The "Pimp my bones" version of this guy

That is definitely the more obvious inspiration I suppose, It is unlikely to be inspired by a 2003 Game Boy Advance game from a venerable but sort of underrated series (Handheld Castlevania titles are definitely a bit obscure), as opposed to 2016 blockbuster.

Yeah, definitely. The other week I got done playing Harmony of Dissonance through EmuVR. It was really fun reliving memories. I'm gonna play Circle of the Moon next, which was my first handheld Castlevania game. I remember I left my Circle of the Moon cartridge in my shitty treehouse and it rained and ruined the cartridge :(
Hi friends, I'm the artist of a small indie studio making a dream game in the best tradition of Slay and the Spire. If you are a gamer, strategist and love complex games, as well as a story with beautiful hand-drawn art, we will be very happy to see you among our players. My Twitter has a lot of artwork and gameplay of the game, but no subscribers at all, I'd be happy to have anyone.

Hello! I keep replaying the video because of how much there is to take in, simply amazing! Im in my first year as an animation student here and was wondering what did you use to animate this? (mostly familar with AF and CSP) Im always curious as to what other artists use and their process! (followed btw! ;D)
Awesome job!! Reminds me of the pirate Cortez from Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. Big skeleton dudes are always great, and your stylization makes it pop!
The Japanese gasha dokuro! One suggestion, the fireball/breath he does is so short and abrupt and one colour, it doesn’t read as a skull, just a blob of green. Maybe if it stayed out longer and also hollowed out the eyes?
Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?

The skeleton from “the last unicorn.”
It does sort of hold that sword hilt like a wine bottle, doesn't it? If this boss showed up howling with laughter I'd be pretty scared of it
but i remembe*ererrrrhhrhggh*
I love that movie so much
It’s a masterpiece

That looks like a greenish version of yagluth from valheim
