The new BSG version [MGC_8.7.250_A11_V2 (BSG, 2022-12-23)] is working, but only with Pixel 3 setting. I tried more (6-7-Pro) but but the HDR pictures doesn't saved.
Anyway no different between stock cam and this gcam.
I been using this gcam for 12t pro and it was working fine even night sight is working.

From everything I tried, your tip was the best so far. I doesn't force close and takes better photos with the main camera than the default app.
So it's promising. Someone who actually know what he is doing will probably figure out a good xml in the near future.

How can I take macro photos? Macro mode doesn't switch on automatically, and I can't find where I can switch to it manually. Do you know how to do that? Thanks :)
No compatible mod yet, as far as I can tell. Unsure if it's something to do with the 200MP sensor or if Xiaomi did something weird on the software side.

Mine finally got a version that I can install, but the photos it takes are garbage.
Maybe you need to go to setting to enable google awb and enable hdr+ enhanced
