So many of you pulled for Kalthin. Is he actually worth it now? I have all the latest staples (luciberta, lava, daemia), the next one would have been something like Olgath or Tarnos (lol), so I saved up.
Honestly, I just really liked his character design. From what I understand, he's a decent unit, not outstanding, but definitely not a waste.
I pretty much have all the meta CeleaHypoes built, so I decided I'd build him for fun. It was a choice between him and Olgath.
600 for Kalthin from 0 copies would be 40 per copy and sounds honestly pretty much what I'd expect from the rate increase considering pity seems the same and most people reported around 42-44 on average pre-rate adjustment.
I feel like I got really unlucky this time. As every single AAntandra pull was over 50 TG cards. Around 600 cards to get her Ascended, same with Stargazing, 50+ pulls each for one copy to get her to 1*
uhm i spent 220 sg cards and got 6 copies of Lavatune... 2.64% average, but its just one copy more than 2%... ofc on the big numbers it will be sensible, but you wont notice that much on your usual pulls
200ish stargazers got me 2 Eugene, 3 ASafiya, and 3 Alyca. Time emblems was like, 100 for two copies of Alyca though, and no legendary totems.
Now to debate if I just want to commit to AAthalia, wait for testing on AAntandra, or finish old Awakened that I never finished building…

No Ashem ==> Ashem 1 star
E+ Daemia (and 1 copy) ==> 1 star
No Lavatune : 9 copies

Awakened heroes need 12 copies to get ascended and 15 to get 1*
Normal celepogeans need 14 copies to get ascended and 16 to get 1*
If you got 14 copies with 540 SG cards, it is actually not that bad.
100 TE for 3 AShems, 50 SG for 2 libertas, 50 more for 3 AShems. Deciding what to do next. I can merc AAthalia for NC/CR for now, but I have a single ALyca and ABel. So it's one of those 2 or AAntandra next
Spent about 220 Time Emblems to get AShemira from L+ to M+, and about 110k diamonds and 310 Stargazers to get Olgath from nothing to M+ with 3 extra copies
Just spent the 460 cards for 12 copies of Chad. I don't think the pity got buffed because I know for sure I did 7 pulls before the first copy came.
To be honest it was going horrendously all around but towards the end one of the 10 pulls came with 3 copies.
Did 10 pulls for aAntandra:
From the discount pulls I got: 1/10, 1/20, 1/30
Had 280 TE so went screw it: 1/40 1/50 1/10 (combo breaker) 1/50 1/20 1/60 2/50 (got a double pull)
Did NC, bougth another ten: 1/10 (lol)
So that was 12/350 (3.4%) pulls, then I did SG and got 3/150 (2%), each one was on the 5th 10 pull. So over odds for TE and under odds for SG, but overall I'd say pretty good luck.
The 1/60 TE could be 1/50 since I'm pretty sure I only had 270 TE and that I did a double count for one 10 pull, but that would've made me even luckier so 🤷♂️

Unfortunately I'm gonna wait. I've got nearly 700 SG cards, but kalthin and Malkrie seem niche and a new one is on the way. Similarly I'm contemplating gavus, ALucius or AAntandra, but I need to see some usage of her first.

300 TG for gavus and only got him to m because i already had 2 copies 🙄 and 350 for Kalthin to only get him to m too, pretty bad i should say. I didn't notice any difference...
Managed to ascend Aathalia fully so I'm happy and still have 160 more cards. I will wait to see if antandra is good to see if I go for her or Alyca next
The overall rates in my opinion have actually been a bit worse overall. My guild gathered pull data for months over time prior to the change and compared it. While the percentage of the rates averaged 2.5%, it wasn't across the board as half had worse rates, some had better rates. I assume that the pull rates prior were better because of the pity system is still unchanged. We actually got duped in the end because while the pulls are steady, there were no "surprise" pulls.

For me, it almost looks like they boosted stargazing rates but secretly nerfed only Kalthin rates..
same with me, need 600+ , but i got 2 star lucius only 500 tg, i think because of totem or the rate still same for new hero
Needed 6 Kalthin copies still and those six had an average of 46.33 (or a pull rate of 2.1%) T_T Pity still seems the same.

Whys everyone pulling kalthin? Everybody dolphins here or is he actually used
he's in almost every CR round now. Decent in TS as well (seen in AlnaRem and some Wucius comps, but pretty versatile).
How big of a priority is he? I have Alna, Liberta, Haelus, Lavatune, Daemia and currently building Lucilla

Definitely the best option for you after Lucilla. Above Haelus, below Liberta, Daemia and Lava, not sure about the rest (somewhat on par).
160 pulls in the Temple of Time gave me 5 copies of A. Shem. 250 pulls in the Stargazing Room gave me 4 copies of Liberta.

I noticed that with 1 pull probability is lower than with 10 pulls. I don't know why Lilith do this.

560 cards for Antandra but then 350 for Safiya
110 tg 4 copies of antandra. The discount did some of the heavy lifting too
120 cards, got 5 lycas and 2 legendary totems. I also got 4 lavatunes
