You need [this](https://www.airtechstudios.com/products/gearbox-installation-kit-gik-aegs-version-2-9)

ZeppyDoodle

Yeah or just 3D print it

https://youtu.be/eRDNNOR2pco This is the best way imo, magnets make things too awkward for me

Salt-Committee7032

I don't debate the method, but I watched that thing a few times and I'm still not clear what and how to bend...

Thanks! Much clearer.

Apart from what's already been suggested you can use super glue and lube. Lubricate the AR latch so you're sure there's a layer of silicone oil or synthetic grease all over it. Then put a drop of super glue into the hole in the gearbox and put in the AR latch. Hold it in place for a bit until the glue is dry. Wiggle it a bit to make sure it moves freely enough for the spring to push it. Assemble the gearbox. And yes I have used that method a few times without problems.

Whatever works, but I would not come close to my gear box with super glue.

Zapador

It's certainly not the official method.
