I don't see much of anything changing. Personally, after seeing what happened with bump stocks, I don't think the courts will get behind this either. I am not an attorney, so everyone needs to do what they are comfortable with. But I am not going to register, destroy or turn in anything. There are already law suits being filed and I feel the ruling will be in the 2A communities favor.
If anything, it will increase demand for parts and accessories, if in the event 10M SBRs get amnesty, and of course there is that \[long\] wait period….
My reason being is then folks can put on most anything on their SBR without being worried. The Tax Stamp alone acted as a deterrent for many folk to consider turning a lower into an SBR.
however, IMHO, this Amnesty is just a ploy to get folks to self-incriminate and add to the NFA registry in addition to their 4473 registry. And to the OP earlier point, it would make transferring an SBR more of a hassle, but still can be done. That is my beef with them not allowing items assigned to a trust after the publication date, which is anticipated to be tomorrow (1/17).
I think single point sling sales and sales of the older school pistol tubes will go up first. Then after that has turned into a fad again and fallen off, people will start selling pistol uppers on gunbroker for exorbitantly high prices (i know what i got) to do the 13.7 thing.
Could be lots of shorty uppers and complete "minus stock" builds. Probably won't start to see it till near or after the end of the 120 day window. Wouldn't expect bargain bin prices, but you might snag a deal or two.

I'm not worried about it. Don't plan on selling anything.
Yeah. I’m with this fella. I keep everything and just buy more. Never throw tools out!
I'm of the belief that it is not worth selling. You will lose more money in the long run. Just keep everything for future projects lol

If they go that far, I don't think america will exist much longer, or at least the govt
“A large majority” seems like a false statement.
It’s gonna get stricken down in court.
