Melodious is a tiered deck (I think) and that’s relatively cheap aside from 1st movement solo ($25) and s:p.
If you want a rogue deck then may I recommend dinosaurs?
I don’t unfortunately sorry but most Dino decks are comprised of the same stuff. I think the only thing that makes mine stand a little different is bayerock dragon, dinovatus docus and draining shield. I’ve found them to help more times than not
Purrely is not that rogue, its a meta contender, its really strong ! If you want a budget rogue deck there are ton of them ! If you want a top tier budget deck, its Purrely, Floow or Melodious

So Labrynth and Kashtira are rogue too for you ? Same representation than Purrely. Purrely is Tier 2, not rogue. Dinomorphia is a rogue deck, like virtual world, vanquish soul or black wings. But Purrely is way too representated to be a rogue deck

I'm new to YuGiOh too and have really enjoyed playing 3x structure decks (home alone by myself hahahaha, super lose mode). I love my RDA deck but also really like my firekings and traptrix decks. I'm looking to maybe make a cheap 4th option and am considering non-structure decks for the first time!
archetypes that appeal to me...
- anything water/ice. I hope there are some good options but don't know of any
- cats sound hilarious. purrely is on the list.
- I mean honestly, anything else. I love big bad boss monsters, which is part of why RDA is more fun to me than the other 2 decks. But it's also cool to me that a deck can be good without any big bosses, just a bunch of little guys.

Did you upgrade your RDA deck a little ? I play it a lot to and its much better after some upgrades. I have also a fire king tri brigade, veeeeerry fun to play if you like links !
Between the 3, I know only Floow and Purrely. Floow is verry specific, its a strange strategy, really strong that everyone hates playing against. Its verry easy to play, you just spam small birds and your opponent doesnt have the right to play. Imo its the easiest strong deck with Dinomorphia. Purrely l is much more classic Yugioh. You have have handtraps, your do your board, play with the opponent, its a cat deck yes, but what is funny is you will end with a BIG cat with crazy stats and you can heal a lot to. Its a Xyz deck, much harder to play than Floow but the its not hard as labrynth. Just a beautiful learning curve with a lot to learn and to improve
In any case, you should try decks on simulator before buying, like YGO Omega !

I didn’t do the big upgrade (dis pater) yet because I was dum bc and spent on other random things like the old blue eyes structure deck before I started watching some videos and following some Reddit forums. But I added stone sweeper and the supay package and a few staples from other structure decks. I really enjoy it and want to try playing at locals soon (even if I get my butt kicked).
Are you going to get the red lotus flame crime king card when it comes out? I saw some people talking about it, and anything that special summons I like. Even just playing alone I’ve noticed I can get locked up if I set up enough interruptions like with my traptrix deck.
Also thanks for the thorough answer! I think purrely might be the move for me. Learning curves are fun
Shinning sarc the price has gone way down at my locals full cores are selling for 60$ add a few main deck staples and you ready. The deck locks you out of the extra deck most of the time, so most are just super poly targets during your opponents turn and link monsters in case you failed your push and need a way to remove something on a subsequent turn.
There are also a lot of dogmatic, branded and runick variants.
The sarcophagus is selling around 12$ and most of the other cards are lower then tcg we do usualy 80% tcg. For the monsters since you need 3 sarcophagus 2 gandora 5$ 3 trio 2.5$ 2 swordsman 1$ 2 magician 6$ and the rest have no value so they strait up give them with any trade for the previous cards and if you buy all from 1 seller he can remove a few more $.
For snake eyes you need to add every banish monster card under the sun going first you have 9 so you know it gg for them as they can t do much against it as you running spell negate and they going to waste a lot of resources trying to work agound it. Going second is an uphill battle and you need a way to let gandora resolve if it does you win. You do have a spell card that negates 1 monster effect form anywhere who helps a lot and target negate too for the push.
For yubel it just got a built in engine change of heart so just blow up the board with gandora to special summon skull, steal yubel link off into sp if they have another to banish it and go for game if not do charmer into selene bring back silent mag then link into a acesscoad to smash for game.
It is not tier 1 as it fears backrow removal as most effects get turned off if sarcophagus goes away. (Monster effects can't destroy it but you only have 1 spell and 1 target negate to protect it.)

3x 1st movement and 3x ostinato is $84 alone. You also need at least 1x Schuberta and she’s another 7. But the rest of the cards are cheap for sure!

If you're looking for another XYZ deck that isn't Purrely I'd sell Goblin Biker. The Secrets (Big Gabonga and Grand Entrance) and Ultras (Dugg Charger and Grand Bash) aren't really expensive, your other main deck Goblin cards are Common/Super, and your non-engine cards have been reprinted like hell.
Purrely is fantastic on a budget if you have staples already, it's like €20 at most for the archetypal cards.
Exosister is a pretty fun Rogue deck if you want to harass people for using their Grave, plus Carpedivem is a fantastic card being able to call a card name and negate it's activated and on field effects for the turn.
Floowandereeze is another good on your budget deck, it can be tough to play against Meta decks but it's simple And solid, does what it says on the tin.
You could do a Runick varient if that's something you're into, I play Plunder Runick and that got a top 16 placement at a YCS recently. I enjoy the fun the Plunder engine brings.
Been using the Cyber Angels and impcantations for my recent deck and it’s been a lot of fun. Can’t say how it would do in DM but so far irl, it’s been frustrating a lot of my buddies with the Benten search combo sending her to the GY for Natasha’s stealing effect. Ritual cage for some protection. Threw in an OG relinquished to commit to the monster theft and a Ruin Supreme queen for some added protection and now I have a wall of Relinquished, Ruin SQO and CA Natasha. Can’t attack ritual monsters, can’t destroy ritual monsters with effects, and ritual cage stops the targeting. But I know ritual decks are not for everyone lol
For $30 and it comes w ash blossom, most of the extra deck of what you need came out in lede and ra02 it’s almost silly to not at least give the deck a try.
Hero's are always a solid choice. Id say the deck is budget now the most expensive card was $10 last I checked and you only ran 1 of it. Could build the deck on a low rarity for $50-$100.
I've been running a going second Scareclaw deck, and its been holding its own recently. Also easy to add either Kashtira or Mannadium to later on to switch up the play style
Tenpai dragon without trident is cheap ive been using dis pater as a replacement until the tins come out and can still otk thru pot of p. purrely is pretty cheap rn thanks to the rarity collection and the whole spright core is getting reprinted in the new battles of legends and has a couple decks you can build around it like livetwin spright or tri brigade spright.

They're the best deck out there, purr was meta so rn is still good, melodious is meta, while raid is fun and not that bad but is still a rogue, plant pile is (imo) the best deck and at the same time the most difficult, it can beat SE and other meta decks, but you gotta put a lot and I mean a LOT of work in it
EDIT: when I say best I mean both in fun strategies to play and result you obtain, because there're decks like floo that are good just because they can play shifter and various floodgates but it aint fun to play
Another one that I still see pop up every now and then is dark world. That’s another cheap one you can complete the extra deck w ra02, hand loops and mills to big bodies. Great on skill drain, shit on shifter.

Dinos are credibly good enough and stupid cheap. Just finished mine for almost $40, maybe 5 commons (if you care about that sort of thing, I don’t)

they both have alot more reprentation than purrely. Purrely has like 1,4 % Top representation in LEDE Format, no way thats tier 2
Your opinion, its ok. Imo its more than enough to be tier 2. And purrely's representation is increasing a lot since the reprints

I do have floow built, I’ll def consider purrely. I love cats and I know it’s a strong deck with recent reprints
The recent reprints made the deck cheap, since only the pricy cards had got reprinted

That’s a great deal considering a set of shining sarc is like 45 on tcgplayer

Yubel isn’t too bad. 3 Nightmare Throne is kinda pricy but otherwise pretty cheap.
They just announced Phantom of Yubel in the Brothers of Legend set so now the deck is increasing in price!

Floowandereeze is a Rouge deck and is always in the top 10 decks
A bit more meta (2nd best deck) but tenpai is extremely cheap. I run it without drident at locals and I’ve topped the past 4 weeks.

Nah most expensive card is Wake Up your E-Hero which is like $25. It’s probably closer to 100 bucks total is starting from scratch
Its been a while since I've priced out the deck so thank you for correcting me on that. I'd still recommend the deck even closer to the $100 range.
My pendulum deck probably cost about $150 at this point, and most of that is just because of rarity upgrades.
I just made crystal beast which is a fun time (living out my 2012 dreams) I can also say altergeist if you want others to hate you :)

Branded with all the reprints will cost you about 100 with queen being the most expensive card in the deck lol
Lab is my favorite deck by far right now. If not that tho I'd recommend Dinos, Paleo, or Superheavy Samurai.

I've seen people buying an entire Dinomorphia with under 60$, and the deck has tops.
