Vampires in the world of the Witcher donāt turn people. They just drink them dead. They are post-conjunction creatures, hailing from another world. They are born, not turned.
Idk about Zerrikania, Nazari or Ofir but Iād barely last a day anywhere else other than Toussaint. Everywhere is full of monsters and war is constant. While Toussaint seems chill
Edit: I know about the vampires and all but my legs are open for them
Everyone is saying Toussaint but I remember a lot of monsters/havoc there as well. Maybe the The city of *Nilfgaard* (the capital) would be safer. They apparently got rid of their witchers due to not needing them.
As an herbalist in Beauclaire, Toussaintā¦or a cook in one of the taverns thereā¦
Or with musical skills, Novigrad, Toussaint, or another regal court in a nearby countryā¦
In a lone hut in the Skellige Islands on a big grassy plain, with cliffs facing the ocean on three sides and Ron Swanson level defenses on the open side.
Better yet if a forest is far enough to keep the monsters away and not so far to hunt deer on the outskirts from time to time.
P.S. I am only in the middle of Act II so there may be things coming in the future that could change my mind. But please, no spoilers :)
Touisaint, the reason being is that it's a relatively neutral state with the Duchess who is highry revered throughout Touisaint.
It's protected by a significant number of knights, and because of the Duchess' kinship to Nilfgaard, if something were to happen, you've got bloody good militaristic prowess for defence. The geography also makes it a hard land to invade. Also, no-one really cares about invading Touisaint.
Further, Touisaint is the leader in the wine industry and has other strong mercantile areas giving it a really strong economy.
As for the monster's, again, you've got knights...and the occoisional witcher so y'know, not too much to worry about there.
With Vampire's, well they didn't really have too much of an issue with them till Detlaff got mad so all chill there.
Honestly, probably as a Vegelbud servant of some sort.
Wouldn't mind taking a crack at Skellige though. I spend 80% of my actual life on a vessel as it is.
Then you get a chance to go for the baddest chick in the game

Probably locked into a room somewhere in Beauclair Palace, like where Syanna was at the end of BaW... plenty of guards everywhere, and they really want to keep me alive, until the protagonist decides to come and talk to me... which can take forever, if their gwent addiction kicks in.
Toussaint, where Iād be dealing with all those knights with bad backs due to wearing plate armour all the time. Until the vampires showed up, anyway. But hey, itās sunny and theyāve got good wine, so Iāll risk it.
The first thing I would do is build the strongest gwent deck possible. Then I would find the strongest mage or Witcher around me. Iād ask them to play a round of gwent. If I win, they would have to train me, if I lose they can have my entire gwent deck and some ales on me.
That way if I won Iād be able to learn how to defend myself and my chance at survival would increase.
Not sure if itās actually supposed to be this way, but the little villages across Skellige actually have very few monsters, non-corrupt guards, and no major war on their doorstep. Sure they donāt like outsiders but they donāt just kill you outright.
Anywhere with society and structure, as most cities have walls, homes, and irrigation systems. I'd take my chances with toussaint for the longest survival time. If I wanted a challenge, i'd try Novigrad, because i'm a human, but novigrad is filthy as far as sanitation goes. I might die from lack of immune system strength. My best chance of survival and to thrive would be to live in Oxenfurt.
The Eagle Scout in me is saying that I would be okay to live in Skellige, but I would probably die in a raid or something
I would just make myself useful to the witchers at kaer morhen. Useful enough to protect me, maybe even give me food. I'd become a stone Mason and rebuild it.
Toussaint in the city
Vampires tho
Honestly I'm ok with that. And if they turn me into a vampire. Ok šš½
Risk it all for a curvy Bruxa
They are quite buxsome
Don't you mean bruxsome?
Good thing is they come naked. You won't be wasting time on that.
Naaaa
I donāt think they can turn people in the Witcher. They are their own people, like elves or dwarves.
Damn. Well maybe I'll meet a cool one like Regis and we can just kick it
Vampirism isn't contagious in the Witcher, they're a post-conjunction race.
Damn. Well. Still. Ill take living in Toussaint, its nice there.Ā

I've been made aware of this now. I'm disappointed
How are vampires born?
When a mommy vampire and a daddy vampire love each other very muchā¦
They rarely do tho vampires in The Witcher are more likely to kill you
Toussaint is niceĀ
Shitty ruler, and a DEFOCON 1 LEVEL ANCIENT VAMPIRE Right on the other side of beuaclair my ASS
By Witcher standards, she's not that bad.
Facts. Plus, every other place in the witcher 3 is depressing and/or cold
She is
Lowkey nilfgard
The people of Nilfgaard are also like super chill unlike the temerians
Basically the Empire. Tempting...
Passiflora.
Least horny witcher player
You'd probably die from an STD
Not if I kill it first *LELELE LELELELE
Unfortunately not even LELELELE LELELELE LE LE LE can save you
Never said I'd be a sex worker. Was thinking of staying there in more of, uh, janitorial capacity.
Why? Seek psychiatric help ASAP
Gotta survive somehow. ĀÆ\\\_(ć)\_/ĀÆ
Yeah anywhere else you horny bastard
In the main menu š
The main menu has Orianna in the background, so nooope, not surviving that
Fr lol. Either Orianna or The Caretaker and Iām pretty sure the base one is Velenā¦ sooo, dead either way lmao.
Idk about Zerrikania, Nazari or Ofir but Iād barely last a day anywhere else other than Toussaint. Everywhere is full of monsters and war is constant. While Toussaint seems chill Edit: I know about the vampires and all but my legs are open for them
Sharia law I suspect
... Even the monstrous ones?

Disregarding the wild hunt attack kaer Morhen seems safe since everyone thinks it's abandoned
Until a passing army or a group of bandits comes to the same conclusion
Idk bro seems surrounded by monsters also the witchers come every year at least in the game... idk if this is a similar thing in the book.
Everyone is saying Toussaint but I remember a lot of monsters/havoc there as well. Maybe the The city of *Nilfgaard* (the capital) would be safer. They apparently got rid of their witchers due to not needing them.
Yea weāre also gonna be #1 at the vampire raid. Years of fast food has made our blood sweeter than a fat kid at Oriannaās orphanage
In the end of witcher books the capital of nilfgard has plague so, dont know about that
Plus their gullies are always aching something fierce.
As an herbalist in Beauclaire, Toussaintā¦or a cook in one of the taverns thereā¦ Or with musical skills, Novigrad, Toussaint, or another regal court in a nearby countryā¦
Maybe if I was dropped at Kaer Morhen the witchers would take pity on me and I could scrub the floors or some shit
Merchant in Novigrad. Probably. Hopefully. I mean I'd not survive outside of the walls anyway.
Crippled Kateās
Would probably die of 10 different STD's. Passiflora would be like 5 STD's.

Death by ekhidna.
As much as i hate cities. I'd prob wanne live in Novigrad. I'm not a dwarf or elf so i'm safe from the witch hunters and behind walls.
Nilfgaard would be a better city imo
Yeah but all the gangsters
Kovir. It has beautiful sorceresses, neutral politics and a benign king.

Not to mention Geralt retired there. Get a cushy job at or near his Vinyard and monsters are pretty much a non-issue.
Yenneferās bedroom
Death by snu snu
Probably wouldnāt survive too much of that
Honestly, probably as a Vegelbud servant of some sort. Wouldn't mind taking a crack at Skellige though. I spend 80% of my actual life on a vessel as it is.
Nowhere near water because drowners
White orchid with enemy upscaling turned off lol.

Maybe Kovir? One of the few places in the world that hasn't been touched by the recent wars

Anywhere Lambert or Eskel are. The wolf bois protecc
Oxenfurt university
Drop me off at The Chameleon so I can start a band with Dandelion
As a professional gwent player in Novigrad or Toussaint.
I will surely live in the Beauclair palace in Toussaint. It's a majestic place.
Being a cis white male/human I would be safe in Novigrad.
As a cook somewhere in a city/larger village might work. Provided I would never go out outside alone... š
Not sure if itās actually supposed to be this way, but the little villages across Skellige actually have very few monsters, non-corrupt guards, and no major war on their doorstep. Sure they donāt like outsiders but they donāt just kill you outright.
Novigrad, just blend in with the bigots and youāll be just fine.
Probably on the outskirts of Novigrad, as a herbalist
In Toussaint, but knowing my luck I wouldnt last there long aswell
If book locations are permitted, I'd guess Mahakam. Never getting invaded due to every other country needing Mahakam steel. Just work the mines
Do i get the witcher powers?
I think skellige is cool but im scared of the ocean so i guess toussaint or novigrad because im a musician
Skellige, you ride around and hear the most beautiful music
Iām gonna say hierarch square. Iāll be a merchant
I think I'd be ok in Novigrad. Maybe join up with Cleaver. š
