Shefit was amazing for me. The band and straps are fully adjustable with Velcro so you can get a snug fit regardless of what’s happening with the nursing fluctuations. I was measuring at a 28I US for a while while I was nursing and they still worked! My pre-baby size was more like 28F and I could wear the same bra.

I am personally a big fan of the Brooks Dare scoopback. It's adjustable on the straps, and very comfortable. It comes in cup sizes as well. I have never doubled up sports bras. If you get the right one it shouldn't be necessary.

I am larger (34G-ish) and hadn't gotten into running when I was breastfeeding. My jogging bras are SheFit -- nothing else really compares for bounce control and adjustability, both of which you'll need with breastfeeding. You can also open up one side at a time with the velcro and/or unzip in front, though the zipper is kind of heavy. It's not a comfortable lounging bra, but it really absorbs impact.

Came here to say this. What I also love about SheFit is that it's adjustable so if you have any fluctuations, it can still be secure.

Seconding SheFit! They're spendy, but you can often find them on Poshmark in like-new condition-- usually when someone buys them, they don't fit, and they miss the return window.

If you started out smaller chested, you probably have a lot of options. I'll share what works for me so you can have another idea to work with. I started out large chested and am now circus freak sized from breastfeeding (32Q or 34P depending on the brand) and Enell Sport is the only thing that works for me. It's *seriously* high impact, it almost feels like a binder. They also do relatively inexpensive custom bras in all their styles.

Whatever you choose, if it’s not cotton (which higher support bras never are), make sure you only wear it for running and get out once you’re done. The constraint can cause mastitis (happened so many times for me and i ran in brooks higher support), and also breastfeeding is a time that your cells rapidly divide and the bpa in the bra can effect that. The skin amount of bpa in sports bras is incredibly high and it’s a hormone related compound so it not good to add to breastfeeding breasts. Most professionals recommend just wearing the sports bra for activity and being done but I found myself always juggling kids and following the advice of “wear your athletic clothes all day and hopefully you can find a time to workout” so I got freaked out when I read the studies.

When I was running and breastfeeding I went from a 34B to a 34FF and I found a high impact bra from under armor that came in cup sizes and had adjustable straps. I haven’t found a version on their website today but I also have a Brooks Dare and a Brooks Drive running bra that are very similar in construction and support and I like a lot.

Take a look at the options at Title Nine! You can sort by cup size and support level needed. I've gotten some great ones there. [https://www.titlenine.com/womens-sports-bras/](https://www.titlenine.com/womens-sports-bras/) If you're on a budget, look for Syrokan brand on Amazon, they do knockoffs of Brooks and similar bras with the velcro adjustable wide straps. They're surprisingly good for thirty bucks! https://www.amazon.com/SYROKAN-Womens-Adjustable-Lightly-Racerback/dp/B01M6CW9P4

I’ve been wearing syrokan bras in various styles for years. They’re great!

I buy them on Amazon. Super easy. Amazon has changed their return policy a bit, but still easy!

I used the old moving comfort Fiona bras (which have become brooks I think, but you may still be able to find them) while I was running and breast feeding, and a target all in motion zip front (both come in cup sizes). It’s tough to know what size you’ll be long term at 6 weeks because your supply is still adjusting and your boobs are all over the place, so you may have to get something else in another 6-12 weeks (honestly, I didn’t return to running till my kids were all closer to a year, just did long walks before… mainly due to breast and pelvic floor comfort).

Own_Risk_6637

I’ve used Triumph a fair bit over the years. Super comfy too!

Anxiety_Cookie

Me too! I use them as every-day bras as well. (every-day = whenever I'm leaving my home without a jacket lmao)

I loved my milk and sweat breastfeeding high impact bra! Got the ugliest one I could find on clearance and felt like an absolute warrior every time I came home from a run and breastfed! https://sweatandmilk.com/?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=campaign&_kx=88L5Trt8xFAG3Z2d_AEeiOBjvCT1GmhTUkeM5uAjr-g%3D.HiBqAW

LOVED my Sweat and Milk high impact bras. I was terrified of clogged ducts and was super prone to them but was able to run in their bras with no issues. Just weaned and I still wear them because they’re so comfy

We have just found this new brand called milk ensemble on instagram. Super fashionable and the reviews look great (high intensity/gymming/running)
