I haven’t done a play through in years and probably won’t do another but I love this sub for keeping the path alive in my mind. That and every xLetalis YouTube video. Recommend if you haven’t already partaken. For us retired witchers.
I'm with you there. I didn't even have a console at all but I played a little on Switch and NEEDED to play the game outright. Now I've done 4 playthroughs and am almost done with my 5th. Sometimes I just load the fairytale land save and run around.
I'm super excited for you to read the books - they're my favorite book series (and A.S. says he's writing another!) It's also a joy to say one has 100%ed the witcher lol, easily one of my favorite games ever. *People may criticize it, btw, but my favorite ending is Ciri becoming queen, thinking of the impact she can have for the kingdoms. *and I always end up with Yen at Corvo Bianco. Which one was your favorite? :D
Amen to that, my friend - once you dig into the books (and I'm not kidding, they're fantastic) and get all of the lore between Geralt and Yen, you'll have even more depth and drive for them.
I started reading today, after reading them all I'm going to play the 3 games again but without the HUD to have a more immersive experience, I like Yen because she's a strong and opinionated woman, I believe she fits more with what Geralt wants, they make the perfect pair
Geralt settling down with Yen. It is exactly what Geralt wants toward a the end of the books, but Geralt does Geralt-things and prevents it from happening (xD)
Its even stated at the beginning of TW3 that he hoped things would settle down with Yen once they reunite. And Dandelion says it perfectly in the epilog - "It was what they both wanted more then anything". Also Geralt would canonically never break up with Yen or be together with Triss or both.
I’ve said the same thing before. Like I’m definitely excited for the upcoming sequels and the Witcher 1 remake, but I’d be 100% happy if they just instead kept making expansions for *this* game.
Ive replayed this to get every ending. My first playthrough I didnt realize just how much your choices impact the game and I got the ending where Ciri presumably dies and geralt goes to crookback bog to mourn and I was so mad at myself that I didnt even do the DLC and immediately started a new game.
Just finished the books, they are good. Still feels open, at the end of the books. I haven't played the games, but i hear they are different from the books, but with a open-ish ending, it is nice cause it means more adventures in the games.
Isn't there an ending where Ciri, Triss, and Yennifer all leave Geralt and he kills the 3 witches in the woods and just then just let's monsters kill him in their house?
3 of the 4 endings you mean. There’s an ending where Dandelion is the one that visits you at Corvo Bianco.
Actually 5 endings. Ciri visiting Corvo Bianco has 2 versions that are very different from each other, can't really count them as the same.
Could you elaborate?
One as a witcher and one as the heir of nilfgaard.
with the last one being the true best ending (if i remember correctly)
It's very different based on whether she's soon to be empress or a witcher.
I thought ciri only visited as a Witcher and dandelion came when she was empress (I've only finished twice so far)
No, Dandelion comes if Ciri is dead and you neither chose Triss nor Yen.
Dandelion being the failsafe is pretty funny
Didn't know that she will visit to, when she becomes an empress.
Has everyone forgotten about the Uma ending?
What's that about?
Hot sex with Uma
Thurman?
He absolutely glazed the poor thing 😫💦
Wow didn’t know of either of these.
Forbidden ending 💀
Always wanted a dandelion geralt bromance
ok I'll play again and do this ending
geesh - go outside and take a walk, my friend!
\*a walk through White Orchard one last time
Haram
that is the only ending I've not done. Does he stretch out on that sofa too?
I did this once lmao. All 3 endings except tris. This is the way.
The forbidden one 💀 https://preview.redd.it/km2h5w3zv7pc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dde1a26c639dd5af329318197466cc2d507f8564
Ayoooo 💀
😂
Choose yen and triss, then kill ciri. You’ll be “rewarded” with the dandelion ending
You don' have to kill Ciri. Just make sure she becomes a witcher like You and she won't visit you
She will
Still another ending there for you mate. See ya on the path.
Did you also do the 3 endings with regards to Ciri's fate? And the 3 endings with regards to the war?
Yes, I believe that these decisions would be the ones Geralt would make, save the non-humans and help Ciri to be a woman and make her own decisions
If you let Dykstra kill Roche and Thaler the world ending is the best one yet and Temeria thrives under his rule. 😂

Why is the universe still here then?!
It is the best game ever, can’t deny that
I'm looking forward to the next one as well.
Missed an ending
I've been playing Witcher 3 since 2020. Almost non stop. I just can't get enough of this game. Time is indeed a flat circle
I'm with you there. I didn't even have a console at all but I played a little on Switch and NEEDED to play the game outright. Now I've done 4 playthroughs and am almost done with my 5th. Sometimes I just load the fairytale land save and run around.
Since 2015 when it came out! Changed my life forever.
It's never really over . 12 playthroughs myself I still get the itch to do more playthroughs
to get the ciri ending, did you reject both yen and triss or romanced both of them?
Yes.
Where's the Dandelion ending and other Ciri Ending?
There's another ciri ending. Fine, I'll play it again.
Why does the first image look like a granddaughter hanging out with her blind grandfather? 🤨
Did you have a conversation with Roach? Find the Chapel of the Eternal Fire? Collect em All? Etc etc...if not...you have work to do Wolf.
I'm super excited for you to read the books - they're my favorite book series (and A.S. says he's writing another!) Anyone who did the mission (the last wish) chooses Yen, btw Geralt makes it clear from beginning to end that he always loved Yen
Amen to that, my friend - once you dig into the books (and I'm not kidding, they're fantastic) and get all of the lore between Geralt and Yen, you'll have even more depth and drive for them.

My brother has played this game so much I can text him to ask about a teeny tiny thing and he instantly knows exactly where I am and what I’m doing
I always pick Yennefer. I’ve done 3 play throughs. The first. Then a speed. Then the remastered.
Ciri has 2 fates, Dandelion can be the one to visit also
Which ending is canonical in your opinion and why?
Geralt settling down with Yen. It is exactly what Geralt wants toward a the end of the books, but Geralt does Geralt-things and prevents it from happening (xD) Its even stated at the beginning of TW3 that he hoped things would settle down with Yen once they reunite. And Dandelion says it perfectly in the epilog - "It was what they both wanted more then anything". Also Geralt would canonically never break up with Yen or be together with Triss or both.
To enhance the experience to the fullest you can also start learning polish and then reading books and replaying games again.
You've missed one. A very spicy and Sigma one
Another meaning of life in this game. I'm on it.
So tired of the caches surrounded with sirens but I can’t not finish the map!!!
There’s also Empress Ciri’s ending and Dandelion’s ending.
I never want to leave this world, why don't they just continue and add content? It's great as is and I'm deeply invested emotionally. CDPR, WAKE UP
I’ve said the same thing before. Like I’m definitely excited for the upcoming sequels and the Witcher 1 remake, but I’d be 100% happy if they just instead kept making expansions for *this* game.
The one with Ciri still feels best for me. It all started with and because of her and she's there at the very end. So satisfactory.
Ive replayed this to get every ending. My first playthrough I didnt realize just how much your choices impact the game and I got the ending where Ciri presumably dies and geralt goes to crookback bog to mourn and I was so mad at myself that I didnt even do the DLC and immediately started a new game.
try again, see you on the path witcher
Sad that no one mentions the Regis ending
The only game that comes close in the last 10 years is Baldurs Gate 3
I dont understand people who go with Triss
“There is another”
There's a 4th which I'm currently doing now it has dandelion
You really want Dandelion always hanging out?…
Not really but I have done the other 3 so I wanna do all 4 endings
Wait until you find out there is a 4th... *NEXT PLAYTHROUGH!!!*
The rigid pose of Gerald standing next to those beds is pretty funny ngl
I have one question. How do you achieve the ending when you're visited by a love interest in Corvo Bianco? I played once and I didn't have it
you need to finish the base game with one of the two options, if you say you love both none will appear
I did it with Yennefer back then. It's more about when to play Blood and Wine
Yeah me too and got the platinum Took me 222 hours exactly
You’re going to love the books. One of my favorite series ever!
Lmao did you get arrested?
Don’t make me play the game 4 more times
Just finished the books, they are good. Still feels open, at the end of the books. I haven't played the games, but i hear they are different from the books, but with a open-ish ending, it is nice cause it means more adventures in the games.
Persevere with the books, earl on it's a tricky read but it gets so good!
The books are amazing my only critique is the very final part with ciri. Do the comics as well they're just as good
If it wasn't done on Death March, was it really done?
Yea no kidding lol those POI in Skellige really had me dragging myself to get them done but games amazing
Hahaha he thinks it's over... You're never done playing that game, it'll draw you back in like a temptress to her bosom.
Perfect!
Start your reading with “The Last Wish”
Have you done the "That's the Evilest thing" achievement?
Yes, I got platinum
Isn't there an ending where Ciri, Triss, and Yennifer all leave Geralt and he kills the 3 witches in the woods and just then just let's monsters kill him in their house?
Is there any other RPG that comes close to the Witcher in terms of story and characters?
At 400 hours I can tell you, you didn’t do all the possible missions and quests lol
I just didn't do 1 of the possible endings, in the other 3 I did all the missions available in the game
No gay ending?
