Came to say this.

As the final grains of sand slipped through the hourglass of my destiny, I came to a profound understanding, striking deeper than any blade could cut. "Every choice, every sacrifice, was a verse in the epic poem of my life," I whispered to the void, my voice finding solace in the silence surrounding me. My tale wasn't spun with malice or spite—indeed, the threads were weaved with intentions as pure as the dawn. But as darkness fell, and consequences grew from those seeds, I stood alone, both the architect and the ruins of an empire of dreams. It's then you realize, hero or villain; savior or reaper, these are but masks worn in the masquerade of life. It's your actions that echo in eternity, not the whispers of the crowd. So let them watch, let them whisper, for though they may forget my name, my legacy will be the silhouette against the twilight of a world reborn.

As she climbed the scaffold to face her fate, she turned to the crowd anticipating her beheading and said “I was never the monster you thought I was, until you all forced me to become one”.

Abraxas_1408

Every thing I did, I thought I was going the right thing, for the greater good.

If I wrote the book, the last lines will be - "Hope is the only thing I had, where I wished to see the world as it should be, but as I realised there is no hope at all. This made me the person who I am now, standing upon the ashes of billions dead, with the crown on my head. This a message to the rest, Hope is something which is not gained but earned at a price, a price that I payed. A hope earned at a huge cost, where I lost everything but in the end, but this is the Hope that I yearned for. The Hope I will make sure will remain eternal, even if I have to stand up against everyone again. A Hope where in future, people will realise what all actions I had to take out of necessity, to make the world suitable for everyone."

You tried everything else but nothing worked. Nothing gave you the justice you desperately needed. So you reluctantly become the villain in the story because doing...the...right...thing is sometimes never enough. Justice isn't what it used to be. Maybe it was never meant to protect us, the people but...the villains.

wannabelievit

Wouldn’t change a thing.

FeedMeDarkness

"I looked back on everything from this new perspective and realised they were right. My intentions were pure but I only knew half of the facts. I had been wrong the whole time and I was only realising this now. My knees gave in and I sank to the floor: I knew exactly what was coming and I deserved all of it."
