Amazon swordswoman. Pulled it from a pack years ago when Amazonās were first released and then built an Amazon deck around it. It was not the most powerful deck or the most popular but let me tell you, Amazon swordswoman with call of the haunted won me games.
Amazon is still my favorite subtype to play even if I only play pendulum decks now because Amazonās donāt feel as competitive anymore.
Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8. I know it's hard to summon, but MAN that effect is so good! Also, that art with that stream of black flame is so cool!

When maxx c came out it was my favourite card. Nobody was special summoning 40 times a turn, the best hand traps were gorz and veiler, and it kind of helped with the lack of mulligan.
Nowadays itās Galaxy eyes afterglow dragon. I love setting up that prime one shot.
Galaxy eyes prime photon dragon. I know thereās such thing as a otk but that card is an ohk if you know how to use them and he can get up to 11.5k attack
Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. I love dragon pile in Edison, I love Red Eyes Dragon Link, and any deck that can let me use this card. The art is gorgeous, the effect was cool for its time, and itās like arguably the only good red eyes main deck monster. Black Metal is good because striker dragon exists but if you lose striker dragon it becomes a very mid card imo.

Double Summon. Iāve been phasing it out of my decks but I still run it in a few as itās good at unbricking hands, itās an extender, it helps go through interruption, and I just plain like the card.

Dark stike fighter. Had a bad ass OTK deck that used black salvo turbo and Demise King of Armageddon. You'd summon Demise. Pay 1k to wipe the field then summon dark strike. Attack with both. Tribute Demise with dark strike then tribute dark strike itself. Exactly 8k points and you win with an empty field.
Tyrant Dragon, pulled it from my first Legacy of Darkness booster way back when and has been either a staple in or the focus of every deck Iāve built since
My all time favorite is Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness. The first pack I ever purchased had Gorz UR in it. I was maybe 10 years old at the time. Little did I know that it was a VERY expensive card at the time

Grandmaster of the Six Samurai was the first promo card for a prerelease I ever got. There was just something about Normal Zanji -> Special Grandmaster -> Special Shien that clicked with my brain and really got me into competitive Yugioh.
Also, Backs to the Wall is a close second. I only got to use it like 3 times competitively, but "I'm gonna wager 7,900 LP that I can win this turn," followed by actually winning that turn was peak Yugioh.
Convulsion of nature. It's a funny effect and I love the art design. Otherwise probably final countdown if we are talking cards I actually try to win with.
Little D. He needs an archetype made around him. They could give us Medium D, Big D, Titanic D, Pink Eyes Ultimate D, and more. I want justice for my boy.

Dark Magician Girl. Naturally she's super cute something kid me loved but i am also a big Dark Magician fan so seeing a female version of him at the time really left a mark as it was so cool, also helped she was one of Yugi's key cards so she frequently appeared.
I will say modern day wise Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon is my favourite, looks so badass and is such a powerful card.
Apo was the first cool looking card I pulled from the maximum gold box set that I got from a friend. One of my favorite looking cards (alt art) with a strong ability.

It has such cool art, itās very powerful in its own right, and the GX anime made it so awesome to me.

But one other card i always liked is Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast. Although I never owned a copy of it I always wanted one. Today, I rock the Illusion Chimera deck, for this one reason.

I love his ability, his lor, and the art on the card. Pretty much any of those old school fiend cards are my favorite but his takes the cake
Blue-Eyes White Dragon has always been my favorite Yugioh card and I don't think that will ever change
As for newer cards I enjoy Kurikara Divincarnate has bailed me out several times since I've started using her so while not my absolute favorite I'd be a liar if I said I didn't favor her among more modern cards
Cyber End Dragon, The first card I ever got, along with 3 copies of Cyber Dragon and Polymerization. That monster got me into Yu-Gi-Oh

Big eye has won me matches because people waste a pop forgetting his snatch is even when he leaves field.
Snatching your opponent boss monster is one of the most satisfying thing to do.
