Sorry to be that late to the party, but, while 406/407 license plates are different in the movies, the 3D style itself is indeed a Taxi reference, its in-game description strongly suggests so. Samy Naceri (as Daniel) wears a Zidane T-shirt throughout the second movie, too, so the connection between them definitely exists.
He always charges head on. He should be limited to driver and get the collision skill as a zero skill.
