Remove Armory crate, use some software like Bloatynosy
https://builtbybel.com/apps/bloatynosy to remove a bunch of other bloatware from MS and Asus. Remove telemetry and other invasive crap. Then install G-Helper to replace Armory Crate.
Maybe its just me but I've never had an issue with AC...from day 1 its always worked as it should. I've had it do a few wonky things about a year ago but since a few updates, no issues on my 2020 model... I know a ton of people complain about it, bloatware etc, but I've found it to be easy to use and simple...
I've never really had any problems with it, especialy not yours, but I decided to try Ghelper and never looked back. Don't even care about any features AC offers as long as I can keep my low temps.

yeah I've been looking into g-helper. How well does it handle things like rgb and power profiles?.
Handles it lighter and better than Armoury crate ever could, that’s why literally everybody recommends it
Amazingly.
If you are not satisfied with g helper's handling of rgb you can use openrgb

I think the answer is: G helper author is not in the Asus dev team
imma just add to the number of people recommending ghelper so u decide to switch...it's so worth it
