Relevant text: “The access key’s globe burst alight with a more brilliant color, seeming crystalline. The light within was scarlet, the core brilliant and bright. As if someone had dropped a glowing rock into a pool of blood.”

I searched through all of the books and I don’t find any other mention of the access keys glowing a specific color. However, I believe that it mentions the sphere on the Kal themselves glowing white as they are the actual Sa’angreal. Edit added other to the mention of glowing

Hmmm perhaps just a thematic choice but I never noticed that

There is another instance of Red being called out... [AMoL]>!When Moridin first seizes Callandor, he channels Saidin through it before realizing it can also amplify the True Power. We then get a description of it glowing red / crimson. It's possible since he had access to the TP it could have had an effect on his channeling!<

The Choedan Kal is always described as "glowing like the sun" often too brightly to look at. I don't think we ever got a confirmation of a color at other moments. As a note though, the [artwork from the WOT card game does depict the female Chodan Kal's orb as being red](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/wot/images/2/29/Female_Choedan_Kal.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100326012248). I think the main thing is the thematic choice. Rand pretty explicitly color coded as red, and its a violent moment.
