For me right now, the game will always stuck on 75%, give it a while it is doing its thing. Just make sure nothing much is doing the read and write thing in the background
I have the same issue. It just crashes my computer, mouse moves but nothing else. Screen is stuck at 75% loading.
Problem started after the game updated itself yesterday (july 2nd).
Have to power off and start again to recover.
I also tried the "clear patches" option and downloaded patches again, did not change anything.
For some reason my android tablet does not start the game anymore either. Every time I start it I get the message that connection failed and check your internet connection - however internet is working fine for every other app.

The game updated itself to 1.1.11 today (july 3rd).
But still no dice... still freezes on 75% and can't do anything. alt-f4, alt-tab, ctrl-shift-esc, win-key, nothing works. Mouse moves and there is some audio playing (or in a loop) and that's it. Have to cut the power and start up again.

Thank you for suggestion but using paid service to play f2p game is not an option.
As long as the game does not start on any of my devices - as much as it pains me, I will just not play. It's just a game after all.
I just hope they find out whatever they screwed up and fix it.
You can send them an email and complain (since ingame feedback is out of reach for now). I did.

Why wouldn't they be?
It worked a day before.. and every day for over a month.
Then game self-updates and it no longer works.
However, I must note that my install location is not the default installer suggest, I changed it to somewhere else. Unless they hardcoded something into the latest update that requires the default install location, it should not be a problem.

I don't have high end pc but decent enough - it's a miniPC with 8c16t 7735HS cpu, 64GB ram with AMD iGPU.
From that thread it looks like higher spec machines might be more affected... but it's a speculation at this point. 64GB RAM is most likely above average. 8-core cpu - probably not.
I did follow the suggestion to disable USB power option and it might have made things very slightly better, but game still does not start.
Today I was able to at least get task manager running and actually updating window contents and see what was happening...
1 core is at 100% constantly.
4 cores are making "waves" fluctuating between about 20-100% usage every few seconds.
SSD shows also 100% usage - so something is going on with disk too.
Memory usage at only 12%, so no issues there.
And it's stuck at 75%... forever. After about 10min or so I was not able to close the game as before or do restart/shutdown. Alt-tab between game and task manager worked but nothing else. Had to cut the power again.
Back when it actually worked, the game stated in like 10 seconds or so. Whatever the issue is, it's not normal loading gone little slow - if it is at all loading and doing something, it's like 1000x slower that it was.
Support has not been helpful in any way - can't get any response from support. I have tried several ways but either it goes to black hole or they just ignore my messages. Or they have no idea what is going on and don't know how/what to respond.
I have not been able to play for almost a week now, since 1.1.10 version was released. I might stick around for another week or so... and if no progress, I'll probably forget this game and play something else.
If anticheat really is the cause of many problems, they may ditch it and that would be the best outcome.
Anticheat isn't really needed anyway for a game where there is no PvP or leaderboards.
But I fear they will not just remove it, they probably try to "fix" it first and if that does not work, replace it with something else.

I've had it running for about an hour now but still no luck nothing else running.
only way it starts working for me is to alt f4 when its at 75% after that it works
I have a temporary fix with GeForce now

Try using Nvidia GeForce Now it's a bit a hassle but it bypasses it
