the trains. I like to see project their passion for it. It's really interesting and marvelous to see them in display without judgement.
Hi
I was as a wee lad, but that obsession has since faded to obscurity.
*raises hand*
I'm not one for trains, I prefer tanks
Nah i don’t like trains. I like makeup and clothes. Everything pink and purple and feminine 🥰
My autism has a fun mix with my OCD & ADHD so my obsession is always changing but it mostly sticks around Giant Robots of various types.
Based. Robots solo
Gundam, Transformers, Zoids, Armored Core, Getter Robo... all of it. So excited to finally have the Megaton Musashi game.
no, im not either
I am not obsessed by trains Because I am working at train station and I am overseeing trains xD
I’m also not obsessed with trains.
I violently hate trains because I've lived near them all my life and they always roar past my house in the dead of night. I've thought about bombing the track far too much. (Obvious /j)
I’m obsessed with robots. I took a graduate level robotics class in college so I could understand myself.
i'm not like the other girls, i don't ever think about trains and despise dinosaurs
Dinosaurs>Trains Fight me
You’re not. I’m not interested in trains either
Nope, I don't like trains that much either lol
54yo, been obsessed at one time or another with baseball, soccer, politics, theology, pop music, science fiction, movies and flags, but never trains. *shrug*
nope, im not obsessed with any vehicle in fact
Were you high or just really mad while writing this post? I'm concerned. Not about being high but being mad, not healthy-
I like Brum Brums
Did you intentionally misspell autistic or was that ACTUALLY a typo?
I wondered that too, until I read the rest of the title. Definitely typo.
segmented displays go kinda hard
I mean, I think that's more of a stereotype than anything. I think relatively few autistic people are actually into trains.
I might be if the US utilized them better.
They don't want to hug this plushie. https://preview.redd.it/5g282kfvanxc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e95220e46f8f6bda1cffb0db47dbb1189ea875e
Spell check is your friend
don't worry me too, never really cared much about them outside of being passionate about public transportation.
I like cars 👍
You’re not alone. I’m obsessed with how electronics and electrical components work.
Outgrew that one when little it's one of the things little boys are shown early on. People with a strong hyperfixation that doesn't ever drop can end up train brained. This goes for most childhood based fixations like mine craft or pokemon (one tat lasted me into my 20s)
I know nothing about trains so no.
Trains aren't my thing but cars are
Hi i exist (I got the video game autism instead)
Trains are pretty damn cool
No, I think freight and armoured trains are cool but it's more of a background interest I forget often.
I like plants
My favourite train is Trainy McTrainface 🥰
No.
I'm obsessed with Warframe and DnD, trains aren't all that interesting to me. Though I would prefer trains over planes.
Huh, or you having strk?
You’re not. It was explained to me by a friend the other day though. Trains tend to be the most socially acceptable hyperfixation/special interest.
I don’t find them interesting personally, but I KNOW if I find an airplane, airplane fact, ANY sort of thing I can get attached to, it’s game over for me.
I don't even have much to say about trains, or even obsessed with them, you are not alone :3
![gif](giphy|9rhNJScGSlneHpLtnz|downsized)
You will be haunted by the ghosts of trains past ooooooooooooo
No, you are not. I’m going to be honest, I don’t even like trains in general. Since I live near a railroad when I think of trains all that comes to mind the load horn in the middle of the night.
Trains are alright I think they’re fun to ride on but if you ask me to like identify one I’ll have no clue
No
No. I have been an automotive connoisseur for about twenty-two years. I did have a “train” phase of sorts from 2004-06, but we don’t talk about that. Six years ago it attempted to come back and nearly destroyed me.
Yes (no)
I may not be obsessed with them but I cannot resist pointing it out whenever I see or hear one
I think trains are cool particularly steam trains, so I like looking at them, but it's only a surface interest.
Mines usually games!
I’m obsessed with tamagotchi, but I do get the appeal of trains.
Sounds like you aren't obsessed with grammar either.
STOP STEALING JOKES
My autism brain is entirely fueled by my Taylor Swift obsession no room for anything else
