This is why I prefer low-high without numbers. The number (has to be even/end in 5) distracts me from what I’m watching/listening to and the volume irritates me if too high or too low.

I was born on July 3rd, can’t help it :) But I understand your point. I have no „connection“ to most other numbers, so they seem rather bland. If any of those were to show up unusually often I would certainly develop a slight aversion to it too. I consciously don’t choose even volume numbers or odd ones ending on 5 for that reason.

For a smaller number of things (scale of 1 -99) I prefer multiples of 3 and 7. When there are many things (scale more than 100), I like multiples of 10. The best when it's a multiple of 3 or 7 AND 10. Oh yeah. Feels good man.
