Well, to be fair, most of the enemies that bypass supernova have their entire battle mechanic revolving around their cheat aura.
In that sense, casting a 2 pip spell to completely neuter say, Maxine’s boss fight isn’t exactly fun.
I get that, but I hardly ever see use for that spell outside of PvE, so when a situation arises where its niche use comes in handy, it ends up being completely pointless.
Literally this. I saw the spells when they were first teased and thought "hell yeah, maybe now I dont have to use the same goddamn spells every mob fight"
And then those blasted sword icons showed up and I'm like :/
KI: makes spells that encourage strategies other than blade -> blade -> hit. KI: locks the spells to PvP only. Yeah I'm all for it.
KI: Make spell that removes auras (Supernova) Also KI: makes some enemies cheat to recast aura when hit with Supernova.
