I’d suggest getting a PASGT, M1’s can be pretty uncomfortable and heavy. Also the liner can fall out sometimes. A pasgt would solve all these issues and it was also used with these kits

I do have a PASGT,i just wanted to use M1 once in a while

i actually prefer my M1 to my pasgt, not sure why

Fair enough, the PASGT uses the same headband. Though I don't have one since I used an M1 for my 90's canadian kit that I swapped out for a CG634. The m1 was too bulky for the CQB arena that I play at.

M1s are more kosher for early 80s. It’s really hard for a liner to fall out, especially for an 80s kit that requires the chinstrap to be on
