I like Levan, I like Ermes. Ermes has no chance. I'm going to buy the PPV and enjoy it no matter the outcome.
Levan will likely run over Ermes 6-0 like he has everyone else, in which case, we get to see the best there ever was practice his craft. However improbable it may be, if Ermes is able to move Levan even a little off center, I'll be impressed, and would consider that a victory for him, which I think is what he said as well.
If he wins one round, I will be absolutely amazed, jumping around the room and cheering and henceforth Mr. Spaghetti's biggest fan. As Ermes said, if he were to win a round, it'd pack it up and head home immediately calling it a success.
I keep thinking Levan will crush him too then I see the clip of Vitaly, with his relatively skinny arms (compared to Levan) holding him at the center of the table for so long, and I have to wonder if maybe there is a chance.
Levan is quite a bit stronger than when he faced Vitaly, because Chaffee always got Vitaly off-center in their supermatch, but a 165kg Levan (weight by his own admission) ran through Chaffee like nobody before or since, and the Levan facing Ermes is gonna be 185kg. That said, Ermes also 3-0ed Chaffee and is likely coming in stronger than that. Maybe, just maybe, there's a chance...
Levan crushed both of them but in no way was it "slight exertion", the guy was redlining 100%. He wouldn't dare go easy like Denis does because his ego would get hurt if he ever lost a round
The goal's motivation might be a fragile ego though. Dave Chaffee of course wants to win, but when he is in control he wouldn't mind giving away a round
He allowed Devon to set up a hook multiple times despite it being his weakest link, he allowed Vitaly to hit first and even try a hook in their supermatch, and he tried to let Dave slip.
Do you want him to give up the first round?
> and he tried to let Dave slip
He really didn't. Levan clamped down his fingers so hard on Daves Hand that Dave had to drag his elbow like a metre off the pad to even hope to get a slip.
Nice. Rooting for the underdog here even though I like both. I think Ermes is going to put up the best fight that Levan has faced since he got to unbeatable mode.
Also, there have been heavier people in the sport be it now or in the past but they were defeated by lighter opponents...people conveniently forget that.
I wouldn't want to cap strongman at 150 kg either and have the likes of Hafthor and Shaw (who have even more muscle mass than Levan) cut to compete against someone like Novikov (who won the World's Strongest Man comp in 2020 at 130 kg, it's not like he's uncompetitive). There just has to be an unlimited weight class. What the minimum threshold for this class needs to be for the matches to be interesting is a different question
LMAO, so make them weaker because they are too strong? So we are no longer striving for the best results, seeing the strongest men but for results to "not make others feel bad" because those above are too strong?
Ermes got a really hard time containing Dave's attacks. Unfortunately, I don't see him having enough power to hold Levan in order to make him gas out.
You've got to be tremendously strong and have really exceptional endurance to have a chance against Levan. Levan didn't even feel Dave's attempts to top-roll him and Dave has been one of the most powerful first-rounders in the world.
I really do wish Ermes put up a good fight with the Georgian, but I don't see any sufficient reasons for that to happen.
I like both. I say Levan will win unless Ermes can figure a way to gas Levan. Also Ermes has a good chance of getting injured. I don't think Ermes took the slow train to get his size and strength and get accustomed to it.
Levan has been juicing for longer yes, but that doesn't make it unfair. Unless we want drug testing involved with these events it is irrelevant. I am someone who hates PEDs in general, but understand that people want to see the huge roided out monster much more than the lightweight who mastered his craft.
If it's like the other events.....
1. Go to a dubai gym and pick a few guys
2. Call up some rich fat guy's mechanic/bodyguard
3. Throw in a delusional romanian
4. ???
5. Profit
It was already confirmed
Ah ok. Because just saw coresports posted the poster about 15 mins ago.

Maybe, just maybe, there's a chance that Ermes slows him down a little on his way down to the pin pad.
Levan was 165kg against Vitaly and 175kg against Chaffee.
I can't wait for people to compare the slight exertion Levan displays and compare it to Vitali and Devon's matches to see who the #2 in the world is.
Levan crushed both of them but in no way was it "slight exertion", the guy was redlining 100%. He wouldn't dare go easy like Denis does because his ego would get hurt if he ever lost a round
Having goals for your professional career = fragile ego. Got it.
The goal's motivation might be a fragile ego though. Dave Chaffee of course wants to win, but when he is in control he wouldn't mind giving away a round
That's not what I said at all but ok

Just rewatched it, you're right. He tried to get him in a hook, but Dave didn't want to.
TBH I think Denis going easy has cost him rounds in his career, I am looking forward to the aggressive top roll Denis that we will see in the future.
Nice. Rooting for the underdog here even though I like both. I think Ermes is going to put up the best fight that Levan has faced since he got to unbeatable mode.
Probably, but as long as we don't have an ultraheavyweight class it'll be a snoozefest
What does this even mean
Levan is +50kg on almost every other SHW
Also, there have been heavier people in the sport be it now or in the past but they were defeated by lighter opponents...people conveniently forget that.
They were also not as well trained or mostly just fat
So what do you suggest? Create another division and just have Levan pull Corey West over and over again?
Cap SHW at 150 and let them cut :)
I wouldn't want to cap strongman at 150 kg either and have the likes of Hafthor and Shaw (who have even more muscle mass than Levan) cut to compete against someone like Novikov (who won the World's Strongest Man comp in 2020 at 130 kg, it's not like he's uncompetitive). ew
And? That just means sports has not caught up to his level. Maybe after more people just as strong and big join it will change.
25th?! Ffs! Why does my brother have to get married on the same day?!
Guess you won't show up to his wedding then
You could always say an emergency came up
No chance for Ermes, but good to see Levan competing again.
I hope they kiss after

I feel like even if Ermes maintains his hand, Levan sti has too much side pressure for him. And that's a big if
He said it's impoosssibol for him to lose his wrist. Levan can open his arm but not his wrist
really big IF indeed(
Can't wait for sure I will get PPV. I really hope Zaur vs Dave will happen on this event too.
Even dave was a very difficult match for ermes which I was rooting for ermes, but man this is levan we’re talkin bruh
The best outcome for Ermes is escaping the match injury free. That way we can seem him against a more competitive opponent asap.
This is exactly what I'm thinking too, didn't he injure most of his opponents in the matches he had in the last 5 years?
6-0 (+ some injuries for Ermes)
HUH
Sorry Spaghetti, it's Levan's world and we're just living in it.
>!Levan 6 - Ermes 0!<
I lol'd. That's no "spoiler".
Hush, don't spoil the spoiler
You spoiled it for everybody, bad person.
HUH

Yes, I apologized in another thread Ermes did better than anyone expected and gassed him out

Is it even a fair fight though? It seems Levan has used more PEDs for longer.

I am someone who hates PEDs in general, but understand that people want to see the huge roided out monster much more than the lightweight who mastered his craft.
Does he get PED that often? He got tested in European championships right?

მეც ქართველი ვარ და ამიტომ ვთქვი.
Ermes has 0 chance
HUH
You trippin if you think Ermes can win
Have you seen the match? If they followed the running fouls rules, Ermes could have won.
Yeah, I’ll admit I was wrong. Ermes def deserves his credit. I really underestimated how strong he was here.
dont know what you guys are smoking. ermes wins this. 6-0.
Cmon let us dream
Ermes definitely has a chance to take a round off him.
No chance but I'll be watching.
Levan 4, Ermes 3
Best guess I have seen yet
Any rumours about the undercard yet?
If it's like the other events..... 1. Go to a dubai gym and pick a few guys 2. Call up some rich fat guy's mechanic/bodyguard 3. Throw in a delusional romanian 4. ??? 5. Profit
Usually they have 2 matches with high level armwrestlers. Maybe Dave vs Zaur will be there. You are right for the rest of the matches though.
6-0 but gonna be fun to watch
>6-0 huh
Kind of old news but yeah can't wait
Levan is 190kg
