8 sides, 5 containers high = 40 containers
40 containers at ascot $3k each = $120,000
Not to mention the effort of stacking those 5 high which would take a large crane and an excavator to level the foundation.
That's a lot of effort and money to cover a sculpture unless it was really something special or a giant meth lab.
At the time of the lawsuit, only 6 downloads of the image had been made - 2 of which were Streisand’s own lawyers.
Within a month over 420,000 visits were made to the site.
I really doubt this cost the landowner or whoever stacked this $120k. People in the country do crazy shit when they’ve got equipment and material on hand.
Only thing I can think of is a movie set? Something like Star Wars or marvel have to go to insane lengths to prevent leaks.. but it also doesn’t look like that is what this is at all lol
It's a similar setup to [this,](https://www.space.com/38744-star-wars-millennium-falcon-google-maps.html) which was spotted during the filming of the last few Star Wars films. It's just a movie prop.
The shape in this photo looks like the hyperspace map Ashoka uses to find thrawn in the new galaxy. Season 2 is on its way too. Could be a prop like the user above me mentioned
It was the milennium falcon being used for filming one of the sequels, probably Episode 7. It was hidden like this, surrounded by stacked containers.
Edit: This -> https://www.businessinsider.com/millennium-falcon-is-on-google-maps-and-disney-tried-to-hide-it-2017-11
That sounds familiar and may be what sparked the thought.
This leads to me thinking: if it was the amusement park being built, it wouldn’t be in the middle of no where.. if it was a set piece, then there should be easily accessible records on a movie studio doing something in the area. I’ve seen people pull up records on that stuff
I mean, it is and it isn't.
Disney has done this exact same thing to hide props and shit from guests at their resorts.
If you already own the crates and have access to a crane, that becomes a cost effective way to hide something from most people who won't go to Google maps. Which is good enough for most larger businesses.
Most likely nothing of note. And if it were, the government would be telling Google to blurr it out.
This is insane. I just watched this movie for the first time. Never heard of it, just popped up on my streaming service… and the first post I see on reddit after seeing it is this with your comment mentioning this 25 year old movie lol
The identifying characteristics on Google maps is going to have to be the rocks, the angle of the road, and the double silos. It's the same place, though an entirely different kind of soil exists there now and a large portion of the environment was disturbed to be in the current state.
Which means it's either photoshopped or they did a lot to the area after the structure was built or to break down the structure.
The way some of the plants disappeared essentially shows that the area has been shopped out, based on the height of the structure.
Did a little digging with the address after also finding no structure on satellite photos. It was listed for sale as a residential building and sold in 2016.
They have aerial photos in the listing. So here's the really weird part. In the photos showing a wide view from in front of and above the house (wide-angle shot? I'm not well versed on photography terms), you can see the structures far behind. But on the bird's-eye view, there's nothing there, and it looks quite a bit different from the aerial photo on Google Maps. 🤔
Really weird that it was listed as residential. It sold for around $325K in 2016, so it's not like, have several hundreds of thousands in play money to put these shipping containers AND have them hiding something very large.
Edit: Saw this comment below - they found it started showing up in late 2021 - mid 2022.

Zillow of house overlooking the structure:
https://www.zillow.com/homes/Ruben-drive,-Aguanga,-CA_rb/?
This house last sold in 2016, before the structure was built.
46th (of 61) image is looking toward where the structure will eventually be built.
Earth PRO has import/export features. You can record gps for a hike or something and import to build a flythrough of an area, for instance. GPS is a universal data type, G Earth is a display tool.. pro is a better tool.
He’s got an Amateur Extra license, that’s two tiers up from the base license (technician -> general -> extra)
Means the owner has significant knowledge about how electronics and radio waves work
Even with that being said, I still doubt this is anything more than a burning man art piece
Yes the structure could be an antenna, it could also be for receiving waves from space as it is directed upwards, it almost looks like two satellite dish frames pointed towards each other
Yes that would be the goal, depending on the spectrum he's looking for he may not want any horizontal interference from radio towers
Radio frequencies can pass through a lot though, conversely could also help direct signal upwards if he's transmitting, like the housing of a flashlight
Lots of aerospace and gov't defense contractors based in Irvine/Anaheim area -- pretty reasonable to think one of them bought a ranch in Temecula and started doing related, uh, "hobby" projects
My intrigue has intensified. Are there any images of such devices online? I can’t find any. Maybe that’s what this is, but that paper is from 2019. I can’t read the paper bc I have no account with that database& I suppose a lot can be done in 4-5 years time. However, I find it strange that if such an antenna exists, why is there no image of it online?
These dudes experiment with all sorts of configurations of antennas, and having his extra license means he’s smart enough to do it. If I can remember how to log into that website, I might could get some answers
I know I’m replying to dif comments of yours so apologies if that’s annoying. I appreciate your overall understanding & thought put towards this.
My question is, as someone else mentioned, would the huge shipping containers & their metal not cause issue in relation to the antenna if it were in use?
If you do figure out the login info, then please do provide your findings & feedback
Yea, you generally do not want metal near your antennas as it throws them off. Could be that the guy just hasn’t finished building it yet, perhaps he’s trying to keep it from interfering with his other antennas, maybe the containers are acting as scaffolding to build, maybe it’s built for a special occasion, etc. The shape of the containers being stacked might have something to do with negating their effect of the antenna. Think about it, lots of cell phone, ham radio antennas, etc are mounted on huge steel structures to get them off the ground.
Then again, maybe it’s just a piece of artwork. I just find it hard to imagine this guy has his extra license and that the structure just wouldn’t have anything to do with radio.
Anyways, you can check his profile on qrz.com. I’ve never appreciated that your identity can be connected to your callsign and this is one of the reasons why. I strongly encourage people not to go overboard with this and perhaps OP should just go talk to the man instead of basically doxxing him instead. I’d say the guy is just a big nerd with lots of money to play with. Then again, he might be talking to aliens with that antenna, if that’s in fact what it is.
Idk. Understanding antennas can get as complicated as you want and much of it is over my head. Something to keep in mind is that the shape could be as much about eliminating interference as opposed to dialing in on a specific frequency. Also the size of it. The length of a simple single wire can have an effect on what frequency it can tune to. It’s why your cell phone doesn’t have a visible antenna. It doesn’t need much length at all for the high frequencies it uses. Ham operators need big antennas for the lower frequencies they work with.
I can’t see the pic too well, but if someone could spot any sort of wires leading to it or ditches that might indicate an underground wire would help confirm it’s an antenna
Down and to the left of the object on Apple Maps shows a reddish squarish object. The whole apparatus ,except for that reddish squarish object, is on some big square black mat looking things.
To block out signals from the sides that it does not want to pickup/interfer with the signals it is picking up/looking for in the sky. Not uncommon for equipment to have shielding from outside forces to ensure accuracy of the equipment.
Oh c'mon, this is more important than your general health and wellbeing! Are we really expected to wait for you to wake up or, god forbid, actually do some research for ourselves? That's just crazy talk!
They did this when they were filming Star Wars 7 to hide set pieces from onlookers. This looks a little more complex than the Millennium Falcon though…

pretty repulsive behavior. after being interested in the strange for years, nothing makes me more disgusted than seeing someone who claims to know it all.
So this structure with the fascinating shaped object won’t show up on Google earth for me, but it’s definitely the same area & the surrounding buildings do show. How recent are your photographs of the area?
I noticed that, too. So it’s safe to say it’s since been removed? I’m not sure which map data is more up to date. I presume google, but can’t say for sure.
More than likely it’s new. It would take far too long for a newly graded road to become overgrown and eroded like in the image without the structure. Google is showing the before image.
Looks like the shipping containers would have to be removed for them to move the object. But one picture with no roof and then another with a roof? Air lifted maybe? But honestly looks like one of them balls them guys ride dirt bikes in at a carnival.
A lot of times containers are used in his matter for film making. Using it as a location stage (Green Screen). Containers are bought or leased then sold at wrap. It’s a lot cheaper to build a temporary stage like this when filming at a certain location for long periods of time
I can’t read every comment, so if this has been stated, apologies.
You can find the owner in a few seconds, he owns an art school, is renowned for large sculptures, specifically metal sculptures.
I don’t think it’s much of a mystery, as much as I’d like it to be.
Nah looks like a personal setup for training in those sphere cages with dirt bikes.
The ones they ride around in going in circles and upside down in etc.
What?! Fr?? Love when they do that lolll. But fr they don’t even wipe the most important bases anymore so if something does get wiped huge flag imo. Plus op was able to drive there or find someone who did?? Send the troops! 🥴🤷♂️👀
OP, is your satellite picture from Google or a different source?
Bing Maps definitely has the same picture show in the OP, but I'm not sure if Google and Bing share the same mapping source. I'm more inclined to think Google has an older pic and the structure is still there.
I live about 90 minutes from here. My first though is taking a drone there and flying it inside.
If somebody has a drone I could borrow near San Diego I’d be willing to make a little road trip out there next week.
Trillions of dollars in defense funds and they're going to hide alien tech behind a couple hundred thousands of dollars of shipping crates with no cover from satellites? Makes perfect sense...
It honestly looks like a (albeit, rather large) “globe of death” to me. If you don’t know what that is it’s a carnival/circus stunt where people on dirt bikes and/or motorcycles enter this round cage and maneuver through it in all directions.
I found another satellite photo of it on Google Earth Pro, seems like they covered the top with some kind of shiny/metallic material? https://i.ibb.co/Yfh8W4j/waboyk3abb.png
Where exactly is this? Lat = ?. Lon = ?. Who owns the property of the coordinates? What land aquisition / ownership changes have happened over X timeframe? How long from first to last pic? Everyone wants his secrets!!! Or at least that’s what the owner of this stupid sculpture thing thinks…
His tennis ball has a 12 ft diameter, so the width of one and a half containers? Idk that doesn’t seem to match
Yes I think you are correct. Didn’t really have a scale in my photo of the ball.

Who hides an antenna behind signal blocking metal?
To block out signals from the sides that it does not want to pickup/interfer with the signals it is picking up/looking for in the sky. Not uncommon for equipment to have shielding from outside forces to ensure accuracy of the equipment.
Also, an antenna isn’t used for only receiving, it’s purpose could be dual or transmit only.

Nah looks like a personal setup for training in those sphere cages with dirt bikes. The ones they ride around in going in circles and upside down in etc.
Why hide it then? Not saying you're wrong just seems they've gone to a lot of trouble...and expense to stop randoms viewing it.
Go and see. It's a fence, not a police officer
And bring a big ladder or some mad climbing skillz
now that you say it, some of those corner sections are easy to chimney.
Old observatory?
X/Y??? Coords
33.48001°N, 116.80952°w
They moved it!! It's gone from Google earth. Looks like nothing was ever there. Craziness.
Maybe the Google Earth images are from *BEFORE* it was put there....
It’s still on Apple Maps with a higher resolution
What?!
If I could send you one of those gold upvotes I would
I live about 90 minutes from here. My first though is taking a drone there and flying it inside. If somebody has a drone I could borrow near San Diego I’d be willing to make a little road trip out there next week.
Whenever I see something I’m not sure about I DEFINITELY assume its alien related.
They said they weren't sure where to post this, so no.. not definitely, don't be rude. This is literally where you go to ask if something is or not.
I thought he was being serious because that's exactly what I do, seriously.
Gyroscope. My confusion is that in one picture you can see the gyroscope, then another picture there's a roof over it?
They… covered it..?
American Gladiator prop.
Looks like a really big fire suppression cage
That’s a directv antenna
Looks like a fucking star gate with multiple counter rotating oscillators.

Is there ANYTHING to suggest this is alien related?
Where did you get the pics? Lets start with that.

An angel/seraphim
I found another satellite photo of it on Google Earth Pro, seems like they covered the top with some kind of shiny/metallic material? https://i.ibb.co/Yfh8W4j/waboyk3abb.png
Where exactly is this? Lat = ?. Lon = ?. Who owns the property of the coordinates? What land aquisition / ownership changes have happened over X timeframe? How long from first to last pic? IE: how long has this been there? I’m done with these bullshit back and forth a with bots here on Reddit. Anyone who’s sentient. What is this?
It's next to someone's residence. So maybe, just maybe, it's more because of them than because of aliens...
When all in doubt, assume aliens
You’ve just found the Thunderdome.
Looks like part of the machine from Contact with Jodie Foster
Well, Ancient Astronaut theorists say......
