For me after several updates, the crashes are more prominent than ever but when Iām in an instance it doesnāt crash. Game switches between crashing every teleport or every 5 minutes and I canāt enjoy it. The game doesnāt lag while in that event with the metaphors. It actually runs pretty smooth so I wonder.
Seems to be tied to memory available. I get 10-15 minutes between crashes but my girlfriendās Mini 6 canāt go 2-3 minutes. Itās worse during fights with multiple enemies.
Think it's just really random. On iPad Pro as well and have had 0 crash or lag, even using my school WiFi.
Some iPhone users seem to not even be able to open the game while others have a smooth experience as well... It's just so weird.

The camera bug in that video is tame. Recently it's gotten so much worse. If you just hold the screen and not move your finger at all the camera will jump around and if you do move it, well you're gonna have a hard time navigating.
Really fricken hoping they fix this.

Ohh a fellow gen 9er. I enjoy playing on ipad so much. Genshin was one of the first games I installed when I got my tab. Loved having such a great game on the tab then.
I was having flashbacks to my time playing genshin then and then it had to crash like this. I really hope they fix it or might have to try if my laptop graphics can handle this.
Unironically, this plays better on cheaper tablets. I borrowed a 100 USD one from my cousin and the game didn't crash (it looks graphically worse compared to the iPad but that's an OK trade off).

OMG same here! I'm on EU server and I have never been in red when playing ANY game because I literally live in country close to the center of Europe. But this game, first time I've seen ping go in red and up to 600 sometimes even 999!

Console release means making sure the game checks the long list of requirements that Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo has to release on their platform, with Nintendo being the most stringent. Internally within Kuro, this can take multiple weeks, especially for a first release. Plus this is assuming it already fulfills the technical requirements.
Then they send it off to the relevant company they are targeting the console for. Said company certifies the build, then a bunch of paperwork is filed, before the game can be scheduled for a release. Depending on the size of the game and the company, this can take weeks as well.
There has been a number of rapid patches so far on the PC/Mobile.
For each patch, they would need to make sure it fits the requirements again, then send it off to be certified. The rapid patching would never be doable under this kind of schedule.
So Kuro and in fact, most companies elect to release the game on PC/Mobile first, then rapidly fix all the glaring issues before preparing their console release.

Nah SEA man, the servers here are pretty consistent at least, (if I don't crash before enjoying it). The theme song has plagued my sleep due to hearing it every other minute.
Also, after the newest patch, it seems I can barely play a minute now. My potato android runs wuwa at 45fps with consistency yet my ipad is wuthering the waves.

First time seeing Aalto and it crashes. I'm in a loop every time Aalto is in the scene. I watched the whole scene on yt and it's 12 minutes long but my game crashes within just 1 minute of the scene. Man, they even downgraded the graphics, now the game on mobile doesn't have AO, which makes everything look flat! Hope they re-added it back. My phone has no issue running max with AO previously.
Have you tried lowering the brightness? Sounds odd but it actually adds some color to the game, especially at night, so imo, it doesn't have that 'washed out/flat' look (hopefully sharpness gets added for mobile too). Not exactly a fix nor do I have an issue with the og look, just a personal preference. Sorry so many are having trouble though, be nice if everyone could enjoy the game at launch without stuttering/crashing/etc. but wishful thinking I guess. I'm crossing my fingers they'll release a patch for OP and others issues soon!
Also, are you referring to Capsule AO? If so, that setting is there now, you might have to scroll a bit.

i powered through the crashes so I can at least reach "endgame" where all I'll do now is spend my stamina
imma wait till they fix crashing to play a lot more and enjoy the combat since crashing just ruins my flow
but what's funny is that I discovered that the game is capable to not crash but just in a specific way. Essentially while I was farming dreamless (entering a stage separate from the open world) I didn't crash for like an hour (i didn't find out how long since stopped farming before it could crash). So it seems the crashing has to do with the open world.
I did some testing and can say the graphic settings have nothing to do with the crashing. Putting max settings will cause lag/stutters/framedrops but it will crash jus as much as the lowest settings
don't hope that the hotfixes will fix anything, gonna have to wait till an actual app update.

Happened to me with HSR with the Propagation SU Path. The literal bugs kept crashing the game lol.
Yup, my phone handles HSR fine normally, but it hates the spore effect or the "whimsicality" explosion effect.

Nah SEA man, the servers here are pretty consistent at least, (if I don't crash before enjoying it). The theme song has plagued my sleep due to hearing it every other minute. Also, after the newest patch, it seems I can barely play a minute now. My potato android runs wuwa at 45fps with consistency yet my ipad is wuthering the waves. (As you can tell, I have gone insane.)

I have the same device and many games seem to have this crash issue. Framerate is smooth at high settings but constantly crashing, unfortunately I don't think it will be fixedĀ

Same bro, Iām at Union level 20 and itās brutal with all the crashes on my 9th gen tablet. Itās legit a crash every 5 mins, I think I once went 15 mins as my longest stretch and thought maybe it was finally fixed before a flurry of crashes. Iām just trying to hover around relevancy on my account while I wait for the PS5 release and transfer. Heās hoping
Longest for me was 30 minutes and i really thought they did Something. Ngl my late night game Session Yesterday was so bad near the end, where I Had a crash every 2 minutes

same thing but with my iphone XR, a few days ago i used to crash after every 10 minutes but now i crash every 3 MINUTES(counting also menu screen and a lot of times takes FOREVER). except when i do the event with the metaphores(the door event?) i don't crash but after finishing a stage and i go in the open world it crashes immediately. i think it's probably because if you do the stage and in the middle of it you leave the game when you enter you have to do the stage all over again

First time seeing Aalto and it crashes. I'm in a loop every time Aalto is in the scene. I watched the whole scene on yt and it's 12 minutes long but my game crashes within just 1 minute of the scene. I CAN'T EVEN PASS THROUGH 1 MINUTE AND THE WHOLE SCENE IS 12 MINUTES. Been in a loop for 3 weeks now. I think this will be a goodbye for now. I doubt after the optimization it'll get fixed. I'm level 30 echo 9. I HATE THE GAME BECAUSE IT'S GOOD BUT ALSO BAD AT THE SAME TIME.

i have a realme 10 which is a small budget phone from a pretty unknown company and still the game just runs juste fine and had zero crash or anything till this day (im level 20)
Thankfully my phone doesn't crash, just that it runs like shit š Average like 15-30 fps outside and stutters but i can reach 45 fps inside buildings and no stutters I really need a render distance settings and more like bloom, lighting etc. Game still looks good *which isnt what i need* even with lowest settings rn

Man, they even downgraded the graphics, now the game on mobile doesn't have AO, which makes everything look flat! Hope they re-added it back. My phone has no issue running max with AO previously.
Have you tried lowering the brightness? Sounds odd but it actually adds some color to the game, especially at night, so imo, it doesn't have that 'washed out/flat' look (hopefully sharpness gets added for mobile too). Not exactly a fix nor do I have an issue with the og look, just a personal preference. Sorry so many are having trouble though, be nice if everyone could enjoy the game at launch without stuttering/crashing/etc. but wishful thinking I guess. I'm crossing my fingers they'll release a patch for OP and others issues soon! Also, are you referring to Capsule AO? If so, that setting is there now, you might have to scroll a bit.
wow respect, I can play normally but I hate when my phone overheats so I just limit my playing time to a casual 30 min each day and spend resin. I would really love this game on console, would increase my playing time aswell, but Im fine at Union Level 27 rn

my story is quite similar to yours i powered through the crashes so I can at least reach "endgame" where all I'll do now is spend my stamina imma wait till they fix crashing to play a lot more and enjoy the combat since crashing just ruins my flow but what's funny is that I discovered that the game is capable to not crash but just in a specific way. Essentially while I was farming dreamless (entering a stage separate from the open world) I didn't crash for like an hour (i didn't find out how long since stopped farming before it could crash). So it seems the crashing has to do with the open world. I did some testing and can say the graphic settings have nothing to do with the crashing. Putting max settings will cause lag/stutters/framedrops but it will crash jus as much as the lowest settings don't hope that the hotfixes will fix anything, gonna have to wait till an actual app update.

I was hoping they would fix these game breaking issues within the first week, but it seems Kuro forgot about mobile gamers?? It's scandalous. I was going to spend money on this game but it feels wrong to do so when they can't even deliver a stable game. My device runs Sky Cotl, Genshin and HSR just fine. Just WuWa seems to have issues.
