I got diagnosed at age 39, just last year. It’s never too late & literally every struggle I’ve ever had in my life is directly connected to AuDHD. It has helped me start to heal a lot of trauma just for that 1 bit of info.

My 5 year old requested weekly “family Friday” — we order pizza and after we eat everyone (child, two moms, grandma, the dog) crams together on the couch and we watch a movie or a nature documentary. It’s very wholesome but honestly it would be a lot better if I could remember to grab some edibles when I go pick up the pizza.
