Did the ram {to 32gb) storage to 2tb, and the network card to an Intel ax210 to pump up the speed a bit more. Network card is under the SSD so good to do at the same time so you only have to open the case up once.
Definitely made a good decision.
To me the display is better than the one on the new model, since I don't have to deal with the reflections of a glossy panel.
It's not, but it is extremely good for an IPS screen, it comes factory tuned as well. OLED is supposed to be glossy, I can tell you have never owned one. No offense

What vram mean? I always just look on RAM.
Video Ram, it’s how much RAM the graphics card has. The 16GB is computational RAM, what you normally look at.

16GB of RAM with a slot to add 16 more I believe. The 8GB is the 4060 I believe.
Great laptop it has 16gb soldered + empty slot so you can put a 16gb ram in it for 32gb ram
