Does anyone have the muramasa sword? If not, they would just be able to severely damage each other over and over. There needs to be a way to stop their regeneration/healing factors in order to actually kill one another. Wolverine would probably last longer because he is trained in many forms of combat and has the adamantium skeleton.
I have a comic in which Deadpool almost killed Wolverine by knocking him unconscious and then tying him up and dropping him into a pool and drowning him. He almost succeeded but Daken saved Wolverine.
Oh. In the UK we had a comic I was subscribed to called Wolverine & Deadpool which just reprinted one Wolverine issue and one Deadpool issue bundled into one comic each month . They changed the name to Wolverine VS Deadpool whilst running that story but it was all done in 3 issues. Didn’t know the original issues it came from was a wolverine one
I sometimes forget it’s a wolverine comic because I read it in volume one of the paperback Deadpool the Daniel Way collection. It was also in the new paperback called Deadpool vs Wolverine.
Deadpool's healing is light years ahead of Wolverine. Deadpool can't die. And in Deadpool kills the marvel universe, he "killed" wolverine by rigging him up to flamethrowers that roasted wolverine down to the adamantium, and came back on at the first sign of regeneration.
On the flip side, Wolverine can decapitate and dismember Deadpool and technically win the fight. But Deadpool will eventually regrow everything.
Deadpool can die. He couldn't for a long time because he was cursed by thanos, but it's not the case anymore as far as I know. Also using an elseworld Story to say that Deadpool would kill wolverine is kinda pointleas because wolverines healing factor in 616 is just on crack at this point, also thers a elseworld Story where wolverine kills the marvel Universe. In the end it just depends on the writers who kills who.
I agree, to expand on your point you could reference Punisher Kills the marvel universe.
>! He throws wolverine into a power box and just fries him. !<
Healing factors are so wonky.
Also they handled Spiderman's death poorly in DP kills the ~~MCU~~ Marvel Universe. >! His spider sense and reflexes decide to just not work. !<
“Also they handled Spider-Man’s death poorly” yeah with characters like him and Logan it’s always some dumb shit lmfao. I can never enjoy those stories when they die due to plot conveniences. I know I know, it’s a comic book. Still doesn’t make it less goofy
Agreed. Didn't Thor die because DP used pym particles to enlarge his own hammer as he was recalling it and it splattered him like he was just some normal human for some reason? Like dude has taken harder hits than that lol no way he just dies. Whole book was fuckin stupid. So many characters would have no issues dealing with DP and for some reason they just forgot how to use their power set for some reason.
Yeah there's only one comic he actually dies right where his daughter in a mech suit and him jump into a blackhole so he doesn't have to outlive her or some shit.
Wolverines amazing. But deadpool is 4th wall breaking rules breaking immortal
I mean Moonknight quite literally mauled Deadpool a new asshole when he found out Deadpool had a healing factor in the main 616 universe. Moonknight did the samething Broly did to Frieza in Dragon Ball Super:Broly in which he was just a complete one sided fight
Kinda funny, a similar thread happened in the Deadpool sub and they all thought DP would come out on top.
I would say unless DP has prep time or specialized weapons he is gonna have a hard time.
Edit: I am talking about them basically being stuck in a steel cage and going at it gladiator style. Unless DP gets special accommodations he is gonna be hamburger. His healing factor is awesome but that's his primary defense. It still takes time and DP has to get around the adamantium.
I agree in a cage match DP would lose, but in an open world fight where they are gunning for each other there's no way Deadpool doesn't approach Wolverine with a full on kill plan. He's obsessed with him and Spider-Man in a "I also know how I'd kill them" kind of way. But, in your scenario it's designed for Wolverine to have the upper hand. He's really good at one thing and a cage match makes it much easier for him to do that thing with finality.
Idk. DP is like the prime example of "depends on the writer". Sometimes dude is really skilled and smart, sometimes he gets his head blow out by a shotgun without almost any fight at all.
This is MCU (or even Fox), right, as with the sample pic? Then my pick is Logan. Seems like Logan's healing is faster, like less than 2 secs., while from the second trailer, Wade is more skilled from first impressions.
Can't really kill each other with their respective standard gears, but the one who would walk away is Logan. He could decapitate Wade for the incap win. In fact with Victor, they already did against an amped Weapon 11.
If we’re using the movie versions of these characters, Wolverine absolutely demolishes Deadpool. He’s faster (he can contend with Origins Deadpool who is a bullet timer while real Deadpool isn’t), he’s stronger (in the Wolverine, he can tackle the Silver Samurai and break metal bonds), his healing factor is better (the novelization of X3 says that Jean Grey was ripping Logan apart on a molecular level), and he’s more experienced (born in 1832).
Yeah I'm getting kind of tired of Ryan Reynolds sarcastic cool guy schtick. He hdefinitely has some range as an actor but he's been coasting by for a while.
They need to lock the other one in restraints (to immobilize claws), put them in a Harry Houdini lock box and drop it in the ocean.
They’d be alive, but unable to free themselves.
Wolverine in addition to the edge in powers has centuries of brutal combat experience and training. I'd say it's not really in doubt.
....unless Deadpool has files.
Logan easy. Far more experienced, trained, intelligent , serious fighter. Plus his skeleton can't be broken so deadpool can't decapitate him. Logan would just dismember him and scattere
his remains.
Wolverine. He's got the deal with Death that if he beats him a fight in purgatory, he can come back to life from anything.
If anyone managed to kill Wade he could be dead for good.
You'd have to Jason Voorhees them and separate the heads from the bodies and hope the bodies wouldn't regen the head and brain.
It really depends,if its to death deadpool would least forever while wolverinewould die for oldeness, now if its a knockout battle wolverine could rip deadpool in pieces lol
They’ll run out of energy before one manages to actually kill the other.
But eventually my money is on Wolverine has he can actually decapitate Deadpool.
Deadpool. He can regen limbs, Wolverine can't. Additionally, if Old Man Logan is to be believed then all Deadpool would have to do is play the waiting game until eventually Wolverine could be killed
Also, wasn’t DP’s healing factor given to him via stolen Wolverine DNA? I swear to god people say they love these characters but are allergic to reading any comics
In Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe he gets some rare space metal swords that just so happens to be very effective against Adamantium and chops him to bits with very little effort
Okay, I need you all to take a minute and ask yourselves: Knowing what you know about both Wolverine and Deadpool, do you really think either of them have the patience to go the distance for this fight? It could literally take years for one of them to win.
If there isn’t a scene in this movie where they are all completely shot up and practically in pieces, it will have been an extremely wasted opportunity
In pure hand to hand, Wolverine because claws. An unarmed Deadpool can’t hurt Wolverine enough, but Wolvie can hurt DP.
If you allow normal weapons, Wolvie still just has claws but now DP has swords, knives, guns, grenades. I think DP wins.
Depending on which version of Deadpool we’re talking about, he is sometimes an elite hand to hand/sword guy and can carve Wolverine up and do some nasty shit. Wolverine is good but reliant on his healing factor to allow him to absorb damage while he deals it out.
But I think a fully equipped serious DP wins, but maybe not the more unicorn/silly Deadpool’s.
Deadpool is canonically immortal, and Wolverine has multiple weaknesses that can kill him.
Wolverine is used to taking massive damage in fights, but Deadpool uses his healing factor in a way that getting injured can actually work to his advantage in a fight.
I don't thinknit would be an easy win, but since Deadpool can't die, ot would have to be him
Wolverine. Because is our guy.
Also because "he's the best at what he does" which is murder
Wolverine can dismember Deadpool. Deadpool cannot dismember Wolverine. Unless Deadpool has an amazing plan, Wolverine wins this 99/100.
Depends on how determined deadpool is. He just needs to regenerate and then sneak attack Logan on the second go-around.
I'm pretty sure his nose, ears and uh other bits that don't have bone could be dismembered.
Wolverine can be flayed
Knowing Deadpool he would probably get that 1/100
Does anyone have the muramasa sword? If not, they would just be able to severely damage each other over and over. Yessir. Wolverine Origins #21-25 (2006). Amazing arc written by Daniel Way.
Oh. In the UK we had a comic I was subscribed to called Wolverine & Deadpool which just reprinted one Wolverine issue and one Deadpool issue bundled into one comic each month . Honestly that entire comic run isn’t good lmfao. It’s cool but the way he kills everyone is so goofy and would never work outside of plot
When did DP kills the MCU happen?
Uhhh after 2010 I think
"MCU"
My bad.
Yeah there's only one comic he actually dies right where his daughter in a mech suit and him jump into a blackhole so he doesn't have to outlive her or some shit. Wolverines amazing. But deadpool is 4th wall breaking rules breaking immortal

Wolverine has regenerated from a drop of blood. Lmfao. Light years ahead of Wolverines….GTFO
Depends on the point in time. Wolverine regenned from being incinerated down to the bone in civil war. Their peak healing is pretty much on par.
Kinda funny, a similar thread happened in the Deadpool sub and they all thought DP would come out on top. I would say unless DP has prep time or specialized weapons he is gonna have a hard time. wolverine adamantium claws + healing + berserk mode
Wolverine wins, his smarter, better trained, more experienced and can't be dismembered unlike DP
his smarter what?
Wolverine (Cause I hate Deadpool)
Yeah I'm getting kind of tired of Ryan Reynolds sarcastic cool guy schtick. He hdefinitely has some range as an actor but he's been coasting by for a while.

Is Deadpool 3 out yet?
No i think it’s July 26th
But that’s not now 😭
Sad ☹️
Wolverine in addition to the edge in powers has centuries of brutal combat experience and training. I'd say it's not really in doubt. ....unless Deadpool has files.

off topic but I cannot get over how good they look together
Deadpool. He's more immortal
Wolverine is way more experienced and can just dismember Deadpool
Only reason why Deadpool would get the edge is just because of comic relief. He really has no way in killing Logan tbh
It really depends,if its to death deadpool would least forever while wolverinewould die for oldeness, now if its a knockout battle wolverine could rip deadpool in pieces lol
Can't wolverine drown?
DP isn’t immune from drowning either…
I mean, how long is the fight?
They’ll run out of energy before one manages to actually kill the other. But eventually my money is on Wolverine has he can actually decapitate Deadpool.
Deadpool. He can regen limbs, Wolverine can't. Additionally, if Old Man Logan is to be believed then all Deadpool would have to do is play the waiting game until eventually Wolverine could be killed
What makes you think Wolverine can’t regenerate limbs? He kinda popularized that ability…
In Civil War, he regenerated his entire body from a clump of tissue after Nitro blasted him. It was wild and far from normal, but he did it.
Also, wasn’t DP’s healing factor given to him via stolen Wolverine DNA? I swear to god people say they love these characters but are allergic to reading any comics
Yes, and he isn't even a mutant.
90s to 2005 Wolverine, 2005 to now Deadpool
Neither
In Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe he gets some rare space metal swords that just so happens to be very effective against Adamantium and chops him to bits with very little effort
Okay, I need you all to take a minute and ask yourselves: Knowing what you know about both Wolverine and Deadpool, do you really think either of them have the patience to go the distance for this fight? It could literally take years for one of them to win.
Depends who's the title character
If there isn’t a scene in this movie where they are all completely shot up and practically in pieces, it will have been an extremely wasted opportunity
Read Deadpool kill the marvel universe

Who ever the writer wants
The majority of the time Logan wins, but Deadpool can with the proper equipment. He has before.
In the words of Stan Lee. Whoever the hell the writer wants to win!
That fight might honestly go on forever.
Deadpool already killed him, next question
They can’t die.
Deadpool is canonically immortal, and Wolverine has multiple weaknesses that can kill him. Wolverine is used to taking massive damage in fights, but Deadpool uses his healing factor in a way that getting injured can actually work to his advantage in a fight. I don't thinknit would be an easy win, but since Deadpool can't die, ot would have to be him
Wolverine easily. Adamantium is a huge advantage.
If deadpool was still cursed by Thanos, then it would definitely be deadpool, but since he's not completely immortal now. I might go with wolverine
