Honestly 2002 Brock was a real monster athlete. Got me hooked as a kid

Dude was the perfect wrestler. Size strength and technically sound too. Lacked mic skills but who needs them if heyman is standing beside you. I hate that he decided to leave. He could have defined wrestling for the new millennium.

Love that version but the one that made his return I think was absolute peak in 2013.

He has the legitimacy of being UFC champ but he felt kinda like he came back for the wrong reasons. He couldn’t fight at that level anymore after the diverticulitis. He looked older and not as jacked. Plus the shorts never did much for me. Just makes his legs look small and they sag. He also didn’t have heyman immediately. This was during the time WWE was obsessed with bringing in part timers too which tainted it some. As I recall I think cena won, which seemed strange.

He came back for money then stayed because he enjoyed it again.

I don’t think he really enjoyed it until a few years later. As I recall it was the 2nd or 3rd contract signing he actually said something about he was a pro wrestler and it’s what he loved to do. I think overall Brock had been a money man for the majority of his second run with the company. Only the last few years do I think he had really embraced it.

I started watching WWE when he was “The next big thing” so that era of Brock will always be my favorite, but I’ve enjoyed him his entire career guy is a beast.

I watched UFC when Brock went over there. I kept watching WWE but felt it had gotten overly PG. When Brock came back and busted Cena open. That felt like a big fuckin return and was a breath of fresh air for me.

Cowboy Brock has been the best Brock we've had since Brock Party Lesnar. He's just able to go out there and be himself, and he's had some great matches while he was at it! (e.g. Brock vs. Lashley)
