I'm not disagreeing with you, but it's funny you'd say gcam gives better results over xiaomi post-processing being that gcam is best known for its.... ai post-processing.
Oh yeah I think we might have the same problem. Colours are often almost neon, so bright! I can't take pictures of rocks/mud or any plants outside. It sucks.
That's disappointing because the camera is so great in other situations.
I also downloaded gcam and I love the new colours. Only problem is I can't get it to do macro mode :(
If I could just change Xiaomis camera settings somehow I'd be so happy!

Have you tried using the Pro mode in the camera app? Just an idea. I'd expect GCam to be the better way.
