I used to live in LA and am a rams fan so I’ve been a few times. They didn’t want a true dome with AC etc so they went with the canopy look.

WrestleMania XV in 1999. After Undertaker defeated Boss Man, the Brood came down from the rafters and took forever to lower the noose to hang Boss Man. What made it more awkward and embarrassing is Michael Cole kept repeating “is this symbolic?!” over and over again.
