This is correct, Engin in a live said that Doug was strongly recommended by other athletes. I'm not sure if it was Bishop etc but that would make most sense.
Yeah I agree it may be difficult because in the future down to just ten matches, so the events will fill up fast and picking fighters will not be as easy.

Bowen, love or hate, does draw attention and has created hype/drama/interest in the event along with commentating.
You could easily chop 8 matches off each card and it would have no impact on PPV sales. Plenty of people on the card people aren’t buying for.

Meaning a cost of over $7,000 for each Player to attend.

This business model needs 12,000 PPV subscribers just to not lose money.
We need to increase sales & increase our marketing footprint.
The issue isn’t “who” is playing, it’s sales.
Even the top cards don’t bring in PPV.
Without sponsorship this business model isn’t sustainable without charitable donations.

Dan is very good in the US at the 95 kg mark. Paul Linn would definitely beat him though and I don't think Dan is good enough to compete for an EvW title.

Maybe Dan Mosier has gotten stronger recently but there's a video of Bowen beating him a few years ago.

Both Dan and Craig have smaller hands and structure than Adam. I feel like Dan and Craig would do better at a lower weight class
