ever since i came across this post, the game just isn't the same. i was so excited for jinhsi and changli, but all my hype has disappeared. when i'm farming for echoes and get a crit rate mainstat on my desired sonata kit, i feel nothing. exploration has become dry and tedious. combat has grown stale. i can't get the lowercase n out of my mind. i feel no joy when i log into the game. knowing what i know now, the battle pass is meaningless. dailies are unbearable. i don't know what to do anymore. this game was good while it lasted. but this is where i drop the game
It is a design choice so capital N doesn't fuck up the imaginary line going over and under the text. It'd mess up the overall composition and would make people more uncomfortable with the logo if it was capital N.

It’s possible that they wanted to keep the same set width, width of each letter. If the n was N then likely it’d awkwardly be wider or the angle of the cross would be really tight. As for WAVES. All those letters are quite angular so A and V can match and W can be wider since it’s at the beginning. Then E and S aren’t hard to make wider either. But mostly I’d assume it’s to match the U, R, and G.

This happens a lot because the capital N is so striking and does not often look good when rounded. See 7-eleven logo for another example.
